Opinions de Bento Revolving Sushi Sacramento County
Really nice restaurant and amazing staff above and beyond kind of vibes the owner himself came out to apologize for the time waiting for the sushi on the conveyor belt next time I’ll opted for closer seating where the food comes out first so you don’t have to wait as long in case not much chef are working. Very accommodating place would come agian ! The chef allowed two rolls of choice in apologies to the longer wait due to chef shortage which is understandable as it is still scary with the COVID. Check them out ! 15.00 all you can eat price then there’s a choice of simple menu where it actually slides to you on top of the conveyor belt super cool & effective ! I recommend chef tommy lee! Special roll like my picture here you won’t be dissatisfied!!! Quick response and customer service here. Stay safe and blessings !!
We really enjoy Bento Revolving Sushi. Their opinions that are on the belt are all really good. Also having a menu that you can order from is nice. My daughter is 6 and loves sushi. Since coming here she has gone out of her comfort zone and tried new things. It is a casual atmosphere and great for families.
We had been waiting for Bento to open and we are glad it's here now! It was everything I hoped! I felt like I was back in Japan! It was my birthday and they were very nice and treated me to a beautiful plate of fruit with candles and all. The fish is really good quality, we are definitely coming back!
I'm not from the area, but this is hands down the best conveyor belt sushi I have ever had. The rolls are unique and made with a large array of ingredients! My favorite was the Nalla roll! I've had fruit dessert rolls before, but never a citrus fruit on a regular sushi roll; it was delicious. Honestly tied for the favorite is also mt. Hamachi. I wanted to only eat these two for the rest of my days.
My wife and I enjoy going to Bento. The sushi boats are tasty. We've tried the udon and many of the rolls. We keep coming back. Prices are reasonable and the service is excellent! Highly recommend.
Loved our first visit here. My husband and I both got bento boxes and our niece got a roll and gyoza. The food was so fresh and tasty. I got the short ribs and chicken teriyaki. The short ribs were so tender and flavorful. Some of the best I've had. We loved the revolving sushi and little plates. We enjoyed the mochi and macarons. Everyone was so friendly. The chef came out to greet us and chat with us. We really loved the experience and food. We will definitely be back. Editing to add we have now been back several times and the food quality continues to be at its peak. This is our new favorite place.
One of my favorite places! I love the revolving sushi, and the way your kitchen orders are delivered on a little trolley! The service is always really good, and the drink selection is vast.
This sushi restaurant was absolutely excellent. I decided to go for the “all you can eat” experience and I was not disappointed. I did not like the iPad service, but Nya was super helpful! She took my order and gave great recommendations while having a wonderful attitude. The portions seem to be smalls if you order rolls off of the all you can eat menu, but I think this is a good thing because it allows you to explore more of the menu for the same fixed price. The ambiance was great, families brought their children and few couples came in to dine. The back of the house seemed to have good attitudes while they worked. The chefs brought their A game. I tried a roll that had smoked salmon, hot sauce and a little bbq sauce? It was very delicious and I think even those who do not typically like fish or sushi would enjoy the piano roll. Some of the food traveling around the room seemed to overstay its welcome, however Nya made it very easy to order fresh rolls straight from the kitchen for no extra cost.
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this spot a year ago, and currently frequent it often! The food and service is great with a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend this great restaurant.
A friend posted and I was very excited to try. Plates range from $2-5 or you can get the all you can eat option. My hubby and I went with all you can eat and grabbed plates of the revolving rail and I ordered ahi poke. It was some of the best poke. The staff was super friendly, explained how everything works and other staff members would walk by and give recommendations which were delicious. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely cannot wait until I can visit again.
Delicious! The waitress in the evening is so sweet I didn’t catch her name. Long dark hair. Junior I think is a manager he’s so nice also. We have been there a couple times now and will continue to go back. The lady in the back we overheard her being a little sassy but maybe that’s her personality type. Ide suggest if someone isn’t doing something correctly being a little quieter when reprimanding because your customers can overhear you speaking. The food is absolutely delicious.
Sushi was fresh. Family of 5 but 1 is a baby. We ordered all you can eat because our girls can eat a lot sushi. We did the math and it was the better option then paying per roll. The girls love grabbing items off the belt. Service went above and beyond. Clean place. And really big. Can’t wait to go back! * If you get all you can eat, I’d order the nigiri but not the rolls only because the rolls are so big. The rolls that you order from the server will come out as full size rolls and not tiny ones like on the belt. I wish someone would have warned us 😆 but all good! It was a yummy surprise!
