Ho aspettato con impazienza la zona gialla per poter tornare da Roma sparita. La prima volta ero rimasta piacevolmente colpita sia dalla presentazione della cacio e pepe che dal gusto delle varie portate e non vedevo l'ora di poterli assaggiare nuovamente. Oggi finalmente è stato possibile prenotare e le aspettative sono state soddisfatte pienamente come la prima volta, cibo buonissimo, la cacio e pepe è una delle migliori finora provate e il personale è molto simpatico e cordiale. Consiglio assolutamente.

Girovagando per Trastevere ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristoranti o tipico romano. Risultato : carbonara e caccio pepe da 10 e stuzzichini golosissimi. Voto 10 a velocita’ e simpatia.Sicuramente da ripetere al prossimo viaggio romano. Bravi

Situato nel cuore di uno dei quartieri più caratteristici di Roma, offre un’atmosfera autentica e accogliente, perfetta per vivere la vera tradizione romana. Il locale è curato, caldo e sempre vivace, ideale sia per i romani che per i turisti in cerca di sapori genuini. La cucina è semplicemente ottima. I piatti di pasta sono buonissimi, preparati secondo la tradizione, con sapori decisi e porzioni generose. La famosa cacio e pepe è un’esperienza da non perdere, cremosa e perfettamente bilanciata. Anche la carne è di altissima qualità, tenera, saporita e cucinata alla perfezione, capace di soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti. Il servizio è professionale e ben organizzato, nonostante il locale sia spesso molto affollato. Il personale è cordiale, attento e veloce, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza piacevole dall’inizio alla fine. Si percepisce la passione e l’orgoglio per la cucina romana, elementi che rendono questo posto speciale. In conclusione, Roma Sparita è una tappa obbligatoria a Trastevere. Posto in centro a Roma, molto carino e molto tipico. Ambiente spartano, ma da trattoria romana ben fatta. Servizio nulla da dire, così come la presentazione dei piatti: semplice, diretta, molto alla romana. Gli antipasti un po’ sottotono: abbiamo preso una selezione di formaggi che è risultata piuttosto misera, pochi tocchetti messi un po’ lì senza particolare cura. I fritti, invece, buoni. Dolci buoni. Nota di merito ai primi: la cacio e pepe davvero sorprendente, con la classica crosta di formaggio, abbondante e fatta molto bene. Ottima anche la tagliata: cottura azzeccata e carne di buona qualità, cosa non scontata in posti così centrali.

Buonissimo il cibo, cacio e pepe davvero ottima. L’Amatriciana era molto buona ma il guanciale non era dei migliori purtroppo. Piatti abbondanti. Servizio un po’ alla buona ma probabilmente considerando la zona non è possibile avere sempre la pazienza e la voglia al massimo. Prezzi un po’ più alti rispetto ad altri locali simili. Consigliato ma non il mio preferito.

Ristorante caratteristico vicino alla Chiesa di Santa Cecilia. Piatti tipici. Tagliolini cacio e pepe serviti in un cestino di formaggio e ravioli dal sapore delicati.

Dopo tanto tempo sono tornata a cena con amici. Il posto è sempre stato uno dei miei preferiti e siamo stati accolti con riguardo dalla signora che ci ha subito trovato un posto all'interno nonostante fosse sabato e non avevo prenotato. Il locale ha un bello spazio fuori su un angolo discreto in piazza santa Cecilia, finalmente senza auto in sosta, mentre all'interno l'atmosfera è più soft, con un aspetto rustico- elegante dai colori pastello. Il menù ha un'ampia scelta con grande spazio ai piatti tipici romani. Abbiamo iniziato con dei fritti, ottimi, proseguendo con le mezze maniche al sugo di coda alla vaccinara che, peccato, aveva un sapore bruciacchiato ma appena fatto notare è stato prontamente tolto dal conto. La trippa alla romana, sublime. È il posto giusto, riparato dal flusso turistico, anche se molti turisti oramai hanno imparato a conoscerlo, e per i romani che vogliono ritrovare nei piatti le loro radici.

MAI MANGIATO MEGLIO DI COSI NELLA VITA. Pasta 🍝 cacio e pepe servita in una cialda di pecorino, veramente buona eccezionale direi. Polpette fritte, fatte con il bollito del brodo e poi fritte con aggiunta di formaggio fuso sopra, buonissime. Supli ottimo. Peccato non sia in super mangione avrei assaggiato tutto il menù. Ma la cacio e pepe non credo abbia eguali a Roma, non potrò mai mangiarne una migliore. Personale simpatico puntuale e disponibile anche a soddisfare un mio capriccio come quello di mettere una candelina nella cacio e pepe. Location bella, pulita. Abbiamo preso io e i miei colleghi 3 primi, 3 secondi e 3 dolci. I primi li abbiamo divisi, ed erano ottimi: carbonara, gricia e amatriciana davvero ottimi. I secondi: coda alla vaccinara, trippa romana e scaloppine al limone altrettanto. Per non parlare dei dolci: tortino fondente caldo dentro accompagnato da un po’ di panna ottima altrettanto e un pasticcio di mele caldo con uvetta e gelato alla vaniglia. Insomma, OTTIMO! Lo consiglio vivamente.

