Stopped here for lunch today. It's a nice little place with outdoor and indoor seating in the East Sac area. I ordered a Regular Chicken burrito with cheese. It was only $6.50 and comes with chips. Great deal! Especially for how big the burrito was.

1st time here & the food was good. The girl who took my order was very nice, polite & gave great customer service. I didn't get a name, she didn't have a name tag on. We ordered a Chile Verde Burrito, the Ham Breakfast Burrito & Kids Quesadilla with Rice & Beans. All were really good. I read the reviews & was iffy to come here, but we took a chance & will probably return to try something different.

I enjoy my little lunch break at this Mexican joint. Staff was friendly and brought with them a comforting feeling to the restraint, or an at home feeling. I tried the taco plate and give it a 7/10, the flavor was centered to the seasoned beef🌮Chips and salsa was enjoyable too, salsa is on the much more spicier side🌶️

I love this neighborhood vibing taqueria! The burritos never disappoint. A great casual hangout spot. Update: (2025) The ownership has changed hands, and unfortunately after trying the food under the new ownership, I won’t be returning.

We had fish plates, and seafood soup. The fish was well cooked but not a lot fish for the price. The rice was good and the beans were a little under cooked. The seafood soup was excellent. I would go back for just the soup. I would also like to try some of the tacos. The atmosphere was depressing. There was no music in the background, no TV. It was quiet except for the employees talking loudly. It would have been nice if the employees would have been more self aware about their conversations and who can hear them. But the customer service while ordering was good. I think next time I will order to go.

We ordered the shrimp Diablo plate, Fish Ranchero plate and the seafood soup. The food was good, and I gave it 3 stars because of the amount we got for the combo plates for the price. It was too little of food. The fish plate had more "filler" with onions and peppers than fish. The soup was the only one that was worth the price. They give you a big bowl filled to the top with fish, shrimp, and veggies and a half an avocado on the side with cilantro and onions. That was delicious and would go back just for the soup.

I had the two tacos with rice and beans. The food was good and the local was nice. It had a typical hole in the wall feel to it. I did enjoy the outdoor seating. The staff was not the friendliest around. Overall I would recommend if you need a quick bite to eat and are in the area.

Sadly not only did we receive the wrong burrito order, there were WHOLE chunks of uncooked garlic spread throughout the breakfast burrito. It was also cold and soggy, as if it had been sitting in the fridge for awhile and then microwaved for 30 seconds before giving it to us. Also, on top of being the wrong thing ordered, the other burrito did not taste good at all. Giving two stars because the pico de gallo and grilled onions at the side bar are amazing. Pictured is two chunks of raw garlic. There was a bunch more but i honestly didnt want to dig through it anymore.

Ordered shrimp burritos and California burritos. Maybe tacos would’ve been a better choice? I liked my shrimp burrito, but it was just ok. Chips seemed a bit stale, like made the day before and were a little greasy. Probably tasted better fresh out of fryer. But we went at 11:00am so I expected them to be a little fresher. Also the place seemed a little run down and not well maintained. Like a large package of corn tortillas on shelf with paper plates and stuff. Salsa on back counter next to dirty dishes. Dirty empty boxes everywhere beside the register and back counter. (Did not take pics) Not sure of cleanliness practices. I had high hopes walking in, it’s a super cute restaurant. But I guess just not for me. One thing I did enjoy was the family atmosphere you could feel there.

Nice small place for authentic Mexican tacos. I had the chorizo tacos but the chorizo was too salty. I also had the lengua tacos and pieces of lengua were too big. The horchata lack a bit in flavor. I like the fact that this place closes at 11pm during the week when most places at 9pm.
