Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere! The portions were super generous and flavorful. There was something on the menu for everyone. We didn’t feel rushed while out for a celebration and the entire family loved the food. Staff was beyond pleasant.

Reservations are a must. They have the best Prixe Fixe menu around (when offered). The burrata appetizer is top notch as well as the balsamic drizzle on the plate. Compliments the fresh green and red tomatoes. The pasta dishes are all perfectly al dente. The seafood is always fresh. My favorite sauce is the franchese - goes well with everything (especially the breaded pork chops with hot cherry tomatoes). Warm and friendly service, a semi-fine dining atmosphere with a full bar. Enjoy!

Love the food! The dishes are really big portion. Dishes can be served family style and can share up to 4 people. Nice atmosphere. The architectural detail is amazing and the lighting fixtures there are very nice as well. Has a pork chop, it's very juicy and tender. They have a huge party room toward the back. Complimentary valet parking available.

The food & service at this restaurant was awesome. Our waiter Al was amazing & knew the new 3 course menu which was $39.95 like the back of his hand. He suggested items on the menu that we may like as well as knew pairings of wines with our food. He was extremely pleasant & allowed us to enjoy our dining experience with great service but little interruption! My niece said she visited this establishment 2X before & loved everything about it. We will definitely be back!

It takes a special skill to make basic Italian-American food underwhelming and bland but this place does that well. If you don’t know good food, you might like it here. Two people in our party asked our waiter about 6 times if the bolognese had any dairy in it and asked for dairy free recommendations, he assured us it absolutely had no dairy as I’m allergic. It literally had visible cheese all over it. He also recommended the branzino, which was fine but pretty flavorless, small, and didn’t taste fresh. After 30 minutes I was able to get his attention (he never checked in with us even when I told another server that I was told the bolognese was dairy free…) and asked if he can give me some bolognese in a bowl or something without cheese so I don’t have to leave the place hungry and I said it will be on the house, right? He said of course. They brought it out after the table was cleaned and everyone was done eating. When the bill came, he charged me for it, in addition to the original family style bolognese which was not as described. I asked him why he charged me for the rectified small bowl that he said would be on the house and he said “well you ate it, right?”……. I had to argue with him to get him to ask his manager to take it off the bill. Overall, if you don’t know what good food is and like crappy service, come here!

4 of us he dinner here on Saturday Night. We ordered a few dishes. Chopped salad was nothing special. As for the pasta. We ordered the vermicelli nerano which was said to be zucchini and provolone cheese. We were served mafaldine pasta in a brown sauce. Not only wasn’t it vermicelli, but it was brown and I didn’t see zucchini. Manager came over told us it was vermicelli, did we want anything else and removed it from the table. Stick to Matteos in Howard beach or Bellmore.

The worst restaurant takes a very long time to prepare orders, irresponsible employees, waited 35 minutes for a takeaway order. I ask the administrator of the establishment to sort this situation out. It is not good when people wait for an order for 25-30 minutes. One employee says 15 minutes, when 15 minutes have passed, the second employee said to wait another 10 minutes. July 24, 7:03 pm.
