What can I say? Really good food across the board. One of my boys burger was a bit dry. The steaks and shrimp were fantastic. That freaking stampede dessert is enough for 6-8 people. Service was fantastic

Food and service is always great here, especially for the price. It is always busy here and for a reason. Everything was great. Me and my boyfriend came here last night, and were waited on by Aaron. He was exceptional in every way. My steak came out overcooked and he made sure it was fixed promptly. If you come here ask for Aaron.

Good steak dinners at a reasonable price. Always consistently good. Salads, loaded potato and fresh bread round out the meal.

I've ordered curbside to-go a couple times and have been throughly satisfied on all occasions. Ordering online is easy and convenient. You check-in once you arrive and they'll bring your order directly to you. Everything was packed up nicely and accurately and all the food was absolutely delicious. I think my most favorite item is the stuffed mushrooms appetizer... so good!

After days of going back and forth between steak and seafood for birthday lunch, the decision came down to steak after my younger son expressed his desire to join the "Outlaw Ribeye" club. 🤭 We decided to visit the location at La Frontera and luckily, there was no wait when we arrived around 12:30pm. After getting seated, we started with Wild West Shrimp as usual, a lightly breaded fried shrimp mixed with banana peppers and jalapeño peppers and for the main dish, rather than joining the rest of the family with the Outlaw Ribeye, I decided to try the 22 oz Longhorn Porterhouse cooked in medium, with Caesar salad and steam broccoli as two sides. Wild West Shrimp appetizer did not disappoint and "paved" the rest of the meal beautifully. The Caesar salad that followed had the right amount of dressing and croutons that further contributed to the dining experience. And finally, the Longhorn Porterhouse... The steak was juicy, well seasoned, cooked just right and with each bite it made me think I have made a good choice. Overall a great dining experience with good service. Highly recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday, no wait, staff was nice, and it was clean. We had the brisket queso which was a little greasy but the taste great, kids chicken strip meal is actually a pretty big serving size, the cheese burger on the lunch special was great (and their lunch special is Mon-Sat). The chicken fried chicken was breaded and seasoned well, didn't care for the bitter sauce that came on the steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes had a little too much butter but everything tasted great. The Outlaw ribeye and asparagus were both cooked perfectly, huge cut of steak. All in all great experience and great food

A quieter steakhouse with extremely helpful staff. The cuts and prep of steaks were seared to perfection. The portions for the price range was on par. The size of adult beverages and taste were pleasant.

This was my husband's and my first visit to Round Rock and coming to this restaurant. Our waitress and service was Awesome. I feel pretty bad that I didn't quite remember her name. I think her name was Hanna. She seemed like 5ft with braided blond hair. But either ways she was a wonderful server and attentive with if we needed anything, kept bringing refills and just great service and courtesy. And the appetizer, bread and butter and main course we're DELICIOUS. Can't wait to make another trip out here to Round Rock again with the whole family next time.

We had the Tbone Steak w/Broccoli, and also the Atlantic Grilled Salmon on Rice w/Steamed Broccoli and the Grilled chicken Cesar salad. 😍👍☝😁 The only problem was if you're not a Salt fan, please request the Steak not 2b seasoned.😝 Other than that Everything was Perfect! 👍😉😁 Ronny the Manager and Savannah were Great!🤗😁👍 they redid my husband's Tbone Steak w/o the seasoning and OMG it was Beautiful and Perfect. I went early so not many customers. That's good for speedy service lol. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Didn't look faded or old. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was cooked as requested and came out perfect.

If your in the mood for a Texas steak, come here asap. We came here to celebrate a project launch and the staff was very friendly. We both got the ribeye and they were both cooked and seasoned to perfection. The potato and sautéed mushrooms were to die for and a perfect complement. The cocktails were strong and delicious. I have had many steak dinners that were more expensive but none as good as this one. I will be back soon!!!

