Very nice and clean restaurant, very nice staff. They serve chips with a warm and a cold salsa with different flavors and both were really tasty. We had enchiladas and birria tacos and everything was excellent! We will definitely go there again. They also have a drive thru, we're looking forward to trying their breakfast tacos.

Tequila Bar is our favorite Mexican restaurant! Margaritas are the best around (can't beat extra 50% off on Mondays & Tuesdays) and the sauce they use for the enchiladas the best I've ever had (in particular the chipotle sauce). Also love that they serve one warm and one cold salsa with their chips. It's our go-to for a night out so give it a try, it might become yours too!

We’ve been coming here for YEARS. We always dine in the bar and it feels like family. I’m not sure what changed lately but the cold salsa has been AMAZING and the Menudo is the best I’ve ever had. We’ve never been disappointed in anything we’ve ordered. This place is home to us. Patti, Alex and Jose are the best.

Updated Review 5/23/24 We had beef enchiladas and a crispy taco. The salsa was exceptionally tasty and spicy. Tried the queso and it was a winner too. We really like this place. They take great care of their customers. Previous Review: Generous portions on the fajita lunch special. The beef fajitas could use more flavor. Pico de Gallo was excellent. Fresh avocado. Charro beans and rice were good. The salsa was reminiscent of chili powder, chips were good. Everyone was very friendly and the service was excellent.

Tequila Bar and Grill in Round Rock is hands down one of the best hidden gems in RR we have ever been to in the area. We were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere. The decor is vibrant and inviting, making you feel like you've been transported to a lively cantina in Mexico. But the real star of the show is the food. The menu is filled with authentic Mexican dishes that are bursting with flavor. I tried the Jalisco breakfast from the brunch menu and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the fajitas for one with frijoles charros, rice and corn tortillas. The meat on both was perfectly seasoned and cooked as if they had an abuelita in the kitchen. Overall, Tequila Bar and Grill is a must-visit for anyone visiting the Round Rock Texas area who loves Mexican food. The atmosphere, the food, and the drinks all come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. We will definitely be coming back again when we visit family in Texas.

The food was 50/50. Guacamole was not up to par. Very bland and without flavor. Queso seemed like it was from a jar off the shelf at HEB. Meat was good, chicken and steak. Corn chips and salsa great. If we go back, it will be strictly appetizers and drinks.

Honestly, I will just start out by saying that I had high hopes for this place. It is very convenient as far as distance but they have been letting me down in food and service the last few times I’ve been there. I’m pretty sure the visit this morning was the last time. My drive thru order was very simple - two breakfast tacos of potato and egg with a bacon strip. Not only do they not confirm your order with you but you are not able to find out if your order is correct until after they charge you and you get the order with the ticket on there. I don’t know why I gave them the benefit of the doubt that everything was fine since there was probably no one else there at the time so they weren’t super busy to make a mistake… Nonetheless I got my order, thanked them and drove off. However, upon getting home and looking at the ticket - I saw that they had rang in bacon and egg with bacon strips… seriously what? Who does that? That is too much bacon because they load up those tacos. In addition, the bacon strips were not even editable. I tried to chew them but ended spitting them out. They really need to do better. I’ve seen other complaints about similar things and I typically don’t leave long reviews like this but people need to be informed before they go. What bothers me the most is that they are very inconsistent with the food and service. If you want to try them, you have to make sure you figure out which day is a good day for them otherwise it might not be worth it.

The waitress, ‘Milly” was excellent. However, my fries were soggy and the fish didn’t taste fresh. It also seemed like old grease was used to fry the fish. We took a few bites and left.

I've been there 3 times, 2 were takeout and 1 was for lunch. They serve you well and they're fast. Last night I went was a disappointment. I won't be back. I ordered a grilled meat platter, and they served me 3 types of meat. I asked for a green sauce, and they told me they sell it! How are they going to sell you the sauce if you're already buying a grilled meat parrillada???

So to tell you honestly, the food was ok, the waitress was very friendly, but the ownership and the kitchen, terrible experience. We came in right at the end of breakfast, hoping to enjoy a late breakfast, came in at 10:58am. By the time they sat us, gave us chips and salsa, and ordered, it was 11:06. Now the menu does say, serving breakfast until 11 and there's a sign outside saying that too, plus it was very dead inside, we were hoping for breakfast....nope! They wouldn't do it and we ended up having a so so lunch, but nothing either one of us was in the mood for and vowed never to return until they fix the kitchen nazis in the back. Very bad experience and very negative vibes plus the food wasn't that great either.
