Amazing place. Their breakfast is good. Bacon was delicious and smoky, pancakes were fluffy, and country potatoes were good. Dont listen to the old comments, this place was amazing.

This place is really good. The waiter matters though, I've had both good and not so good. But the food is always on point. Now I just go in see who's working and go to who I want...no problems. The owner is really cool, down to earth whatnot. Good place

This place is hands down the awesomest place I've had breakfast. The staff is very non judgemental. I brought my chihuahua Bj with me which after the morning I'd had, I was certain it was going to be a problem. Not only was it not a problem but the waitress who was absolutely wonderful BTW brought him his own chicken.Then the manager or owner not really sure which who was also wonderful brought BJ his own 3 pieces of freshly cooked bacon. They didn't even charge me for it. I looked a mess I'd been out all night I was tired my friend and I ordered biscuits and gravy and a skillet both were awesome. My friend has been coming here since before Covid and told me more stories about these wonderful people the food is great and cheap. The service goes above and beyond. I'll be eating here everytime I can afford to eat out. 2 thumbs up 5 stars. Woot woot you guys rock. You got a real hidden gem here Sacramento.. My wife and I had breakfast here one morning and we loved it. Great service, great food, great prices. We really enjoyed it. We've been back several times since and always the same results. Fantastic.

Oh boy howdy. When it comes to waffles, you need look no further than waffle square. They have a great menu with the best waffles anyone could hope for. Great staff. Polite and respectful as well as attentive. And the crepes were screaming. I mean if you like that sort of thing. Big Smile 😁

This review is based on my experience, love the simplicity of this restaurant old-fashioned old vibes and the food is good overall. The food is good , is Home made food with I like it the breakfast sampler is my favorite and the pankes are pretty good the parking is really good planty space even if they are busy the parking is pretty spacious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant .

We found this place while we were out running errands one morning. Nice roomy restaurant that serves tasty breakfast items. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly and we really did enjoy our meal. They will definitely see us coming back again for breakfast 😋

This was our first time here and when we arrived and noticed that about 11am Sunday morning there was was wide open parking and when we walked in the restaurant looks to be about 15% of seating capacity and we thought to ourselves as we were waiting to be seated that can't be a good sign for a Sunday morning. We ordered our breakfast, she got country fried steak with a hash browns and B&G and I got the NY Cheesecake waffle with eggs and toast with a coffee. Skip to the end and I was surprised at how good it was and reasonably priced. The only downside was the hash browns were cold and that's why I didn't give it a 5 star review. Possible give this place a try in the future.

Came here about 730 am on a Monday. Took about 8 min for someone to sit us the sign was displayed wait to be seated. There were only 2 people in the whole place. The server was a female and she looked like the she hated mondays. No good morning, specials, or thank you. The menu has a nice variety of things to get like Waffles, Pancakes, Crepes, Omelet. I decided to get a Waffle combo with over medium eggs and sausage. The Waffle was pretty good. Check came out to $22 for 2 combos which was not bad.

Went this morning for my birthday. Cute place. Good for waffles and pancakes. Savory breakfast not so much. Still good though. Very nice staff.

Food was alright, it came out much quicker than expected though. My girlfriend ordered coffee and the cup came out with lipstick still on the cup. The cutlery weren't exactly clean either. But the server was extremely kind and polite and very quick with getting us clean or cleaner cups and cutlery.

It's nice, just wish the cutlery was a better quality...they looked dirty just cause they don't have that "at home feeling"... A simple pre-wipe with your napkin and it's all good. The food was good hit the spot... Slow business but only because of the " Rona" otherwise normally the are very busy. Even Monday mornings.

We went in just randomly since our regular place was closed, their service was great very friendly and attentive. Where they sat us there was literally a dead fly on the blinds. Food was okay

Service was great they are doing the best they can. Unfortunately the restaurant is understaffed and very poor, unclean. Our silverware was dirty, and the table was still sticky from previous customers. Food was good as usual just very slow. Our check never came and we had to wait about 10 minutes before someone noticed us at the cashiers desk. Sad. We really liked this place.

Restaurant is very dark. One waitress was the server and cashier, and she chickened complained the entire time. When I walked in, she looked at me and walked . away without saying a word. Two minutes later, she said, you can sit wherever you like." I could have been already seated. She served the meal, and next time I saw her, she was bringing the check. Post poor service deserved no top and no future visit. Food was average.

I had a Denver Omelet with a biscuit and gravy. The food was good but this place is tired and definitely needs repairs and sprucing up. The service was lackluster, no greeting, no smiles and mostly one-word responses to questions. With so many competitors in the area you'd think they would try harder.

Food was pretty good although I did find a hair in my gravy which isn’t really too big of a deal I guess but when I went to bathroom this but kind of threw me off food taste pretty good and it’s not too expensive

I asked for a steak omelet and to add bacon inside of the omelet, they gave me bacon on the side instead of inside like I asked. The food had no seasonings (I had to add my own when I got home). And the lady Christy was rude when giving me the bacon, she lightweight threw the container of bacon on the table. I do not like her customer service at all.