So glad I ate here! Didn't want steak so I got the chicken fried steak and it was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. I loved their gravy. Fried okra was excellent as well. My glass was empty for too long but and our bread was cold by the time we got plates but other than that the service was super. Clean restaurant, masks mandatory, hope it stays that way tbh. Updated Review / (April) : The Food was Delicious. Steak was Perfectly cooked to medium Rare. Service was Good. Never had to ask for refill or anything. Our waiter was attentive and very kind. Our drinks / margaritas, well made and tasty. Especially the Mango flavored one. Only personal opinion, The lemon asparagus was unfortunately bland. And no hint or any taste of lemon was found. Nor a glaze or sauce of it over the asparagus like menu says. Ceaser Salad was well dressed. Other then the side, enjoyable dinner and good atmosphere. Clean tables and restaurant. Old Review: The Food was so Tasty and Good. The Service made it even all the better. Such a Friendly and attentive Server. The Food was very hot and Fresh Tasting. The NY Steak was so Juicy and Good. I'm pretty sure my wife and I got the best server in Round Rock. Within 30 seconds of sitting down, he brought our bread and asked if we knew whet we wanted to drink or if we needed more time. We ordered drinks, and they arrived promptly. We ordered dinner. Our salads came out super fast. A touch too much dressing for me and way too much dressing for the wife. She said she should have gotten the dressing on the side. My steak was perfect. My wife's steak was a little under cooked but not so bad that she wanted to send it back. My fired okara was perfect. She said her broccoli was good. The waiter's attentiveness, confidence, humor, and timing was perfect. I'm sure if something did go wrong, having been served by such a server would have made the unfavorable tolerable. We will go back. We recommend Round Rock LongHorn Steakhouse to everyone.

My family and I had dinner here tonight for the first time. The food was great the service was outstanding. Our waiter name was Jeannette. 👍👍 Fathers day. We had lunch. I had chopped steak and mashed potatoes with a salad, my wife had a burger and a salad. The place was packed with folks enjoying the day, the staff was great and the food was very good. Good overall experiece. The last few times we have eaten here, it reminds me of the Longhorn of old. Good food, good staff and a good atmosphere. 😃😃 Update.5/1/2022 We had the Texas Tonion for appetizer. I had a salad. I had Salmon with a baked potato. My wife had a strawberry salad with some shrimp from the wild west shrimp appetizer mixed in. This is her own making and she said it is very good. The waiter was great. All and all a good experience. I have written some negative reviews in the past. The last few times we have been here it has been like the Longhorn we used to be accustomed too. Good food and good service. The one thing they could bring back is a salad made with iceberg lettuce. Thier mixed green salad is ok and one of the managers said it was more colorfull. To me, I think there is nothing better than the iceberg lettuce. It is cold, crunchy and has a better taste. Also they could do a better presentation on thier salads. They aren't very eye appealing. Other than that, all is well. 😀😀Update: 12/31/2021 5:08 PM We stopped by for early dinner. Server Mariana was great. We both had chopped steak; salads and I had the house mac and cheese. Last but not least we both had garden salads. They were good and cold and the best part is Longhorn finally brought their thousand island Dressing back. 👍👍. Happy days are here again.

Excellent service, food, the sits are very comfortable. The only thing to be improved is to have second toilet in the men’s restroom, add a hook in the wall to hang your coat, and a toilet paper of higher quality.

Mmmmmm steaks! Friendly staff, clean and food done just right. Sometimes you gotta wait to be seated depending on certain days, but it's worth it. Still good every time I go, only thing they need to go easy on the salt on the fires and baked potatoes. Love my OUTLAW steak or the Longhorn steak.

The steaks were as delicious as always. However, we ordered all three of our steaks medium-well, and they each came out with different levels of doneness, which was a bit disappointing. But what truly saved the night was the exceptional service! Cody went above and beyond for our family. His bright smile and kindness made us feel so comfortable, and he always seemed to know exactly when we needed something. Despite the inconsistency with the steaks, Cody made sure we had a fantastic evening. We are incredibly grateful to him for such a pleasant dinner!

Myself and my family waited for a table for 40 minutes to be seated. We arrived at 1:30p on a Sunday the day after Valentine’s Day it seemed like everyone waited to celebrate then. Our food took 35 minutes to arrive and it was amazing!!! We ordered the Outlaw Ribeye Asparagus and house salad. The waitress was so nice and friendly!!! I would also recommend Longhorn Steakhouse!!!

