Great Environment and atmosphere inside the restaurant. Clean and Shining everywhere, combination of art and light glow together bring a charmful area. Friendly environment welcome with friends and family with kids as well. Prices are bit a high but compare to the portion of the foods make to shareable with colleagues. Highly recommended! Location are perfect with shopping as well as watch movies at the same colony.

I was craving food dishes from India and so I stopped for lunch at the India oven in the Natomas area of Sacramento. Outside impressions it is unassuming. Located in a large outdoor retail center, the way you can find it fast is that it is neighbors to Starbucks, and In and Out Burger. When you step inside though it is impressively decorated with ornate paintings and ceramic displays. The workers are dressed in all black attire, dress shirts, pants down to the shoes. They see to all your needs without question. A subdued elegance that welcomes workers and locals for lunch with their lunch buffet special. The food is great in my opinion. A mix of food from different regions in India and some fusion dishes. With certain ethnic foods my favorite saying is "bring the heat"! Indian food is one of those foods. I love savory chilli chicken, and moist tandoori chicken. Fresh garlic naan out of the kitchen. Gobi a dish made from potato, and the curry was delicious.Yum and my mouth is watering from just the thought. You will not leave still hungry. A must try if you like Indian food

India Oven. Tasty, spicy and a unique experience. The hyderabadi chicken biryani - spicy is the way to go. Jam packed with herbs, it compliments your choice of curry. We chose the Lamb Saag Masala and it was delicious. Definitely worth a trip. Also start off the night with the Amritsari Fish Pakora. It's a light dish the set the mood for dinner.

This Indian oven was an awesome experience. Every vegetarian dish was sauced to perfection. For a place with a buffet, there are many vegetarian options here. An affordable large selection of dining. I will absolutely come back to this restaurant if I’m ever in Sacramento again.

Buffet most items seemed to be room temperature or just warm at best. It would have been better if they were hot. The Saag was very good and it was hot. The chicken tandoori was not hot and tasted a bit of fuel to me. The garlic nan was very good. I liked the Chai tea. It was hot. In the Walmart parking lot, next to Starbucks so plenty of free parking.

Occasionally an OK place with decent food, not something I would want to visit or order often for lack of freshness and too much Color. On one occasion, tried Karahi Paneer which felt good and fresh.

The chicken masala was bland and super thick, the mint sauce tasted like toothpaste, the samosas where soggy, and the naan was hands-down the worst I’ve ever had. Dry, chewy, and flavorless. And to make it worse, they drench jarred garlic all over the naan. I only came here because my favorite spot, Indian Sizzle, was closed, and I instantly regretted it. Wouldve starved instead of I knew just how bad this place was.
