Consiglio vivamente questo luogo. Siamo stati oggi, 22 dicembre 2024, il mio compagno ed io a pranzo. Io sono di Roma ma vivo ad Assisi da 20 anni. Ho portato il mio compagno a Campo de Fiori e ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo ristorante. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, una carbonara, due carciofi alla romana, vino rosso, il Brunello di Montalcino, 2 calici a testa. A me hanno consigliato cacio e pepe con tartare di gambero. Porzioni giuste, anche le tempistiche, simpatici e gentili! Roma è strapiena di turisti, il locale aveva molti tavoli occupati. Qualità prezzo veramente buona. Mi aspettavo di pagare di più. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

Non sarei mai entrata se non fosse per il bravissimo ragazzo (Doni se non sbaglio) che in modo davvero carino e simpatico ha convinto me e le mie amiche a sederci per un aperitivo. Siamo rimaste molto contente, torneremo e proponiamo al proprietario un aumento per lui.

Abbiamo pranzato ieri da Magus Bistrò e l’esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Ci siamo seduti nella veranda che affaccia direttamente su Piazza Campo de’ Fiori, una posizione splendida che permette di godersi l’atmosfera vivace della piazza restando comunque in un ambiente curato e rilassante. Il servizio è stato attento e cordiale, con tempi giusti e grande disponibilità. Il pranzo è stato all’altezza della location: piatti ben presentati, sapori equilibrati e ingredienti di qualità. Un posto ideale per fermarsi a mangiare con calma, osservando la vita della piazza. Torneremo volentieri.

In piena piazza, atmosfera piacevole e personale gentilissimo. Ho assaggiato gli involtini alla romana con puntarelle: semplicemente deliziosi! Un piatto tipico eseguito alla perfezione. Super consigliato per chi vuole gustare la vera cucina romana con un servizio attento e cordiale.

The pasta was simply great! Everything was cooked with care — the sauce was rich, the pasta perfectly done, and the presentation looked beautiful. You can tell the kitchen puts effort into it. I also counted the calories using the service shown in the photo — it was fast and super convenient! For anyone who keeps track of their diet, it’s a must-have. It automatically calculates calories and macros, so you can finally stop guessing what’s on your plate.

We have a hotel in the area and overall have enjoyed the scene at Campo de Fiori! We stopped by to eat the other night and got a pushy vibe (ya normal, I know) with every menu we stopped to take a look. We ended up going back to Magus because the host’s vibe (Juliano) was so chill and focused on just food and ingredients. We chose well and enjoyed a full evening of food and drinks. We were basically served by everyone at the restaurant at some point and the vibes were awesome! Enjoyed a bottle of wine, zuppe, primi, and dolci at a very reasonable price in Rome! Sorry, only picture of empty plates to share. Thanks guys!

Used to come here when it was under a different name. I have been coming here for the last 4-5 years every time I visit Rome. They are so lovely and accommodating regarding my food and they were very pleasant to talk to. Didn't wait for a table on my last visit and they pricing is very reasonable.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. The person who served us was incredibly lovely, they opened our wine for us and personally served the dishes. From the beautifully presented starters to the delicious pizzas (which I absolutely loved), everything was on point. The atmosphere was lively and full of charm, with live music playing in the background that really added to the energy and made the whole experience feel special. Highly recommended!

A very lovely place to take a break and enjoy something tasty. The atmosphere is romantic and the service is great. The pesto pasta, Caesar salad and pizzas were excellent. Prices are reasonable. They have a slightly quirky toilet 🙈 but we’ll just chalk that up to the charm of small Italian restaurants. ☺️

Great vibes overlooking Campo de Fiori. Been to this place thrice during our visit. Service was warm, friendly & efficient and so was the food!! Good place to unwind. Roasted potatoes & Tiramisu were the highlights for me. Good selection of Birra Morrettis... 'La Rossa' for me but they have an equally great selection of drinks with ample selection of wines. Other dishes we tasted were sauteed Mussels & Clam, bruschetta pomodoro, linguine with pesto, Pana cotta. Must visit when in this part of the city!

During our September trip to Rome, Magus Bistro stood out as the best dining experience. It was amazing and would recommend to anyone! Pros: > Has an extensive food and drinks menu > Seafood soup and carbonara tasted amazing and authentic > Beautifully decorated and seating were comfy > Staff were friendly > Very accessible as it's located in Campo de' Fiori Cons: > Nothing major, but it would be nice if the tables were spaced out a bit more for added privacy and reduced noise.

We stopped in for lunch and ate indoors to avoid the smokers on the patio. Inside was a cozy and well decorated atmosphere. We had aperol spritzs, the mussels, spinach ravioli, and I'm pretty sure my husband had the lamb. The spritzs were refreshing and the food was good, probably some of the larger portion sizes we had while in Rome. It felt like our waitress upsold us / maybe took advantage of us being tourists, the bread we were asked if wanted was 7 euros, the bottled water was 7 euros too, and maybe we could've easily forgotten about that; if it wasn't for when she brought the bill, she said "There's no tip on there but 10 is fine." Oof. Not so sure we would stop back in here again, but the food was good so I guess the "meh" service experience wouldn't stop me from recommending dining here.

Service was good here. Attentive frontliners with good upselling skills too. We had a grilled beef steak . It was dry and lacked seasoning but ok for the price point. Came with deep fried artichoke which was very good. Cacio de pepe. My first time trying. Pretty good dish. I must experiment with different cheeses when i get home 😅 First time trying an aperol spritz too. Better than a campari orange ( back in my old days when this was more popular) and less bitter than campari. Nice drink but i dont understand the hype behind it 😅 Amaretto sour ... perfect ! Very well made. Good amount of amaretto and just the right amount of sweet sour mix. Loved it. Nice indoor decor. We sat indoors as too many people smoking outside.

Camerieri gentili e cortesi, pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo, la cacio e pepe con retrogusto di aglio, pinsa quasi cruda, insalata Cesare con più pane che pollo, il cocomero tagliato con tutta la parte bianca, il tutto in mezze porzioni con prezzi di doppie porzioni. We came here expecting to have a nice dinner, but it was honestly disappointing from the start. We ordered a Moscow Mule and it was awful - completely unbalanced, tasted nothing like it should. When we politely asked if they could change it, the staff refused in a very rude and dismissive way, as if we were bothering them. We decided to stay anyway and try the food, but even the pizzas were nothing special - dough undercooked, toppings bland, and overall way below what you’d expect for the price. The worst part, though, was the attitude of the staff. Zero hospitality, zero willingness to make things right. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. There are so many better spots around with good food and decent service.