We enjoyed a truly delightful lunch here today. Small restaurant (so booking is advised) with an amazing vibe. Acoustics are great so even with a full restaurant it is easy to have lively conversation with your fellow diners. Started with fried zucchini flowers and Telefono ( which were like arancini balls but more cylindrical). While the batter on the flowers was heavier than I normally like, what delectable flavour and a hint of anchovies. The telefono were crispy and oozing with cheese. Was a cheesy pasta lunch! Cacio e Pepe was delightful and served in a Parmesan bowl. My carbonara had the perfect amount of pork and cheese. Service was excellent. Friendly helpful staff.

Best pasta we’ve had in Rome. Definitely get the Cacio e Pepe, it comes in a bowl made of cheese. It’s unique and delicious. Also highly recommend the Amatriciana, it was just as tasty.

Finally found the Ricotta e Visciole (sour cherry and ricotta tart/cake) of my dreams and will be dreaming of it for years to come. It was a daily special and it was so fantastic that we had to order two more. Other notable delicious items were the suppli and the fried artichokes. Lovely dinner with special and warm service. Delicious!!! Easy seating for 2 with no reservations. The service was great and the food was delicious! I got the cacio e Pepe and it came in a cheese bowl! It was a neat experience but definitely a heavy meal. Overall the experience was great and I think it is an amazing stop for dinner!

Roberto is a superstar and highly recommends the meatballs (which we do as well). We came here after seeing the Anthony Bordane recommendation. We had this saved as a place for Cacio e Pepe, and it absolutely delivered! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT skip the chance to order the cacio e pepe. It will be one of the top food experiences you have. We got in about 10 minutes after they opened (without a reservation), and we're able to get sat right away. This place is tucked away in a corner in a quiet spot of town, and we are glad we tried it. Even though the place quickly filled up, our server, Roberto, made us feel like we were the only ones in the room, and we could tell he did the same for everyone. His joy permeated the entire restaurant, and made the dining experience even better. Also, make sure to try the meatballs before you leave. They are uniquely fluffy, crisp, juicy, and flavorful all at the same time. Again, just make sure you try them before you leave. We will absolutely come back for the food, but even more so, Roberto.

Tucked away in one of the quieter, less touristy corners of Trastevere, this little gem came highly recommended for its famous Cacio e Pepe. We opted to sit indoors, even though their outdoor patio looked absolutely charming, sometimes you just want the cozy indoor vibe. Our waiter was funny, friendly, and quick on his feet. He took our order with a smile, shared the daily specials, and even threw in a few jokes. But my mind was already made up: Tagliolini Cacio e Pepe it was! When the plate arrived, I was instantly impressed by the presentation: a work of art! The pasta was crowned in a crispy shell of pecorino cheese, which you could break apart and enjoy alongside each bite. Genius touch. The pasta itself was cooked to perfection; though personally, I would have preferred the slightly thicker tonnarelli, the flavor was spot on. Bravo to the Roma Sparita team, you’ve won me over! 👏🏼

On Sunday evening, this restaurant—like many others in Trastevere—was completely full of guests. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to find a free table. The moderately priced menu looked inviting, as did the friendly waitresses. The beef steak was delicious, though my lamb steak was merely tasty. The wine we ordered was quite strong.

Hands down the best dining experience of our trip. The food was absolutely out of this world—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The cacio e pepe and artichoke dishes are an absolute must. My husband and I got incredibly lucky—we showed up right as they were opening and the hostess managed to squeeze us in. Otherwise, we would’ve needed a reservation, which we now highly recommend. This spot fills up fast, and for good reason! Fantastic food, warm service, and a truly memorable meal. A highlight of our time in Rome.

One of the best restaurants in all of Rome. This is now the second time we have been at this establishment and it was even better this time around. The staff and owners are friendly and hospitable. They always come and offer. Great suggestions. The food is unlike anything we have ever eaten. Squash blossoms to start with the stuffed fried olives were perfect and tasty. The Cacho Pepe, seafood gnocchi, and the ravioli were our mains. All were done just to our liking. The margarita pizza was a great finish to the meal. The cake of the day and the tiramisu were the desserts to finish everything. A truly perfect meal!

We came here because of a recommendation from our hotel owner. We were not disappointed. We got the eggplant appetizer and they were able to make me a diary-free gnocchi, and my husband got the Cacio e Pepe. Loved our meals and the service was great. We appreciated how cheery our waiter was. Make sure to have a reservation!

Piatti della cucina romana ben fatti, peccato che non fossero disponibili gli schiaffoni al sugo di coda ( che volevo assaggiare) ma gli gnocchi con le vongole sono stati un degno sostituto. Buono il filetto di baccalá e il carciofo alla giudia. Servizio ottimo, il cameriere è stato veramente gentile e simpatico. L'ho trovato forse un po' caro.

