I came to this restaurant on my birthday and the experience was simply wonderful. The atmosphere is amazing and the service made all the difference — I was assisted by Pedro, who is such a lovely person, very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely make a point of coming back more often!
The last time we had eaten at a RL was Raleigh, NC 2015. The visit left us with not wanting to visit another, carpets needed cleaning (sticky) and the odor was one that seemed to be from aging or lack of care. We ordered drinks, what we felt was a safe appetizer and left. Fast forward, with new leadership we decided to give the Round Rock location a try. RL was near bankruptcy, bought out by a PE firm who installed a new CEO. Walking in, we were impressed, the floors were immaculate, and the carpet was as it should be, no food or crumbs anywhere in the dining areas. There was not a crowd, it was 3.30pm on Wednesday, after lunch crowd and before dinner. Haley G was serving us and did an excellent job, good recommendations, prompt on bring food and checked on us the right amount of times, we did not feel crowded or left wanting attention. They start you with these delectably good biscuits and butter which we almost made a meal of. Next they came with our real starter, these very delicious stuff mushrooms -- excellent (I will use this word alot) and near the top of my list of all time favorites. I had the salmon with broccoli and rice. The salmon, cooked just right, not dry, moist and wonderfully tasty, the broccoli was excellent and the rice was good. I call it good because while it was warm, I felt it could have been warmer to match the temperature of the salmon or broccoli both I felt were at very good temperatures. NO ROOM FOR DESSERT. To cap off the day, Brendan (sp?, the front of house manager) and Fabianna, General Mgr. stopped by - nice touch. We talked about the changes in the CEO and leadership teams and the fact they can see the work paying off. We provided our input on the meal and the establishment (the cleanest restaurant I have been to in some time - no food on the floor, tables orderly etc. and very presentable staff). I feel good about its resurgence and we will certainly add this back to the list of go to places -- for now the Round Rock location for sure!!!
We came to celebrate a birthday, and we had a great experience. We had 12 in our party and were easily accommodated. We got the Monday special - lobster and shrimp - and the weekday shrimp trio - great bang for your buck. Our waiter, Fabian, was really attentive and brought all the cheddar bay biscuits we could eat 😆. He even brought out candles and sang with us when it was cake time.
Tried Red Lobster for the first time and it was a solid experience overall. We started with the famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits and honestly, they lived up to the hype. Warm, buttery, slightly garlicky. Way too easy to keep eating. Then we went all in on shrimp and tried the 5-variety platter. The garlic shrimp was really good, flavorful and cooked just right. Walt’s Favorite Shrimp is fried, and for me it was just okay. A bit too heavy and not as exciting as the others. The real highlight was the Lobsterfest boil. Everyone at the table loved it. The lobster was fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The salmon was too, too good. Soft, flaky, and packed with flavor. Definitely one of the best dishes we had. We also tried the Coastal Colada mocktail, and that was probably the only letdown. It looked nice but the taste didn’t really stand out. Overall, great ambiance, comfortable seating, and the service was attentive and friendly. For a first visit, it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re going for the lobster and salmon.

Ordered the Grilled Shrimp with Lobster and Salmon with a Mango Smoothie. We had also ordered Mozzarella sticks, Fries, Shrimp Linguine Alfredo. The food tasted amazing and the service was great! I love coming here when I crave for seafood LOL