Very interesting idea with moving plates. I tried a couple from this tape. Very professional staff, kind, responsive. The restaurant is clean and cozy, calm and has a huge menu. I liked everything from the reception of guests to the bill. I would like more seafood on the tape to see and want to try. Special thanks for the fact that the restaurant does not have any kitchen smells. And despite the fact that the kitchen is huge, and the cooks cook, fry constantly, there are no smells from the kitchen. For me, this is critically important in evaluating a restaurant. I definitely recommend it, I will come again.
Great food, service, and atmosphere serves as a foundation to any restaurant. Beneto’s Revolving Sushi went above and beyond for their customer service and exquisite culinary. Moreover, inside the restaurant, a sense of inspiration and diligence can be felt as servers such as Anjun greet your presence like a friend or family member. Above all, Beneto’s is a wonderful place to eat with family, friends, or if dining for oneself. Notes/Comments: -Thank you for making my first experience of trying sushi uniquely delicious and equally delectable. I had to come back a second time to take pictures and try the food again. -To anyone who may read this review, I recommend the Smoked Salmon and Gyoza as your first dishes. IT IS TO DIE FOR! Anjun will help you as you decide on what to order. Apart from her amazing personality, she will make sure you are always comfortable to eat. I will undoubtedly come back again!
Johnathan was an awesome server! Delicious, fresh food. Highly recommend the Miso, Lion King, and the Bento Box with the Korean.
This nice hidden gem tucked away in fair oaks and worth a visit. Atmosphere: the seating is very quaint and designed for parties of four. If you have a fifth person they are going to sit on the outside. The hostess was very informative and ready to help Food: the rotation belt is awesome and a sight to see. You can order al carte from the menu or all you can. We did both! They are plated with signs to show each roll coming up. The al carte was cool. The waiter does not bring out your food. They send it on a conveyor belt! Kitchen to the customer! I think it has a hygienic feel to this concept and not having too many hands touch the plate. I recommend this place. Stop on in for a bite!
Not too busy. Very comfortable seating and very prompt service. Comprehensive menu and food is fresh and tasty. We would certainly visit again
Love this place! I’ve been to a few other revolving sushi locations in LA, so I was extremely excited that one opened up near my house. This is honestly one of the best revolving sushi locations I’ve been to, the staff are very friendly and the food is delicious as well as reasonably priced. The interior design is very pleasing as well, and I can’t seem to figure out how the sushi is actually revolving. 10/10 would recommend.
This place is great, no frills, just great service and great food. The revolving sushi is fantastic as well. Just grab what you want and get charged based on the color of your plate.
Great customer service! The owner greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. He gave us a lot of tips to get the most for our money that we paid for all you can eat. Your plates comes to your table and the food was delicious.
Stopped in for the first time to try out Bento Revolving Sushi. When we arrived we noticed that they had an offer up for All You Can Eat for $38 bucks, but this is only available during a certain time frame. When we entered, we didn't have to wait for a table and we were immediately seated. Since we weren't familiar with the AYCE deal at Bento's we asked about it. Our super friendly waitress provided us with all of the details. Bento's does full sized rolls unlike other AYCE places which only give you half a roll. After getting acquainted with the menu and getting drinks, we placed for first orders. Didn't take long for the food to show up. I really enjoyed the Baked Lobster and the Paradise rolls. I also really enjoyed the salmon from their sashimi plate, but there is a limit of 9 pieces of sashimi for those doing the AYCE, per person at your table. For dessert we both had the Mocha Cheesecake which was a amazing on its own and placed beautifully. Long story short, if you haven't tried Bento's Revolving Sushi, do yourself a favor and stop in.

Family and I go her regularly. Food is fantastic. One of the few places you can have your table full of food before drinks come from server.
Visiting from socal and found this gem! Had to go both nights we were in town because my kids and husband loved the food! Ayce is a good choice if you are really hungry. Second night we weren't as hungry so kids had chicken teriyaki and adults had bibimbap and the yellowstone roll~ everything we tried was really good! great prices, great food and great service! Will definitely be back whenever we visit!
Fantastic First Visit & Incredible Value! We had a fantastic dinner here tonight with a group of three. It was our first time visiting, and our server was wonderful—they took the time to explain exactly how the revolving sushi worked and patiently answered all of our questions. The Food & Value: Our total was under $120 for three people, which is incredible value. A heads-up for future diners: the Bento & Ramen portions are generous! We definitely over-ordered; while the Honey Chicken bento, Tofu Teriyaki bento, and Japanese Ramen were all amazing, we had to ask for boxes to take them home. Next time, we’ll probably order one or two fewer entrees to save more room for the belt! The Revolving Sushi: The sushi belt was the highlight. Plates are typically $2.50(yellow plates), $3.50(red plates), or $4.50(green plates) and most come with 3 pieces, which is a great deal. We tried: The Godfather & Heart Attack — These were the stars of the show; we had to get two plates of each! Snowstorm, New York, and Seared Tuna — All were fresh and delicious. Macaroons — A perfect sweet finish (2 per plate). Between the attentive service and the delicious food, we’ve definitely found a new favorite spot. We’ll be back!
