Ordered take out so did not dine in. Order was ready in reasonable amount of time. Appreciate that the menu had pictures and good descriptions of the dishes, and several wait staff spoke English. Reminded me of food I ate as a kid prepared by older relatives, Cantonese style food that my elderly father and his wife enjoyed. Portions are a good size, prices on par with other similar restaurants.
I often swing by this Chinese diner to pick up good foods because it’s prepared hot and fresh in the stove at the time you order it. The ingredients and portions are not bad and sustaining my family’s appetites. Once more say, we enjoy the fresh foods and good portion s they servings to its pricing! NOT BAD!
This place has always been awesome. Lunch special prices are worth it. Huge portions. Fast service even though parking is sometimes difficult to find, and there are wait times during rush hours. Food is good too. Very authentic Cantonese Chinese style food. Although, they also have some American Chinese dishes which is perfect for the Asians born and raised here too. Soup always comes with the meal at no extra cost.
35 years! My favorite Cantonese style restaurant. Recommended it’s lunch special. Great portion and prices. Ordered 10-12 dishes for 10 people will not break your piggy bank! Enjoyed!
Prob one of the best Chinese places in the area, out of so many Chinese food places. The price is also very reasonable. If you come before 6 pm it's lunch special prices, $10.98 per dish, plus you get free rice and soup. After the pandemic it's hard to find such good value like this.
Brought my mom and uncle here for lunch. Other than the cook being on a break, and our lunch coming a little late, it was delicious. Our soup, rice and hot tea were brought out right away, but the other dishes took awhile to arrive. We were warned by the server, so it was fine. We had the black pepper beef, fish filet with seasonal vegetables, pineapple ginger chicken with veggies and some sort of fried pork chop; pure deliciousness! During the lunch ours all the dishes are $9.99 and are served family style with rice and soup. The plates are generous, you will have leftovers!
Very popular place among the locals here. So be prepared to wait if you come during a popular time. Amazing prices. Lunch is about seven bucks for most of their dishes on the menu! Their fried sole fish is a pretty popular dish as it’s quite tasty. Food is family style and it comes with rice and a giant bowl of soup.
The food is great. The service is so so but this area is known for amazing Asian food and it does not disappoint here. The price is incredibly competitive. This is a great place for a Chinese lobster at an incredible price. Very busy during dinner time so come early. They don't accept reservations.
Great traditional Chinese family restaurant. Food is always good. It gets popular during mealtime , so be prepared to wait but once you are seated you'll definitely enjoy the food. Our favorites are fried flounder, peppered pork chops, steamed pork patty with salted egg, and tomato beef. They also have special lunch prices up to 6 PM which is great for take out.
Tin Tin is very special to us . We are a family of 5. My kids love love this restaurant and staff service is great we feel like family. We've come here to celebrate birthday , graduation , anniversary, mother's day , we come here 3-4 times a month. The food is presentable, delicious, outstanding, Phenomenal. Everyone we have brought to tin tin come back and told a friend or family member and everyone who has experience Tin Tin food leaves satisfying and Full. My girls love love the soup and clams black bean sauce and many more plates We love everyone there we've become family. 😝😍😘😍😘👍🏼
If you love authentic chinese cuisine, this is your go to place. There is nothing better than a nice cheap meal split amongst your friends and family in a lively environment. This place isn't the most fancy or clean, and the staff isn't the most friendliest unless you speak the same language, but that doesn't drop the rating at all. That's what this place is, to sit down, order food, and chow down, not a sit and dine on a date kind of place. I honestly think the price and the taste of the food is amazing, and my family comes down here pretty often.
We’ve been coming here for YEARS. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT food! Their lobster in garlic sauce is a MUST. So tasty and fresh! You cannot go wrong with any of their food items. Definitely a place to come visit and enjoy some awesome Chinese food!
I came here with my family and the service was great! I love how they were attentive and asking us a lot of questions as well as answering questions we had which made ordering what we wanted a breeze! The food was great and would come back with my family again!
Hi I moved from there, and I'm going back to visit , someone told me the restaurant is bad! now they have a "C" please can someone respond to this ? I loved this place their dishes had such a great flavor! 😀 Plus I love sea food and this was my favorite when I lived there in Monterey Park.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended—be sure to try their stewed black chicken soup!
My girlfriend and I went for some early dinner delicious food, wide variety of dishes,, nice portion and very affordable prices we will go again to try new dishes
Great food again at Tin Tin Restaurant. This time it was beef with Chinese Broccoli and Chicken and Salted fish fried rice. It's a homemade memory brought back to life in excellent fashion. The portion is so big and tasty. Just the best flavor rice.
Delicious food. Recommended to try it. You will never regret. Reasonable price for lunch (11am to 6pm).
Pretty good chinese food. The lunch prices before 6pm is cheap and def more worth it. Their lobster is 9 dollars a lb. ,Tofu in stonepot are al good choices for our first time ordering we weren't dissapointed.
We totally love this place! We drive in from Riverside and try to make it out here at least once a month if possible. So well worth the trip, highly recommended!
Best authentic Chinese food I've had in socal. In addition to the cheap prices, the portion sizes are absolutely loaded too. Just look at how much fried rice and red braised pork belly we got!!! Really recommend if you're trying to find some good and cheap chinese food.
Nice tradition Chinese mostly Canton style cuisine. Lots of variety, may need to wait a little bit so time. Service may need a little patient as they serve so many tables. Would visit again when we are in that area.