We came for our son’s birthday and Fabian took such good care of us. Our cups were never empty and he was so quick with it. Definitely will be back just to see him. And the food of course. The seafood boils were amazing
Last night's dinner was nothing but the best! From the time my wife and I walked in, we received a welcoming experience. From the host at the door down to our waiter Jerry. Very friendly and genuinely just a cool waiter. We also spoke with the manager Giovani, whom was just as good as his staff. Due to previous experience at a different location...We recommend anyone to go to Red Lobster at Hester's Crossing, trust me you won't be disappointed at all. Last but not least the cook did his thang. Food was a 10/10...delicious!!
Request Trey!! He was sooo patient with my kiddos and self! He genuinely was the best server I’ve ever had anywhere! Not once did my kids have to ask for his help because he was already on it! That man is definitely a gem!! Thank you soo much for a wonderful experience and dinner! Oh and I can’t forget the wonderful host he was also a hoot! Definitely will be back!
Went with my girlfriend and we loved the food, their biscuits are always really tasty. We decided to try crab legs for the first time and our server Fabian was kind enough to show us how to open them. Great experience, will definitely be back!
Customer service was great, food came out seasoned and delicious. Haven’t had red lobster in a long time but didn’t disappoint. Freshly baked biscuits. Steak was also great not top tier but still good comparable to a Texas Roadhouse.
We had a fabulous time at red lobster ! We are both gluten free and brought our biscuits so we could still enjoy. Ash was a super sweet server and very quick to bring out our food. Our only concern was we let her know we were gluten free & needed help deciding on an appetizer. Unfortunately she was not experienced in the nutritional facts of the appetizers and suggested one that had gluten in it. My friend got severely sick overnight. I suppose we should have done our own research as well, so I am not fully blaming her, but I would recommend more training on gluten allergies and recommending food/appetizers to those with allergies in the future. Our crab was amazing and so were our drinks. We will be back, we will just keep a closer eye on the appetizers or food recommendations that have hidden gluten.
We tried something different this year, and had our Christmas Dinner at the Red Lobster in Round Rock, TX! Our experience with August was amazing! We sat at the bar for peek people watching…. August was attentive to ensuring we had everything we needed! The fresh biscuits were as delicious as I remember! Very pleasantly surprised at what an enjoyable evening we ended up having! We will absolutely be back!
Fabian was really awesome and attentive, the place was clean and everything came out hot, fresh, efficient, and it was a welcoming atmosphere and you can’t beat the $20 lobster and shrimp on Mondays! 🙌🏽
I wanted some shrimp and crab. I went to the Red Lobster in Round Rock. Wow! The food and service were excellent. The temperature of the food was amazing. I got the Mariners bowl. I was there last evening and again the next day for the same dish. Nicole was my server last evening. I asked for her again today. Her service was on point. Her hospitality was excellent. I will be back and for sure ask for Nicole to service my table. Thank you again Nicole. The picture doesn’t do the food justice…

Jeanette was absolutely amazing !!! Very attentive, energetic and listened. I love that she took the time to talk to us and asked about our likes and dislikes in our meals then made recommendations. Thank you for bringing someone on that cares about what they do.

Great experience for lunch. Willie was a great server. Took great care of us, suggesting option, making sure we had hot fresh food. We always love the cheddar biscuits. The unlimited soup and salad has fresh and flavorful. Crab legs were excellent. The portion was large, fresh and delicious. Glad we went and will definitely go back
Food was delicious, especially the shrimp scampi. Everything was fresh and served at a great temperature. Yoli was extremely friendly and our server was fantastic. She anticipated our needs and we never had to ask for anything because she was on top of it, very attentive! If I lived in this area I would definitely come back!

Obsessed. First time trying red lobster 🦞 and I have to say, although th crab was a bit tedious to break apart to get to the tiny leg meats, it was still good. Service was absolutely amazing! Can't remember last time I visited RL, but I'm glad we pivoted on a Friday night and just went for it.. Menu has changed a lot.. for the better.. cost is high, as expected, but that's ok because food was amazing so as service!
The food was delicious! I recommend the Lovster Bisque as a starter. If you're going alone, sitting around the bar is perfect. The bartender was attentive and friendly. The place could use a make Over, but it's cozy.

Came here one day this week to enjoy some lobster fest. Upon entering, we were not greeted, nor were we even acknowledged. Usually in this situations I would just turn around and leave, but I gave it a few minutes because lobster was on my mind. A gentleman approached us 5 minutes later and asked if we've been helped, and obviously we said "no sir". We were seated at a bench by the bar, where the same person who seemed to have been busy with tables from other areas, decided to take us on. However, we felt rushed and could feel the urgency to order fast. We haven't been there in a long long tine. I'm starting to believe we had been through this before is why we hadnt returned in a while. On top of that, everybody seemed to be more focused on the order pickups instead of serving the customer eating in. We were finally waited on and food was brought out. The food wasn't that hot but looked good. I felt I would be bothering the server. Our bill was a little over $80 but I still left a 30% tip. Should I give them a third chance? I'm just not sure that I want to go back.
Very rude server. Never brought biscuits or refills had to ask other server. When she did come by she would slam things down on the table. Never had this type of server experience at a Red Lobster before. The one thing I would like to mention is that you never see a manager at this location. The savings grace was the food was perfect and we enjoyed it. With the new CEO of Red Lobster trying his hardest to bring the chain back and doing a good job of it. I would like to say customer hospitality is a key component of success. Start with hospitality and the rest will work it's self out since we already know Red Lobster food is yummy.

Upon arrival for my pickup I waited about 3-4 minutes before being acknowledged by a worker. Tall guy with glasses asks for my name on the order, we provide him with the name . Instead of heading back into the restaurant he goes to a car for something . Heads inside and never return …. Very unprofessional furthermore a bit suspicious when dealing with food .