I loved this place!!! It's small so it's not loud. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and fun!! I will definitely be back!!
Love this place. Very tasty. Would recommend. I get the blue hurricane, gyoza, bbq albacore and garlic butter edamame.
This place is great! It all tastes good and ita fun to self serve. There is a rail delivery system for special orders. That's fun too
Me and my son love coming for the revolving sushi! Always delicious and fresh. Excellent service every time we come.

Interesting concept but not really my cup of tea. Conveyer belt of sushi has color coded plates for price so you definitely know what you are spending. Also each table has an iPad you can order from. We liked that because you don't have to wait for your waiter or turn her or him away if your not ready to order. The food was good and the atmosphere is very casual. We did have to ask for wasabi and they never came when we used the iPad to request a server so we could pay the bill. We weren’t in a hurry and somebody came be to ask if we needed anything. Overall we appreciated the novel approach, they have it been open long and it seams like the are still refining there processes.
This is our second time at Bento sushi. I can't give it a full 5 stars because of the service and the sushi rice in all the sushi items. No doubt the fish was fresh. We did the AYCE option and we were definitely full after the entire meal. What I enjoyed: the Salmon sushi was really good. I also enjoyed the sesame balls for dessert. What I didn't : Honestly, the sushi rice had too much vinegar that it kills the flavor of the sushi. It was a bummer cause at the beginning things were great and then maybe 3 rounds of the revolving thing, it just was a bad batch of too much vinegar that I couldn't enjoy the AYCE idea. They had some fried things like gyoza but because they have a cover, by the time the item gets to you, it's no longer crunchy. Service was meh. The first time we were there it was great! Server was attentive, this time, dinner on Saturday, they just were not even offering water or anything. I wanted to love the place because who doesn't enjoy AYCE sushi but it just wasn't great. Hope they improve!:)
We visited the restaurant couple months ago on the weekend and the belt started at noon. However, the sushi belt is now on for dinner only. The service was friendly and good. - california sushi: good - my kid liked it & devoured it. The filling (imitation crab) & avocado were lots and the rice layer was in good portion. - popcorn chicken bento: the chicken pieces were crispy, juicy & flavorful. The portion was quite generous. The salad was just ok.
Good food, love a revolving sushi joint. Nothing particularly special, but the servers are fantastic and on their game. Only gripe is that the revolving system has a pretty long gap in it, but it's hard to argue for the kitchen filling it with food when only half of the restaurant is being used.
Great experience eating their all you can eat and trying most of the dishes here, especially with the revolving food belt they have. The only thing that I think can be better is the service. Our young sever was irritated and seemed to have an attitude when we had asked him to pick up the empty food plates we had taken from the revolving belt to make room for us. He didn't refill our waters at all and took long to come check up on us even though they weren't that busy. But, overall food and experience eating here was good.
First time here. Tried the all you can eat for $38 and thought that was a bit pricey but wanted to try something new. Confused why the rice had a purple tint to it. But all the rolls we tried were good. Everything tasted fresh and not over cooked. Really enjoyed the ebi and baked lobster roll was our favorite. Wanted to order more but our waiter wasn't really coming to our table had us waiting to order more. Store was clean and not busy when we went st lunch time. Will return
Bento in Fair Oaks is a real roller coaster of flavors! Korean short ribs so good, you'll be back for more. Jalapeño bombs with just the right amount of creaminess and heat - awesome!! Spicy edamame giving your taste buds a thrill ride? Yes please! And this Lion King roll will have you roaring: it's served baked in foil with cheese... ah-may-zing! Plus they've got lobster rolls fit for royalty – huge & delicious. The only thing keeping Bento from getting 5 stars was that their revolving sushi bar wasn't running when we visited… But once it's up and running again, prepare yourself to buckle up 'cause these tasty treats won’t stay on the belt long enough to get by without trying them all!!!

My husband and I live this place. The food is great and has a lot of variety for rolls. They do need more nigiri options. But staff is great and this is our go to spot for sushi.
Rolls were amazing! The downfall was the witer/host. When we had questions, he struggled to explain things clearly. If he was new, then the training he got was not good. The main lady in the back was super nice and offer my 7 month old yogurt which was nice! We will come back!