Love this place! The food is amazing here. So much variety and savory goodness. I have tried majority of the dishes here and none of them have disappointed me. However it can get super crowded and busy at times so it’s best to go at off hours. Great portions too.
I don't know how they do it, their prices are excellent and the food quality is superior. I have been coming here for about 5 years and all I can say that this is an authentic Chinese food restaurant. The food is great well seasoned and delicious. They also serve a hot tea with your meal.
A great spot for lunch specials. Food comes with good size portions. I will come back.

Their lunch is an absolute bargain, with that price and plenty of items to select from. Food quality ain't bad at all and portions are generous . Service is not bad either, fast and attentive. 👍
Tasty, authentic Chinese food, friendly staff, restaurant is fairly plain but clean and bright
A great place for lunch or an early dinner as their lunch special is good until 5:30. A large variety of Cantonese dishes are delicious and plentiful. It's also a great takeout opportunity, just phone in your order 20-30 minutes early and it will be there when you arrive.
A great spot for a cheap lunch! The food isn’t bad at all, and I’d definitely come back anytime.
The lunch special is only $9.99 for 60+ dishes as of April 2022. This is a very typical Cantonese style Chinese restaurant and it is very similar to Sam Woo. The food is good and the size of the dishes are fair. Give it a try if you are looking for quick and decent Cantonese Chinese foods for cheap. Quick tips: Don't expect this is the cleanest restaurant. They do not have world class customer services there if you don't speak Cantonese.
The lunch specials are now $10.95 from 11am - 6pm. We ordered a scrambled egg with shrimp, pea sprouts in broth, salt and pepper pork chop, hand shredded brown chicken and steam black cod with black soy beans. All the dishes were tasty and portions were generous. It comes with a big bowl of soup of the day and a big tub of long grain jasmine white rice. We arrived 5-7 minutes after they opened, the restaurant is already half full on Saturday. The restaurant is understaffed, we ask for a glass of ice water, it did not come until there were other tables that ordered similar items where the waitress eventually brought our ice water. The dishes also come in batches as well after we ordered. The 1st dish that came was the salt and pepper pork chops, since there about 5-6 tables ordered a similar item. The second dish that came was the scrambled egg with shrimp. We saw the waiter carrying 4 plates of the same scrambled egg with shrimp and distributing it to the table around us. While we were eating there were lots of customers coming in or calling in for placing to-go orders. The kitchen staff is overwhelmed and the rest of our food is now running behind. We have to wave down the waiter and waitress a few times to check on the remainder of our order. Since they were quite busy many regular customers would just walk up to pay their bill at the cash register and ask for a box and plastic bag. Some customers even know which drawer to open for utensils, plastic bags, spoons, small bowls no, etc.

Good and inexpensive lunch specials, but sometimes the good cook is off and the food isn't great
Good value for the food, typical Cantonese main stream cuisine, Lunch special at good price
A local restaurant that is very popular with the locals. The cooking is very consistent & decent. Seen a lot of older customers who seem like regulars by the way they were interacting with the waiters & waitresses. The prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere was busy with people enjoying their meals.

Had not come here for a while, but came here with my family during the weekend. Used to actually love the food because of huge portion for the cheap price with a tasted good...BUT now it is salty salty salty...at least most of the dishes we ordered seem to be. Portions are smaller than before, but there was a lot of selection for $5.50 for lunch special which last till 6 PM (make sure you read fine print on top of menu). Had to wait, but on the plus is they have a lot of larger tables than a lot of Chinese restaurants. Customer services were not bad in that they were busy, but they were listening. Parking is free, but limited on a busy weekend.
The food is ok , the price is good , give big portions and always busy .lots choice on menu .

Food comes with good size portions. The Baked Shrimp with Pepper Salt was good and the size of the shrimps were large. Taste is typical for that plate. The Slice Chicken with Ginger and Pineapple has a sweet taste but not oily at all. The Beef with Oyster Sauce was too oily for my taste.

Waiter are rude and yelling at us about too little tips. Our host explained to them services are bad and food quality are beyond acceptable. (Prices are above average.) There are many restaurants in Monterey park. You are advised consider another Chinese food restaurant in this area. 😮💨
Food was barely mediocre. The carpet was torn and stained. I didn't see their C health report rating until I finished my meal. Will I come back? Definitely NO
The food is great but the service is horrible. It took them 30 mins to seat my table of 6 when there were plenty of empty tables. I've been here before but today the food has really lost its spark. The food is okay to eat based on its cost. You get what you paid for. I wouldn't recommend this for dine in as this place is crowded and wherever you sit you will be bumming your shoulder with the table next to you. Unless you're in the booth but those are just dirty seats, it's like they never clean them. In conclusion i was very dissatisfied with the seating service and the seating of the place in general.
Ordered chow mein price went up to $14. That’s ok but I was expecting good food. They just fried the noodles without seasoning it. It’s like eating noodles without any taste to it. Very plain. Very disappointed. Looking for a good restaurant in San Gabriel valley.
I have tried at this restaurant 2nd time in the last 3 months but it’s getting worse the last time we had some dishes that were salty (for preservative) & greasy. Waiting to pay bills was a pain. I won’t come again.
Service is very slow even on a slow day. Waitress was very rude. The food is overly salty the only thing good about this place is they have lunch special until 6pm. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend this at all unless you’re on a budget.
I googled Chinese cuisine in the area that I was paying a close friend a visit to. I wanted good authentic food. Let's cut to the chase, the service was awful, and the food was awful it took me 10 minutes to chew one piece of orange chicken. I had to beg for water and when the waitress did bring the water, it was yellow.
I had diarrhea the next morning after family dinner. I ordered the clams, shrimp with eggs, lobster, sweet and sour pork, and veggies. The food is no longer the same. Have they changed the ownership?
