Opinions de Baan Noodles And Rice Sacramento
I had the boat noodles and the Thai coffee. Both were very good in my opinion. Although this dish had blanched bean sprouts, it also came with fresh bean sprouts and veggies. It's one of the better tasting boat noodles I've had. The dried crushed thai peppers have a delicious smokey flavor and its aroma is very pleasant. Thank you for good service and good food. I will definitely come back amd eat again.
Very tasty food. It came out fast. Everything I had was tasty, the pork skewer was good but compared to the other dishes I had it wasn't on par that being said it was still a good overall appetizer. Red curry was nice and flavorful. Would of liked more meat lol and the crab fried rice was good as well again I would have liked more crab meat but good overall and a place I will be back too.
I don't know why I didn't know about this excellent Thai restaurant earlier. I discovered Baan Noodle & Rice a little over a month ago after they had been open for two years. Baan Noodle & Rice has the best customer service compared to any Asian restaurant. The gentleman who handles the dining room does an outstanding job. He is friendly, polite, and warm hospitality. Their noodle soups are delicious. I tried three different noodle soups so far, and they were all very tasty. The appetizers are very yummy, too. Baan Noodle & Rice is on my top dine-in and to-go list now.
First time eating at this place and I will be back. Everything was delicious! My wife and I had the Thai boat noodles. It was so flavorful. The steak was cooked just right and the soup was perfect. I didn't need to add any condiments. My son enjoyed his Kapoon and my other son (who is a picky eater) loved the chicken wings. Service was great! Chef D came out to greet us and asked how we were liking the food. It was a great experience and we will be returning 😊.
Super delicious noodle soups!!! And fantastic prices! The servers here are very nice and quick. Food comes out quick too. In Jan they have $5 weekend specials I’m definitely coming back to try!
Very good food! The Boat Noodle Soup was perfect for the rainy afternoons we've had lately. Crab Fried Rice and Pad See Ew had very good flavor too. Good portions. The staff was very friendly. Also the food was served quickly, perfect for families with little kids! (who get hungry and impatient easily). The atmosphere was very nice and calmed, cozy, nicely warm for a family dinner!
Great new restaurant addition to the Pocket/greeenhaven neighborhood! We will be coming here more often now that we tried it. The service was friendly and the food was flavorful, portions are big!
Great food with very generous portions! I grew up in SE Asia and really enjoyed all the dishes I tried here (pad Thai, tom yum soup noodles, basil egg / pork with rice). I also love how aesthetic they make the dishes as well. I would come back, highly recommend!
The food was great and the price was good for the value and quick service. Everything I’ve tried there has been delicious. The staff is really nice and its not that hard to find parking spots.Their Iced Thai Tea is one of the best.
First Timer for a Sunday evening dinner. Located next to Belaire Grocery Store on Florin near South Land Park. Very pleasant atmosphere. Greeted warmly. Shared Special Soup and Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp. Delicious. Rice could have been Spicer and warmer. Soup broth was tasty filled with tofu, shrimp, chicken balls, noodles and veggies.