Hot, grease dripping burger... decent for a greasy spoon. Cold omelet with 'sausage' that couldn't be identified as being made of any particular meat. My wife got about half way in before giving up in disgust. Her toast was only buttered in the center before being heated, making for a gooey circle in the middle and a dry, crunchy outer ring. They got my son's order wrong. 1 bacon 1 sausage doesn't seem terribly difficult with being what's on the menu, but they still managed to bring out 2 bacon instead. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday morning, but the food was slow in getting out to us. Server never checked on us between ordering and bringing out the food. The "sourdough" burger is awful. Burgers and butter have no place together. Placing a meat patty on buttered toast turns out to be rather vile. Server was despondent and jaded. Many other customers around us had to ask several times for water refills and never got them. We'd tried to give this place a second chance after initial disappointment, but we won't be returning again. If you're looking for truck stop dining, you'll love it. If you want good food... keep driving.

This place was horrible. Food was cold when it got to us. How do manage to serve burnt potatoes to customers??? Country fried steak was soggy and tasted like nothing but batter. Over medium eggs had slimey whites and were immediately scrapped off my plate. Waitress also agrued that a completely done steak was medium rare (it wasnt) and to charge my 13 bucks for a steak yall cooked all flavor out of is ridiculous. Way over priced. Horrible food. I paid my 30 dollar bill with disgust because i do not believe in making a scene however my entire meal is still sitting on the table. I cannot urge you enough not to waste your money here on food you wont eat but still have to pay for.

Animal hair in my blue berries!!! Raw dough in my pancakes. Under-cooked potatoes. Almost vomited at the smell. Even the bacon smelled bad. How do you screw up the smell of bacon!?! I had to throw out the entire order!!!

Worst restaurant EVER!!! My mom and I were COMPLETELY ignored through 19th a course of us being here. When I order tea; I got the tea bags...but NO HOT WATER! Wth??!! My mom ordered black coffee...it's been almost 20 min and she STILL hasn't received. If I hadn't gone to church today, was sooo hungry, and being with my mom right now, I would have gone to the manager give him what for! And after AN HOUR..I FINALLY GET MY FOOD!!! The food was good, but it's not worth dealing the HORRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL experience....DONT EVER GO UNLESS you want to wait FOREVER AND A WEEK for your food and your INVISIBLE COFFEE!!!!!!! Piss poor service! Not once did the lady come check on me to see if the food was OK or if I needed anything. Had to call her back to get more water and she walked by me twice and not ask if I wanted more water seeing that my cups was empty and at the edge of the table. People trip about not giving tips............ This is the main reason why I don't give tips!!!!!!

I went this morning, I ordered a turkey sandwich, the bread wasn't even toasted, the turkey gave me stomach ache very simple just 2 pieces of bread, with a slice of turkey and a slice of tomato inside, a little cream on top. The turkey was horrible, the lady I was with got 2 eggs with 2 sausages, total price $15.43, it was the special for the over 55, we paid to have stomach ache and it was even the special for the over 55, no coffee included. They won't get my business anymore.

I came in today with my friends. I ordered the Philly Cheese steak with fries and I have to say the steak was tough like our servers personality. They did however replaced the sandwich with a BLTA, which was nice of them. Ultimately I wouldn’t come back.

Sitting here now and my food tasted like it would have actually been good if it was warm, my potatoes were cooled off and definitely were not cooked all the way, same thing with my sausage patties and eggs. My coffee tasted really old and was cold. And apparently there's a lot of typos on the menu, making it look like you get more food with your meal, but there not actually multiple portions. It says you get 2 eggs, your choice of toast or fruit, biscuit and gravy, and one of the following; ham, bacon, sausage, etc.. but you only get to choose one thing. I have seen multiple other comments with very very similar opinions and situations. I highly recomend a better breakfast place like lumberjacks, or McDonald's. All are honestly way better options

My experience was very disappointing and I don’t believe I will be returning. After myself and my family received water we had to ask for menus were brought to our table. We had had a wait before someone took our orders. I can say the only thing that was still hot when it made it to the table was my hash browns. The butter just set on the waffle and the fruit salad is just sad 😔. Never again 🤨 40+ dollars down the drain

This restaurant is disgusting. It’s so filthy dirty. We used our own wipe to wipe down the table and it went from white to black immediately. The child high chairs look like they have never been wiped down. Black sticky dirt all over them. The one bathroom stall that was working was so dirty, like it’s never been cleaned. The other stall was taped shut and had yellow caution tape in front of the door. Every table was dirty. The whole place was disgusting. We got my grandkids out of there fast and didn’t order anything. We told the waitress and showed her the dirty wipes from wiping the table and she just said thank you, have a nice day. The Health Department needs to look into this restaurant.