I’m a vegetarian so take my review of a steakhouse with a grain of salt lol The vegetarian options are great here. We come back every few weeks because it’s one of my fave dining options in the area. I usually order the side salad with strawberries, the mac n cheese side, and the mushroom app (with a to-go box for all my leftovers!) Portions are very generous.

The restaurant appearance is good. Service is great. Everyone was well attended to. The shrimp appetizer had great flavor and there was a lot of it. The lobster tail was good. My only reservation would be the steak itself which while cooked correctly was not steakhouse quality.

I dine here quite often and have always rated them with 5 stars in all categories. Today was an exception. Service was not there. Apparently our waitress (Joslyn) must have been having a bad day. She was not very polite, in fact she was kind of gruff. If you are in customer service, leave your personal issues at the door, as your attitude will affect your gratuity (which it did).

I love longhorn steakhouse or that is what I would have said when talking about the longhorn steakhouse near me. This one was almost just as good except it had an hour wait. It isn't fair to dock a restaurant a star for their wait times but they were a bit misleading in what a wait list is. We called ahead 40 minutes earlier and they said that it would be 50 minutes but we were on the waitlist. When we got there 40 minutes later they told us that there was a 50 minute wait even though they found us on the list. I am still not clear what the point of the list was.

Good selection of steak, strawberry and pecan salad is great, good sides. Went at 5:30 Saturday night and were seated immediately. At end of our dinner there were lots of people waiting.

I've been to this location a couple of times and I'll be back again. I sit at the bar when I come here and the young lady who waited on me both times was very nice and attentive. I wish that I could remember her name because she is very good at her job. The food is good here just like at every other location. I definitely recommend this place.

I was in the mood for steak, so we went to Longhorn. We were seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly. We ordered drinks then food. Our food came in a timely manner. I ordered my steak medium but it was more like rare. I chose to not eat it and just took it home. I ordered a margarita before my food. I was almost done eating by the time the margarita showed up. Other than that, everything else was fine.

We wanted to relax with drinks this afternoon. Wine and mixed drinks. Pleased with low key atmosphere. We ordered chicken tortilla soup and baked potato. So good! Then the restaurant got busy. Servers, food runners, managers racing by but I couldn't seem to get more water. No luck. Finally got our server's attention and ordered water and dinner. Meanwhile, looking at the little table lamps, I wondered why they were there. The overhead lights are so fierce that I was waiting for the interrogation to start. Finally dinner came but before salad. Food runners took it back and brought the salad. Afterward the manager brought the meal and left. No "check your steak." It was medium, pink center, not medium rare with warm red center, like I ordered. But it was tender and so flavorful I did not return it. It was not my preference though. Fun time, with a few issues.

As you have probably noticed this is an extremely popular area of Texas. This Long Horn Steakhouse is very popular. The wait can be pretty lengthy for dinner. However, it is convenient that your small group can wait for an opening at the bar where they serve their full menu and you can watch the game. Our wait time was going to be about one hour so the three of us took a spot at the bar. The bartender was friendly and took good care of us. The only downside was that the bar was never wiped down between guests and our son accidentally knocked his water glass over and nobody ever cleaned it up while we were there finishing our meal. That was a little gross. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and spending time together after a long hard work week.

UPDATED: After writing this review Longhorn reached out to apologize for my experience and gave us a complimentary kids meals. Our order was great this time around. I did appreciate the follow-up! I ordered takeout from Longhorn Steakhouse in Round Rock for me and the kids. My daughter got the kids steak, but it turned out very tough, dry, and overcooked. She tried to eat it but couldn’t finish. It was disappointing since the rest of the food was fine. I’d just suggest the kitchen double-check to-go orders, especially kids’ meals, since you can’t send them back once you’re home.

I've been to this location a few times so far and I've found the food pretty good. The steak (with mushrooms and onions) was tender and delicious, the chicken parmesan was well prepared and the shrimp dish was 'top of the line'. The one drawback that I've noticed was that it seems that certain waitstaffers would prefer to be at home rather than at work. Customers shouldn't be able to discern that from your demeanor or interactions with them (certainly not if you expect a decent payoff at the end off their visit).