The only negative is that I live two hours away and can't come back as often as I'd like to! What a great find. Stopped on my way to Sac for a conference. Good prices, excellent food, large portions, and fantastic service. The staff were SO nice! We ate the satay, pad see ew, and pineapple fried rice. Leftovers for breakfast the next day tasted delicious. I'll find a way to get back again!
Went to this place for the first time with my girlfriend who had eaten here before and was highly impressed with the food. Had pad eggplant and chicken, tom yum chicken soup and fresh mango with sticky rice for dessert. The dishes were well presented and very tasty. I’ll recommend this place to friends and family and will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Food was fire got fried rice, a chicken dish, and thai tea. Generous portions enough to feed two people and still have leftovers. Staff were friendly and seemed to know a lot of people that came in on a first name basis. Great pricing as well, will be back.
We were visiting from out of town and looked on Google for restaurants. Any kind. This restaurant caught our eye and we thought we’d give it a try. We were not disappointed! Best Thai food we’ve ever had! My husband LOVES Pad Thai. I can’t stand the smell of it… but I don’t begrudge him his favorite dish. When his meal arrived, it didn’t smell like old shoes like it normally does from other restaurants. It smelled delicious! I gave it a taste and it blew me away! Much better than any other Thai restaurant we’ve ever been to. And it was very authentic! I got the Panang curry/Phanaeng. It was out of this world! Our kids also got their dishes that were very much enjoyed! The restaurant was very modern looking and clean. The wait-staff were on top of everything. Even the owner, (we think), greeted us at the end of our meal. Even though it’s over an hour’s drive, I know where I want to eat for my birthday at the end of October!
Wonderful service! We'd definitely go back. We really appreciated being introduced to the Laos-style papaya salad. The food asn't the tastiest I've ever had but lovely staff and atmosphere and the food came out quickly and fresh. They also allowed us to have our service dog outside and brought water for her.
The place is small and they play some music. The server was super nice, just a little confusing as I thought it was order first and then sit down but it was not. The server just wasn’t available at that time which is no worries. We ordered chicken yellow curry, boat noodle and pork ribs. The boat noodle is a deeper flavor of pho but this one was a little on the sweeter side. The sweetness hits you a bit afterwards. My boyfriend enjoyed the yellow curry and he said the spice was mild. I had the pork ribs which was dry seasoning and could’ve used more. They offer two sauces with the ribs which is a sweet sauce and a savory sauce. I was not a big fan of the sweet sauce as it did not pair well with the ribs. The savory sauce helped a bit, I wish the spice they provided was a lot spicier. We tried all three of them and none were spicy. There were also steamed veggies that came with my place and I believe the zucchini was bitter for me. Overall, I did enjoy this place and love to try more. (Same review by me on Yelp)
Came here for dinner with a friend and it was good! We shared their chicken wings with a sweet/spicy tamarind sauce and the sukiyaki noodles. The wings were super tasty and crispy and the sauce was on the side and so so good. The noodles were made well, not my go to but I’m glad I tried. The restaurant is very nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and food came out quick. I would dedicate come back to try other options!
I enjoyed my meal. The place was small, but you can group up some tables. You can also order and eat outside. We got our food really fast, and it was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The medium spicy was not really spicy. I have a high spice tolerance, so I will order spicy next time.
Food was great. Customer service wasn’t that good, waitress was a bit on the rude side. Both of our spoons were dirty, so we didn’t use it, see picture attached. Prices were fairly reasonable.

Friendly and delicious. You could hear the passionate heat of cooking from the kitchen as the wok swirls each dish perfectly adding the fragrant blend of spices. The dishes here would rival any dish in any high end restaurant in Thailand. Could use more service in the dining area but the owner was very friendly. What mattered was the food.

Came here around 6-7 on weekdays so the restaurant was empty. The waitress was nice and acknowledged us right away. Plenty of parking. Food is ok. We order a few dishes and my favorite was probably the chicken from the appetizer menu and the boat noodle. The papaya was more on the salty side, the laab was a bit bland, and the Thai basil fried rice was also kind of bland. Shrimp spring roll was ok. Would I come back, maybe, but not anytime soon. I would come back for the noodles and the chicken wings.

I have mixed feelings. We checked out the reviews for this spot before trying it out and there were great reviews. However our overall review is a 2 of 5. Most likely also not going back as there is another thai spot near by. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. We ordered take out for 5 dishes. 1. Pad thai - 3 of 5. It's a bit drier than I would like. The sauce also tastes somewhat like the pre-made sauce you can buy in stores. 2. Boat noodle - 3 of 5. It didn't taste like boat noodle. Doesn't feel.like there's much blood. More like instant boat noodle. 3. Pad See Ew - 3 of 5. I asked for mild bc I usually don't get spice at all. It was too spicy and honestly it tasted more like drunken noodle which I personally don't like because the dark seasoning sauces are too overpowering. Also it was definitely pad see EWW. Over cooked so my noodles were all broken. 4. Beef Larb - 1 of 5. Way too sweet. It tastes like beef bulgogi with rice ad chili powder. Major no. 5. Pork Ribs - 2/3 of 5. Just ok. Overpriced in my opinion. I believe 15.99 for 5 pieces of ribs nd a ton of blanched veggies. In terms of aesthetics, everything was plated beautifully and nicely. But in all honesty I was disappointed. Have had these dishes elsewhere and they tastes way different.
Ordered drunken noodle and a curry on door dash (they don't have all details on the doordash menu, so please specify if you have a dietary restriction). They were gracious enough to make us something else instead and even stayed late to do so. It was the BEST chowmein I have had in a while and highly recommend trying them. Glad to have found a thai food in the area! Update: they have now stopped accommodating vegans. They dont seem to be on the same page. The food is not the same and neither are the employees. I don't know if they changed owners or what. But sadly my favorite chowmein place, is no longer one I will support.