Ristorante tipico che affaccia su una piazza bella e tranquilla. La cacio e pepe è il punto di forza e in effetti è buona. Viene però servita in un cestino di parmigiano che potrebbe essere benissimo evitato visto che è immangiabile. La carbonara è da evitare. Come anche non riprenderei il carciofo alla Giudia, arrivato subito, ma freddo ed eccessivamente bruciato. Ottima invece la frittura dei filetti. Il servizio è veloce e attento, ma la disposizione dei tavoli che ricorda il tetris, davvero pessima. Aggiornamento... Tiramisù ottimo, ma il biscotto prevale rispetto alla poca crema.

Cucina tipica romana, con piatti preparati in modo autentico e in porzioni abbondanti. Buonissima la coda alla vaccinara e anche la trippa. Molto buono anche il servizio, personale simpatico e ben disposto ad accogliere le richieste del cliente. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Great restaurant ! We ordered a variety of pastas, a capriciosa pizza, melon and prosciutto, and some antipasto. Everything tasted very good and the house white wine was so smooth and fresh.

We were able to get a quick walk in table here. Only tables inside were available without a booking. Our entrees were delicious. We did order the carbonara however it was the saltiest food we have ever tasted. We were unfortunately unable to finish the meal because of this.

Ten years ago, we had one of the most memorable meals of our lives at Roma Sparita – a zucchini risotto so exceptional that it remained firmly in our minds ever since. So when planning this trip to Rome, there was no question we would return. We booked our table weeks in advance and arrived on time on a warm June evening. Unfortunately, there was no risotto on the menu this time – likely due to the season, as our first visit had been in October. Instead, we opted for dishes with fresh porcini mushrooms: pasta with porcini (flavorful, though lightly seasoned) and beef with porcini, which sadly turned out to be quite tough. Service was mixed – occasionally friendly, but mostly slow, distracted, and clearly under pressure. The white wine, despite two requests, was served at room temperature and only began to chill once placed in an ice bucket at the table. One particularly disappointing aspect was the attitude of the hostess, who reacted quite curtly and dismissively to walk-in guests. Given the restaurant’s popularity and high turnover, one might expect a warmer welcome. All in all, the food was decent, but given the increased prices and the cherished memory of our first visit, our expectations were higher. The magic of that first experience, unfortunately, did not return.

Andava tutto bene, ma non una cucina Romana fuori dal normale. I prezzi sono quelli che sono anche a causa della zona quindi niente di nuovo. Non penso ci tornerò. Se mai qualcuno mi convincerà a tornare a mangiare fuori a Trastevere penso uno degli altri ristoranti vada bene uguale.

Posto a trastevere in una bella piazza. Il locale è normale, nulla di particolare. Sia il servizio che il cibo sono sulla sufficienza. Non ha trasmesso emozioni. Prezzo nella media. Potrebbe avere un bel potenziale. Non mi ha convinto però nell’insieme.

Arrived just as they opened at lunchtime, so we were probably lucky to get a table. The restaurant rapidly filled up with locals who seemed to be regulars. We ordered the fried artichoke, a stuffed courgette flower, the ratatouille, the renowned cacio e pepe and some meatballs, tiramisu and panna cotta. The starters were ok, although the stuffed courgette flower was a bit heavy. Perhaps cheese is not my thing, but the cacio e pepe did not wow me and the meatballs came robed in a slightly oddly greenish sauce. The tiramisu was good, but the panna cotta lacked wobble and was a bit solid. I suspect other dishes might have served us better.

I normally don’t leave reviews but this was without a doubt the single worst meal of our trip and I would hate for someone else to waste a precious meal of their holiday on this restaurant. Tldr; don’t fall for the reviews and Bourdain effect—this is the biggest tourist trap with unbelievably rude staff, and you will regret wasting a dinner here. Food: I’ll start by noting that everything we ordered was a direct, although inexplicably reluctant, recommendation by our waiter. The fried zucchini blossoms were a tasteless, bready blob with a few flowers inside. We couldn’t bring ourselves to finish it. The famous cacio e pepe was fine but pretty dry and uneventful. The oriechette special with salted cod was maybe the worst pasta I have ever had. The sauce dried up on the hard pasta and the cod was extremely bland. We actually cancelled our secondi because the food was so bad, which I have never had to do before. Drink: We ordered two beers and a water, all of which came out lukewarm. We didn’t complain about it because we didn’t want to bother the servers who seemed busy and were already being cold to us, but couldn’t have done so anyways given it was impossible to flag anybody down all evening. Service: So cold and impatient to our table from the very beginning when we asked for recommendations with our order. Also took away our plates with more than half of the food left unfinished and didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay. To add insult to injury, our waiter (after three separate requests for the check) dropped off our bill and said “service is not included.” Which was insane because (1) restaurants in Rome typically do not apply service charges, (2) literally what service and (3) the bill had a 3 euro charge for “pane e service” ?? When asked about this the waiter just said that it was a fee for bringing out plates and cups to our table and said all restaurants do this— we’ve literally never seen this charge on any of our meals in Rome. When asked why we received no bread when the charge says “pane” he said it was our fault for not requesting bread. Rome is an amazing city with more incredible restaurants than any of us have time for in a single visit. There is no reason to spend any of your hard earned time and money at this restaurant that will happily serve its customers miserable food under the guise of being gourmet, even if Anthony Bourdain did eat here 14 years ago.