I ordered a steak that came slathered in so much seasoning it tasted like trying to chew a salt kick. When the waitress who was great, heard that she took it back but apparently the cook took that as no seasoning at all and sent it plane and not even seared properly. Not a great job. Well, I wanted to love it. The service was impeccable. No wait at all (nearly 6p on a Friday. The decor is cattleman. Refined rustic. Smooth finishes. Tasteful displays. The food… looked good. The house salad and the strawberry-pecan salad were both quite nice. The bread was tasty with a crispy crust. The rack of ribs tasted fabulous. classic fall-off-the bone goodness. The portion was so large we took half the rack home. The “crispy Brussels?” Flame-charred but difficult to find something that was not soggy. Left in the bottom of the dish was a pool of sauce beneath a pool of melted fat or oil. Hmmm. The Delmonico steak was their “best and most flavorful”. It was cooked perfectly to rare. It LOOKED perfect, except for the milky white globs on top. It was chewy-tough and flavorless. No seasoning either. It had pools of butter or fat on top (see the pic. I had quit eating it when I took the picture.) The teenage son commented “the Texas Roadhouse steaks are SO much better” and didn’t finish the Delmonica either (!). When he got out the ribs and polished them off they also had globs of fat on them that had been revealed by the two hours of refrigeration. There’s a theme here.

They ruined my birthday, my daughter steak was the wrong steak. Then they argued about it . They finally when and check our order and brought a next steak , my baked potato was still raw and my steak was over cooked, we need got our bread . We ordered 8 oz Renegade, Steakhouse Cheeseburger, Cowboy Porkchop, and 6 oz Filet. The steaks were cooked medium rare. The Renegade was a bit chewy and just ok. The Filet was good. The fried okra is prepared with the whole okra sliced in half length wise, breaded and fried with the stem attached. It seems like a good idea, but due to the larger piece it retains more oil from the fryer. The french fries with the burger are crispy and salted. The steakhouse mac and cheese is bit too soupy and we didn't like that very much. The strawberry lemonade is too sweet and tasted like they went heavy on the grenadine. We swapped it for a Dr. Pepper. The server was nice, but busy. Refills were not timely, but not neglectful.

This is the second time we have had awful food here. Very disappointed that was how much gristle and bone that was on the 20oz 30 dollar steak. My mashed potatoes were cold and sauce was very sweet on my chopped steak. Not going to be back. The waitress both times were very nice. Very sad that it is being ran this way.

Dined in yesterday evening and had a disappointing experience. Our server brought our drinks, no straws. We ordered pretty quickly as we already knew what we wanted. Food took a little while to come out but we were fine as the restaurant was a little busy. My fiancé finished his food before I did. Our server took his plate and returned back and asked us about dessert. I still had over half of my entree and both sides on my plate. A few minutes later, as I am still eating, our server dropped off our check and asked if we wanted our drinks to go. Referring to our empty glasses with melted ice. Again, I was still working on my meal. We took our time with the check so I could enjoy my food. Our server came back around and asked if we were ready with our payment. At that point, I had to tell her that I was still eating and we would pay when I finished. This was all within 10-15 minutes of our food being placed at our table. We never were offered refills or checked on by our server. We like Longhorn but will not be back to this location.

Not impressed. My steak had a rotten smell to it so sent it back. We also had 2 Longhorn steaks at our table. They were challenging to eat because they were pretty tough. And don't get the okra. My kids that inhale okra left it on their plates because it was still slimy. If you don't know how to cook okra, don't offer it. The server was a nice person but i think she is hard of hearing so we repeated ourselves a lot. To top it off, the pen didn't work. All in all, a pretty bad night.

The waitress was awesome, the dessert was great but the meal....tooooo salty that i couldn't even finish it! I had the country fried steak, I literally only ate the mac and cheese, as it was the only best tasting item I ordered. Thankfully I had the dessert to cancel out the salt from my meal.

