I got an iced caramel latte & the strawberry guava pop tart. Both items were fantastic, delicious & came out quickly after ordering. I will say this will definitely be a once in a blue moon type of treat since it is a little more on the expensive side. That said I do believe the quality is totally worth it the pastry was filling & the coffee delicious!
Funky little place. Very good cortado and Turkish latte! Yes, the customer service could improve.
This place is a cute little spot! Amazing customer service, very fast, and wowwwww what a wonderful matcha! 🤩 love love love this place! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back! 💗
This is more than a coffee shop. The open doors and friendly service create a warm and welcoming environment that gives you a sense of community and belonging in an unexpected place. Somehow the food and coffee are even more delicious than they look. We had an Iced London Fog, an Iced Vanilla Latte, the Ham and Cheese Quiche, and a Banana Muffin. The star of the show was the quiche, while it did take a bit to heat up, the taste was well worth the wait.
I can’t not even begin to exclaim how excited I am to have a legit coffee shop somewhat close to me—and this is certainly legit coffee. From the modern simplicity of the building simply letting one know coffee is to be found here to the straight forward menu, this place is just great. On my inaugural trip I ordered a cappucino to go and called it a day. I will lost certainly be back with my husband or with girlfriends in the future. I want to sit and enjoy coffee and a pastry. They have homemade pop tarts and emporium pies and scones. The main menu is super straight forward. A list of beverages sold. There’s a more detailed list on a paper menu on the counter. This is the only coffee house in at least a 2-3 city radius that serves espresso drinks in a proper 8oz cup. As an avid cap drinker, this is so refreshing. To be able to walk in and order a cappuccino without being asked what size (which usually means the smallest is 12oz which is too big) is so refreshing. I can’t wait to come back and may have to make special trips across the bridge just for these amazing cappuccinos with perfect foam. My only “tip” from a consumer perspective that appreciates getting that perfect pic: leave the lid off so it doesn’t ruin the pretty latte art. 😊
Adorable spot with delicious coffee - the espresso is excellent and comes through! The staff we met were lovely. Will certainly keep coming back. It is a small but mighty coffeeshop and set up decently for remote work given the availability of tables and outlets. What a gem.
Oh my heart, the lavender latte was exactly what I needed today. Cute little shop with great coffee. They have a lovely area to sit outside, too. They offer a walk-up window ("don't forget to knock!") if you're just swinging by. Staff was super friendly and it just was a nice place to slow down and enjoy the day. Will definitely be visiting again soon! ☕
We have LOVED LaCasita pastries for years and are so happy they have opened closer to Rockwall! Such a great place to just hang out and chill. Super cool vibe. Outside seating in front and covered patio in back. My new favorite place to hang out and people watch!
Such a cute place! They make all of their flavor drinks in house, so you don’t have to worry about all the added sugars. Was super excited to hear that their pumpkin spice is made in house! That’s a rare find!! Got a pumpkin spice latte and it was soooo good 😋
Tried a few items, and they were all delicious! We especially loved the pecan monkey bread and almond croissant. We also got the Turkish latte, which had a really unique and yummy cardamom flavor.
Quite different from other coffee shops and the ambience inside is surprisingly positive and green'ish. Their customer service was warm and coffee was great.
Super nice place and had amazing Turkish coffee, we also had the Chirro Croffin, it was delicious! I can't wait to come with my son to try the seasonal drinks. I make my sourdough bread, however, I could not resist getting one bread from here, and it was delicious.
Just got a delicious latte from this new local coffee shop. I'm excited that Rowlett has a place like this on the square. It's pretty small, but it's a nice, cozy and modern interior with a couch and a few games. The menu is simple but you can customize your drinks with different milks and syrups. Everyone was friendly and my drink came out quick! I'll definitely be coming back soon!
Cute local coffee shop, friendly folks and tasty treats. I had the monkey bread and the spiced chai latte, but they have plenty of other great options too! Would recommend for someone looking for a cozy place to have a snack and read a book in Rowlett.

10 out of 10! Highly recommend for delicious pastries and an excellent oat milk latte with Turkish syrup. Skip the chain coffee shop and drink locally. Will definitely be back!
The matcha was ok. I would definitely just stick to coffee here. The vibes are nice but be careful because whatever espresso they use is strong lol I was jittery. Cafe de olla is a 10
Went there really early on a Friday morning. Only had a coffee as the Pastries were not ready . Coffee was great and potent. The lady there was really nice too. Will definitely be back
Overall, I would recommend this place. We tried 4 of their drinks: The Abuelito Mocha, The Cherry Blossom Latte, Iced Coffee with Vanilla, and an Americano. The drinks were enjoyable, but the specialty drinks didn’t provide as much flavor as expected. We also tried their ham and cheese croissants which were fine. The atmosphere is cozy and the staph were really friendly!
For my first visit I tried a 16 oz gingerbread latte. Really exceptional flavor. For the rare decaf lover like me, it’s worth noting that they charge a .50 upcharge for decaf. I was told it’s because it takes them a while to sell decaf… Also my hot coffee was served warm (at best). Next time I will stipulate extra hot and hopefully that will remedy the issue. Their pastries look lovely, and I look forward to trying one on my next visit.

La Casita is a lovely little coffee shop off the beaten path in Rowlett, with outrageously delicious pastries. I ordered a cortado, 2 oz of espresso with 2 oz of steamed milk and it was possibly the best I've ever tasted. My daughter had the latte and chocolate croissant both equally divine. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was we found their customer service to be quite arbitrary. There were pastries on a tray that were not in the front case. We asked about several and the woman who served us gave a brief description and said we could not buy them because they weren't in the front case. We accepted the answer and sat down. Two other customers came in after us and asked about the pastries on the tray, she gave a description and she asked if they wanted them and we watched as she sold them the pastries off the tray, as well as another customer who walked in behind them. We didn't say anything about it and as we were leaving I decided to purchase a loaf of gorgeous sourdough bread and English muffins. She rang up my purchase and charged me tax on both items. I said there must be a mistake there is no tax on bread or English muffins, other prepared pastries yes, but never bread. She then told me they came from a larger bakery and that is the reason why I was taxed. I paid for my breads and left. Will I go back maybe or I might just go to what she called the big bakery-La Casita in Richardson.

Coffee here has always been pretty good, however it is a bit expensive. I understand this is a small shop, but being almost $10 for a cold brew with oat milk after tip is a bit much. I live walking distance from this place and will swing through on occasion with my partner, but I'll probably stop coming altogether mostly because one of the staff always has a weird attitude toward me for some reason (white girl with sleeves; today she was wearing a Guinness hat). As someone who has worked many years as a bartender, it's understandable that customers can be annoying, but I'm always polite, order something simple, and ALWAYS tip. It's just not worth paying what I feel is on the expensive side when the staff just isn't kind. To be fair, it's not all staff. The girl with the red hair has been very nice every time I've come in.
