Omgawsh, this place has big portions and GREAT food!!! Definitely coming back! Service was Excellent! Today I came in 10 mins to closing and they were kind enough to still make me house fried rice! I took it to go of course. This is the place to go folks. It's cozy, the food is great, shopping near by. I have been to several places but Changs, your the best!☆☆☆☆☆

Absolutely wonderful food and service. We should get frequent flyer miles for all of the times we have eaten here. It's really a good and comfortable place to dine.

This was one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. I love that they have a large tofu selection. The portions were huge and the staff friendly. We will be ordering from here again.

This Chang’s is next to Raleys on Natomas and Del Paso Road. Their Vanilla shrimp and garlic shrimp are incredibly delicious. The Chicken Chow Mein is Bomb! I love their War Wan Ton!

We found Chang's at random while driving through Sacramento on i5. The food was great and the service was friendly and prompt. The hot and sour soup was exactly what we needed and in a generous portion.

My 1st time trying this place today. The service was fast and accurate. The food was hot and fresh. Portions are large. Great job. I'll be back for more.

We have been going to Chang's,for over twenty years. If it was the location on west El camino (closed) to the other locations nearby. One on Del Paso Rd or Natoma Blvd. The two sisters are great,always great 👍 ❤ food and service. Always our first choice for Chinese food in Natomas.

Portions are substantial and a family of four can easily split two combo plates, meaning you can barely cook dinner at home for less than the cost of eating out for the evening.

Always a local favorite. The food is good and hot though not that fast. That’s a good thing! I’d definitely suggest this to my family and friends.

We got walnut shrimp, sesame chicken, and rice noodles. I didn't try the noodles but the chicken and shrimp was good, but not great. The waiter was a little weird too. She seemed to be in a rush to get us out.

Very large portions (container completely full). Looked appealling, but sweet & sour sauce seemed to lack flavor.

Good food. I was impressed by the cleanliness. However, they don't offer vegetarian options for the combo meals and won't make substitutions. This is very limiting and more expensive for vegetarians.

It was my first time trying this place and the food portion was big for a reasonable price 11.50. The food had good flavors, the only thing was the chow mein was a little on the salty side, maybe too much sauce.

However, I believe this place does well because they have large portions, a hearty lunchtime crowd, and prices are reasonable.

Pretty Expensive for low amount of food. I ordered for 6and had enough for 4. All I ask is Reasonable portions and yet. I Used to work by them for a decade before stored closed. Only thing I will now get from them is only their wonton soup due to location

The last con: take out ONLY. No sitting down option except a couple of chairs to wait for your food.

Their website does not show full menu. I want to see what meals they offer with chicken but it only shows beef, shrimp, soup and vegetables.

AUGUST 2023. Go to CHANG'S by SAFEWAY. Since the pandemic, there's no dine in at this establishment. FRIED RICE DOESN'T LOOK FRIED. I suspect nary a grain & the NEVER PRESENT peas-y carrots & green onions have seen a heated cooking surface or wok in their entire existence. CREAM CHEESE WONTONS are a FIRM PASS. Chewy & old tasting. BROCCOL BEEF, looks alright. Broccoli broccolis, beef isn't beefy, "gravy" cold & coagulated. The CHAIN RESTAURANT that used to be here will be missed & the pre-pandemic Chang's seems like a fever dream these days. The Chang's down the street is your best bet if you really want Chinese-style cuisine.

My husband and I took one bite and threw both take-out meals away. It tasted like someone cooked the food, froze it, then thawed and cooked it again maybe weeks later. It was so bad, such appalling quality. The portions were huge but it just felt like they were trying to get rid of the food. Panda Express seems like a high-end restaurant compared to this food.

I'm a 46yr old Man who has been to China, etc.. safe to say, I know what I like and what I do not like, same for my Ohana. In China many order Chow Fun with black bean sauce gravy wet.. in the States, we order chow mein with black bean sauce gravy. Never an issue, anywhere. This place has done it numerous times the past 3yrs. Last two times I went in, we were told that "you won't like it, so we won't make it", and "it won't taste good for your kind". Def will not be a patron ant longer. Went down the street and ordered with no issue. The young Man who took my order even asked if I been to China because of my order and how I ordered it.
