Excellent refuge, quiet and easily accessible by car. An ideal starting point for exploring beautiful trails. We discovered it through Wonderbox and were welcomed by two very kind ladies. Clean and comfortable rooms, enchanting mountain views. The refuge has showers, a bar, and lunch and dinner service.

An excellent strategic place to spend a cool night in the height of summer, the place does not offer much other than the excellent cuisine of the refuge and the tranquility and beauty of the pre-Alps.

We came to eat here as tourists and it was excellent. We've never eaten such beautifully presented food, and the staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. This is a must-visit if you're passing through Baresí. Stop by; it's essential to have a good time and enjoy a typical local dish. The food isn't expensive; expect to pay around €10-15 per person, excluding drinks. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Family atmosphere, excellent food, very friendly staff. My husband and I spent New Year's Eve here, with our dog Billy, who was given a VERY warm welcome, making us all feel at home and comfortable. 🙂 The refuge is also a starting point for many interesting treks of varying difficulty. We will definitely be back!!!

My friends and I spent New Year's Eve at this refuge. As for the food, we ate some excellent Bergamo delicacies—chapeau! The welcome, kindness, and helpfulness of Lara and her staff made us feel right at home. Everyone was truly fantastic, friendly, and professional. Congratulations! We had a super fun New Year's Eve, characterized by simplicity, good company, and good food! The rooms were clean and tidy. I especially recommend them to groups of friends who want to enjoy the Brembana Valley scenery and go on some beautiful hikes, from the simplest to the most challenging. We'll definitely be back ☺️

Truly excellent typical Brembana Valley dishes, reasonably priced, and enchanting views. The owners are very friendly and pleasant. Definitely worth stopping here for a meal! They even set the table for the baby with tiny cutlery and a little glass!

We tried it for a Sunday lunch with friends and were very pleased. Surrounded by greenery, with the option of dining al fresco overlooking a beautiful mountain panorama, it offers traditional local cuisine that's both delicious and hearty. The polenta taragna and its accompanying dishes are excellent. The charcuterie and cheese platter are also excellent. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly staff and the good value (average price is around €25-30 per person).

It doesn't have the feel of a refuge accessible only on foot (a paved road leads there), but there's a lovely trail through the woods that leads there from Isola di Fondra, and it's a lovely walk. The cuisine (Bergamo-style) is excellent...I'm still thinking about the "gnoc de cola" and the venison with taragna polenta. Highly recommended. And don't miss the homemade cake.