First The Good: The rolls we ordered were great! the bento boxes were good and and the staff are very nice. The Not So Good: What make this place unique, the food on the rotation and iPad at the table, fall short. We tried potstickers and two other small items off the food rotating slider. Those food items were at room temp and we had the same thought next. Roulette with sushi, how long had my food been rotating around. Next iPad at the table. Pro: you can alert staff without looking like you’re trying to wave down a New York taxi. Con: everything is done through the iPad and It is fixed to the back of the table were the condiments go. I was sitting nearest to and I was with some older folks and and after taking and entering everyone’s order I felt I deserved a cut of the tip. And a massage the iPad really should at least tilt.
This place has some really great sushi, but the service was terrible. I was absolutely offended by the waitress in this place. We used the digital menu for the revolving sushi to get the sushi and the waitress said "you know that this is not all you can eat right" after eating loads amount of sushi and my friend told her that we know. Like there was 3 pieces of sushi per plate and to me it was not that much. Not only were there 3 per plate, but also the fact we ordered a lot we might not have gotten our full order. It was dissappointing. The waitress had mentioned that we were eating a lot of it. I did not eat breakfast and same for my friend we both were really hungry and basically the waitress gave this message indirectly that we were fat. I disliked her a lot for offending me and my friend when both of us are not overweight. When we ordered dessert, which was really sweet like super sweet, the waitress gave us a giant size in one big bowl and said it was for 2 servings, but made for 4 people. I did not tip her at all. I don't recommend eating here at all. The sushi was delicious but sitting there with comments that were offensive was not okay.
Food was decent. Won't make any substitutions, their words its to hard. Service is slow and unreliable. They are fairly nice people, but not overly. I would try it again, maybe it was a bad day. Revolving sushi was broken when we were there.
Went for lunch and was hoping for the revolving part of the atmosphere but was told that didn't start until 5pm. I never saw a sign stating that. I will say the Crunchy Popcorn Chicken was excellent and there were a lot of different sushi rolls to decide from. The lady that brought my to go order was very sweet and very appreciative that we were there. I think she might have been an owner maybe? I would go again maybe after 5pm though

Omg no!!!! What happened to this place!? We have been going here for quite some time and really loved the food, the people that work there, and a nice upbeat atmosphere. No complaints before. But the last few times were totally off-putting. Firstly, I noticed on both visits the nice lady in the back that always smiles and waves to us was not there. Second our rolls were not the same quality both times. Like something was off. Chili oil and tasty pizzazz and flare that made these rolls Soo good, were gone this time round. My wife's bento box came out before the rolls which was fine. But she was almost more than halfway through, I figured ok low staff I get it, it's ok. Then the waitress asked if I'd like anything else and I thought are you kidding me? Unless I ate the plates they would have come on, no of course I didn't get the rolls lol. Then she talked to someone in the kitchen but they looked confused and were whispering like it was the waitresses fault and I said look right here, we ordered right here in the tablet, they said something about it being a take out order? I said the bento and the sushi were ordered at the same time, look if you haven't made them, cancel the order and bring me the check when my wife's done with her dinner. She said oh, yah they started making them. So I sat back down. And by the time my wife was finished with her dinner the rolls arrived. I had to search for a napkin and no attempt by waitress to refill drinks etc. And the salmon teriyaki was off this time around. Things were changing and not consistent these last few visits. Super sad. Hoping the service, quality, purple sushi rice and flavors come back to life, and of course our favorite happy greeting lady in the kitchen. We will still try and give it a go soon. Just can't give up on Bento just yet.
Brought family for birthday thinking it was revolving sushi, like company name states. Was told they don’t…no problem we will find somewhere else. Birthday child wants to use bathroom and waitress says NO. True story. We were planning on spending our hard earned money there and they won’t let a 16 year old girl use bathroom. They don’t want want to serve community…only take your money. Spend your money other community restaurants.
I really wanna like this place but unfortunately after a failed DoorDash order I took it back for them to remake. They remade it wrong again and they added nasty stinky pieces of fish on top of one of my rolls. This was supposed to be a Yellowstone roll by the way. No tempura, that I asked them to remove. The host was really nice though, maybe they should put her in the kitchen!
They allowed a random door dasher to steal my food and than tells me they will remake the food and than 5 minutes later tells me they are to busy. Apparently to busy to make my order and ensure that people are not stealing in there restaurant. Will not be purchasing food from here again.
Boyfriend and I tried Bento off of Madison Ave for the first time last night. Came in at least and hour before closing. We wanted to try to revolving sushi and were not told that they stopped making new sushi because the traffic was dying down. We were told with half an hour before they closed so we put 2-half orders of sushi and chicken. With about 10 minutes left before they closed, we were told our chicken order was not put in. So we just bought what we ate and left. Sushi was so-so. Used a lot of sauce. Not sure I would go back. Wish the waiters would have explained more about the sushi not being made as we would have just ordered to go. Also appreciate that they were apologetic, but we felt like we wasted our time with waiting on food that wasn't even being made.