This is the second time I have a bad experience in recent months. Went in for a late dinner and got seated around 9. We placed our order I would say within 10-15 mins of being seated and sat around until about 10 before out waiter finally came over to tell us the kitchen was still working on our food. We got our food at 10:18 so a whole hour after ordering. The waiter was apologetic and offered a free app or dessert, but that doesn’t change the fact that the service was ridiculously slow. Our waiter checked in on us more times in the last 15 mins we were there than the other hour we spent seated. Don’t waste your time and just go to Texas Roadhouse or another steakhouse

My ~$30 ribeye looks like something you'd get at Waffle House. Tasted like it, too. I ordered it medium rare (cool red center), but the steak it was pretty much medium well. Even worse, this was their second attempt - the first one arrived well done and was tough as leather. What's really crazy is that they didn't offer a discount or comp it. I had about 5 bites because I didn't eat lunch. The leftovers weren't worth a to-go box. My friend's 6oz renegade sirloin was also improperly prepared when they brought it to the table. They took it back and cooked it more and it was perfect. The rest of the meal (salads, bread, and potatoes) was great. As was the service. Unfortunately, we won't be back. Paying $30 for weirdly grey, poorly cut steak that looks like it came out of the clearance section at Randall's is just too absurd.

DO NOT go here if you want to have a pleasant meal. There was a group of parents with a group of young children who were making so much noise with their toys, phones, and yelling that it was impossible for me or my friend to hear each other and have a conversation. The constant screams would make you cringe. And the parents did nothing. I explained to the server that this was making it unpleasant for us and the other customers. She said she is not allowed to say anything to customers. I asked her if she wants customers to confront each other. Does she not care about our experience? She said she would get the manager. Same response from the manager. He said that corporate does not allow them to tell parents how to parent their children. I told him that I am asking him to ask them to lower their voices, nothing else. He said he can't do that, repeatedly. He asked if we wanted to move. I told him that we were not the people who should be inconvenienced in the middle of a meal because someone else is disturbing the peace and he, as a the manager, will do nothing about it. He simply said he cannot do anything about it. It's not that he can't; he won't do anything about it because he doesn't care. In effect, lousy customers are allowed to create all kinds of disturbances, so customers are forced to confront other customers in order to have a decent meal. We quickly finished our meal and left. These people DO NOT care about their customers. Never going to a Longhorn Steakhouse ever again.

I made a reservation one day in advance, and when I arrived at the place they did not honor it at the scheduled time and wanted to change it to two hours later. I am very disappointed

Came here to eat for dinner and I notice when I got up to use the bathroom there was gum stuck to my seat. The gum got on my dress and I made the server aware . She switch the seat and notified the manager. The manager did not once come over and say anything to me . My server did mentioned the manager told her I could get a free desert. However I felt like it was very unprofessional for the manager to not come over at all. I was appreciative of the desert but felt like I should’ve got a complimentary meal . Unfortunately the gin did not come out of my dress and is now in the trash. I know it’s not their fault for someone putting gum in the chair however when setting up the table it should have been caught if the employees were paying attention. Very grateful for my server she was awesome and kept checking in. Very dissatisfied with the manager.

Has really went downhill recently. Steaks are inconsistent on cooking and SUPER salty. Literally like it soaked in salt for hours before cooking. They don’t do much to make mistakes or poor quality up to you other then give you a free appetizer or desert next time you come in. Would probably avoid this location, they don’t seem to care much that their over priced steaks have become subpar.

I paid for ribeyes and it tasted OFF and was mildly tough . Was supposed to be a good date night but the best thing was the appetizer. Was my first and last time.

Pretty horrible experience today- our server had no idea about the menu or the bar menu. I got my sangria well after my dinner came, sat with empty drinks at the table our entire meal, and dirty dishes all over the table still when we left. No management present or rounding to express our concern. Rude staff everywhere 😢Very disappointed- DO NOT recommend this place at all

Date night with my husband. I ordered the chopped steak with salad and asparagus. As I was eating my salad, I got a mouthful of mud. I wasn’t able to see it because it was under the dressing. I had to go to restroom to purge and clean my mouth. The manager just said “ sorry that happened.” We won’t be going back there.
