Title: Amazing First Experience - They Even Treat Dogs Like Family! Review: This was my first time at Taichi, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The way they treated my dog as part of the family truly touched my heart. It’s rare to find such a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere! The restaurant is very pretty and clean inside, and I loved seeing all the greenery—it made the space feel fresh and relaxing. My children also had a great time playing with Connect 4 and Uno, which was such a thoughtful touch to keep them entertained. There are so many varieties of food to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. We ordered chicken katsu, California sushi, fried noodles, chicken teriyaki, basil popcorn chicken, and karaage. The food came out very fast, and we especially loved the sauces, particularly the mayonnaise and chili oil—they were amazing! We also ordered boba teas and couldn’t resist taking some to go. Our choices included coffee, chocolate, honeydew, two matchas, brown sugar, and taro. Each one was delicious and refreshing. The customer service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, we had an incredible experience with great food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back again soon! Thank you!
Absolutely love it here! My son and I come here all the time. Great boba and food, and always expanding the menu! Decor and music is always nice too. The only falling short is that sometimes your food can take a while to come, but that’s not frequent.
Pretty good poke bowls and boba! The fish is fresh and the serving size is generous. The boba is nothing too special but it scratches the itch. 25% sweetness was a good balance for me

Look like they still learning she's need alot to learn . They are new probably training it take times to master that she fid a . my food are fast I'm looking for snow ice for long time I finally had it here and it delicious I didn't mention the potion is huge ! Excellent poke bowl options. Did their 3 proteins build your own style poke bowl - was satisfying. Also had their strawberry milk tea, which was good too.
The Basil popcorn chicken is what we have always hiped for. Yummy! And the crazy roll is insane!

Mid priced food and drink, max value for tastiness and portion size! Milk tea is just like Taiwan with soft but not mushy boba. Ramen is perfectly salty with just the right amount of noods (hate it when I run out) and toppings. Poke bowls are packed with goodies. Music can be a bit loud sometimes for my old ears, but otherwise place is clean and welcoming and people behind the counter have always been super friendly.
Ordered spam Musubi potstickers poke Bowl chicken and beef garlic Ramen three drinks the milk tea stood out Peach sugar-free customer service was great the ramen was very flavorful
This is our favorite local spot for boba, soup, poke bowls etc. service is fast and friendly, food is really really good for a boba spot with great prices too, definitely recommend
The girl at the register, Gabby, was really helpful and explained the menu to me since it was my first time. I got the 75% sweet on the 2 boba drinks I got. This seems like a great place to eat at. The 2 Boba drinks I got were delicious. Wintermelon and Brown sugar boba.
always have excellent service. i’ll forget to request the sugar level i like, but the cashier has never had any pushback and makes it happens. food has always been fresh and delicious. i love coming here!
I went on different occasions but always had no problem with the service. We got the poke which my husband love with the unlimited topping! I got the stifry noodles and chicken wings (it was a bit salty but ediable) we still ate everything and it was delicious. Drinks are amazing as well!
this is my absolute favorite boba spot ever! i come here more than once a week and the food and drinks are always so good! the employees are the sweetest individuals and are very attentive to every customer. this spot helped me through college! i have also recommended this spot to so many others who eventually end up loving it too!

pretty good! really new place w clean interior. ramen was hot and tasty, but note that almost all (except tomato base) have pork bone broth. fruit tea was pretty sweet but good flavor, avocado milk crush (smoothie) was good. boba were chewy but kind of hard in the middle. overall pretty good but not incredible. i will probably be back due to proximity to sac state ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Food was good, we got a sushi bowl and a sushi burrito. Generous portions. Nobody acknowledged us when we came and got to the pick up area. One issue...there was a blondish hair in the burrito and I know which employee it was because she's the only one who was there at the time that had blondish hair. You need to wear a hair net because that's just disgusting. We wasted half of the burrito because of that. Some type of refund would be appreciated.

The poke bowl was fantastic. It was a perfect dinner size. Unfortunately the Ramen was bland and when ordering a bubble tea they forgot the bubble part which was a let down. I'd only get the poke again if I was going to go back but the food was quite expensive so I would probably want to try something new. The staff was nice and wanted to accommodate to food allergies so I appreciated that.
Firstly, really a big fan of the color tones of the place and the panda-feel theme to it. Food is a little underwhelming, ramen isn't the best, but if you need something hot/warm to eat, it's good that they have an option for ramen that not usual boba places have. Boba is alright, and has a good amount of options. Not sure why but when ordering there was 5 employees by the cashier and 4 was watching while 1 took our order. Unsure whether all 4 was in training or not but just to wanted to note that. Overall place looks great. Food is below average. Boba is ok.

The lack of staffing kills the quality of product and service of this tea spot. Smooth, sweet, and cold drinks are afflicted with tough boba pearls. Taro was sweet but low in actual taro flavor. I saw two customers turned away due to them running out of boba pearls; my order likely had an old batch. The interior was somewhat modern but a little dirty, and I only saw two employees throughout. Hence my wait time was 15 minutes. Many food options are available here but I only came for their tea drinks, that they are named for. More staffing is needed here

Black garlic pho burned my tongue on my first visit. It was extremely hot. Be careful. 7/10 Fried California roll was good. 8/10 Winter melon boba. 10/10 Taro was very sweet at 75% 8/10 Biggest issue chicken bento box was dry. We ordered tachi chicken box and the chicken was dry and overcooked as well. Last, when you order online you have to add boba so I was disappointed when I ordered and drove off to find out I didn’t have boba. Boba is safe here and maybe the fried food but I may not try anything else again..
I got the poke bowl. Tiny portions on the fish but it’s fine because the fish was terrible. Strange texture like it was over frozen or cut wrong. I’ve had a lot of poke and sushi before so I know something is wrong. Staff don’t like to answer questions they just read your list and build the dish.
I really hate leaving a negative review, especially because the customer service was genuinely kind. I was the last customer of the day, and having worked in food service for 25 years, I understand how long and exhausting those shifts can be—so I don’t believe timing was the issue. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to eat my meal. I ordered the black garlic ramen with medium spice, udon noodles, no corn, and no fish cake, to go. When I got home and took my first sip of the broth, it was overwhelmingly dominated by black pepper. There was no noticeable heat or depth of spice—just an excessive amount of pepper. The first bite included bamboo shoots. I normally enjoy bamboo shoots, but these had an off flavor that reminded me of dirty fish tank water. I’ve never experienced bamboo shoots tasting like that before, so I removed them from the bowl. The pork was acceptable but very dry and mostly fat, with roughly an ounce of actual meat in the entire bowl. The egg was the one standout—it was flavorful and well prepared. The udon noodles were bland, which I understand since they aren’t traditionally used in ramen, but combined with the issues above, the dish lacked balance and cohesion. I tried letting the noodles sit in the broth longer to see if the flavors would develop, but ultimately the meal wasn’t salvageable. I’ve eaten a lot of ramen over the years, and unfortunately this experience didn’t meet expectations. While I truly appreciated the friendly service, I won’t be returning for the ramen

Was here on 01/18/2026 Ordered Basil Popcorn chicken that I regret ordering for the price of $7.99. Popcorn chicken are very tiny it is the crumbs of the chicken. I didn't bite any chicken at all. It has no taste of a chicken or if it has even a chicken. Shrimp dumpling doesn't taste like a shrimp and there wasn't any shrimp. Overall, they're just there to make money and the food is not satisfying. Money waisted
