We stayed just one night... on December 31st... A gem...in fact, it's not your average hotel... But a period villa whose period escapes me!!! But as soon as you enter, the warmth and history are enveloping!!! Consequently, even the rooms are cared for down to the smallest details.... Add to that the friendliness of the staff!! And the stay...even if short, is extremely pleasant!!! Thank you!!

Il ristorante di questo albergo è ottimo! Lo chef Andrea è bravo, usa prodotti di buona qualità ed è anche molto gentile e disponibile a piccole variazioni del menù se c’è qualche esigenza particolare. A lui 5 stelle!! La struttura ha ancora bisogno di qualche intervento ma il personale tutto è così gentile e disponibile che fa dimenticare il resto. Io e la mia famiglia l’abbiamo scelto tutte le volte che siamo stati a Rovigo. Grazie a Mara e Viola della reception e ad Alessandra e Monica al Ristorante.

Albergo dall' aspetto e dal clima vintage, che non vuol dire vecchio ma solamente che si ispira a stili ed arredamenti di un'epoca, pulito, silenzioso e dove il personale è di una gentilezza estrema. Ci ho dormito alla grande diverse volte prenotato dalla società per cui lavoro e nonostante la colazione non fosse inclusa nella nostra prenotazione il personale ci ha invitato al bancone offrendoci vari dolci e cappuccino e caffè. Per pranzo e cena non posso dire nulla in quanto per noi si trattava di pernotto dopo una tratta. Ci tornerei se dovessi capitare da quelle parti per piacere. Complimenti, lo consiglio

The hotel has a slightly retro charm and is undoubtedly scenic. The staff is extremely friendly. The location is excellent. The breakfast is good. However, I think the building needs some modernization, such as removing the carpeting, which I personally don't like.

Hotel comodo al centro in un bel palazzo di inizio '900. Personale gentile e disponibile però da un hotel 4 stelle ci si aspetta un servizio in camera adeguato, una doccia con un getto decente, acqua calda e non tiepida anche il giorno successivo alla segnalazione alla reception e se ancora si usa la moquette che non sia così datata. Buona la cucina del ristorante però con limitata scelta di piatti, mancanza dei prezzi sul menù e scarsa professionalità della cameriera nel servire il vino perché dopo averlo versato per l'assaggio e averne ottenuto il gradimento, se ne è andata senza versarlo agli altri commensali e all'assaggiatore. Peccato

Excellent location. Good service. The rooms are showing their age, especially the bathrooms. In a property like this, you wouldn't expect to have to hold the showerhead with your hand because you can't hang it.

Villa Regina Margherita has great potential that will need to be developed over time. First of all, it's a beautiful Art Nouveau villa, with parking (€10 per day) and a garden. The entrance is truly pleasant, with the reception, bar, and several sofas with tea tables. The highlight is the dining and dinner room, with chef Andrea's fabulous cuisine (it's truly worth it). Unfortunately, the flaws are in the rooms. The furniture is very old (from the 1970s?), with carpeting on the floors and wallpaper on the walls. The bathroom fixtures were definitely replaced a few years ago, but the shower has some issues, especially with the showerhead and water pressure. The cleanliness in the rooms isn't the best, and the blankets in our closet didn't seem to smell fresh... There's definitely a lot of work to be done in these rooms, because the property, with its extremely kind and attentive staff, truly deserves it. Kindness often makes us overlook some flaws, but even so, we must acknowledge these shortcomings, especially when we own a facility with great potential for improvement.

L'hotel si presenta discretamente bene ed il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Esperienza tuttavia poco soddisfacente in quanto le camere sono assai costose rispetto ai servizi offerti: in un soggiorno di due notti e tre giorni, non abbiamo avuto il servizio di rifacimento camera e sostituzione asciugamani in bagno ad esempio. Colazione continentale ben curata e fornita. Menù ristorante molto esiguo, con scelta molto limitata nei piatti. Complessivamente, un 4 stelle sulla teoria, 2 stelle nella realtà.

I only had experience with the restaurant. The dishes were well-presented, but the food itself wasn't entirely satisfying, and the lemon sorbet at the end of the meal was awful. The table service left much to be desired. For what we ate, the price was too high.

Friendly and helpful staff Excellent location But a nightmare night, the air conditioning didn't work, I had to hunt for bedbugs (I didn't take any photos), but the bathroom was... I'll leave it up to you to decide if it's a four-star hotel.

Wise to Survive

Pictures looks great but is not as great in person. Unfortunate they overcharge no honest price for what they provide as accommodation.

Mai più. Camera minuscola con arredi datati e malandati. Bagno non funzionante e non pulito. Ottima posizione. Personale pessimo, non hai la libertà di invitare una persona esterna e chiedono a quest'ultima di andarsene all'orario che dicono loro e soprattutto non puoi rientrare tardi perché non hanno voglia di aspettarti. Non è un hotel a 4 stelle.

L'hotel presenta 4 stelle ma non so come abbiano potuto assegnargliele. II bagno non ha finestre né aspiratore , la vasca è priva di antiscivolo e il telefono della doccia quasi inutilizzabile perché l'acqua fuorisciva dal tubo bucato anziché dalla cipolla. L'impianto di aria condizionata rumoroso come quelli di quarant'anni fa e non regolabile . La stanza è priva di apparecchio telefonico, di una TV funzionante e gli arredi sono molto rovinati.

As I already reported to the receptionist on the evening of December 30th, I would like to leave a negative review for my stay from December 27th to 31st in room 107. As the attached photos demonstrate, the room lacked the necessary hygiene measures for a stay. The photos were taken on the first day, so I can imagine how much dust was added to the existing one in the following days. The wall on the right, as you enter, had blood stains from mosquitoes that had committed suicide, black shoe prints, and only one hanging picture (perhaps the other two had been taken as souvenirs). The smell was of mold or smoke. There was a bottle of air freshener hidden behind the TV, dried out who knows how many months ago. Stained lampshades, dust on the floor, in the closets, and on the switches. We, who asked to have breakfast at 7:00 a.m., were offered the previous day's pastries again; the fresh ones were baked later. Is this a 4-star hotel? Is this the thank you for those who pay in advance through Booking.com? After reporting it verbally the night before departure, I would have expected to find at least a panettone and a bottle of sparkling wine on the breakfast table, but on the last morning, I still found the previous day's croissants. I also sent an email to report the problem, but received no response.
