This was my first time back at an In N Out in over half a decade since I moved across the country. It was charmingly busy as ever, bustling with good energy and efficiency as usual at lunchtime. Lots of families dining in with the kids and teens out for a bite with friends. The place is popular and beloved. The wait for our food wasn't quick but not terribly long, due to the sizeable crowd, and my burger and fries were just as fresh and tasty as I remember and love. Service was efficient, polite, and friendly as usual. I was so happy to be back!

Love In-N-Out. The drive thru was not too busy when I go there. By the time I got my food, the drive thru line was starting to wrap down the street. Two lines for the drive thu to get cars through fast.

Despite the ridiculous drive-thru line, there was parking in the lot and we got our order in ~10 minutes. Perfectly prepared as always, although staff were a bit chaotic and needed reminding that we also had an order of animal fries. It was a bit crowded inside so we ate outside. The cold weather wasn't too bad. We followed a drive-thru car that arrived at the same time as us, and they needed 10 more minutes to get their food after us, so walking in is definitely faster.

I don't go to In-n-Out often it's located on the other side of town and the line is long always . I got off work early and haven't had lunch so thought In-n-Out sou ds good and at this time of day could be a bit slower. I ordered The double double with cheese animal style and a Neapolitan shake and Is animal fries. 👌 What a great after work treat. I was delighted as In-n-Out never disappoints kudos!

The burgers are always on God mode. However the fries taste like foam even worse when they're cold.

I am not about the hype, but I do enjoy the prices and the way employees treat you here. It is busy so prepare for many people but keep a positive head and enjoy. Burgers are good. Prices increased but it's the signs of the times. This location does get congested for drive thru but the service is great and decent.

We live in Florida so this past Friday was our first visit to In and Out Burger in Salinas, California, when we were there visiting family. It was the best experience! The assistant manager greeted us as soon as we came in and chatted while we waited in line. The restaurant was crowded but the line moved quickly- there were so many friendly, helpful workers! Our lunch was delicious and when we were ready to leave, the assistant manager approached us again and offered us hats signed by the workers and gift cards for a future visit. This was so unnecessary but it gave us a wonderful impression of In and Out and we will be sure to stop in for lunch when we are in the area again. I wish I had the managers name - he was a very special worker. Thanks so much!

How can you go wrong at In-N-Out? It's one of the best burgers in the country. For me, it's always a double, double protein animal style burger with a shake and fries! I also picked up gift cards for the gift exchange. When in doubt, go after the In-N-Out gift cards.

Food here is always amazing a little wait time but can never be disappointed a double double with grilled onions raw onion and chopped chilis with well cooked fries and a strawberry milkshake deliciously amazing

Food is always consistent here, tastes great, and feels healthier than the other burger options. During the busy times, the drive thru does go out into the street though, and the parking is quite full.

I probably love them more because where I live we don't have In-N-Out...so it's always a special treat when I travel.

As usual, the lines are really long BUT excellent customer service and the food is consistently delicious. Perfect every time. Been here many times and have never had a complaint about anything. Hopefully it stays that way!

CALIFORNIA LOOOOVVVEEEEEEEEEEE! This location had a line going out the door and cars lined up around the block for drive-through. Top tip, always go inside to order to get served faster. Ordered in 5 minutes and served in less than 4. Animal style burger with extra crispy fries. Nothing else quite like it!

Best burgers in the country without a doubt. Super fresh vegetables, and ingredients. I hate tomatoes and onions but when I eat at in n out you gotta eat the whole thing and it tastes amazing. The secret menu makes everything better. 4x4 animal style is AMAZING. I live in Washington but travel from time to time to Cali just for a burger. They're THAT good!!

Always busy! Right off the highway, do a great stop on our travels. I ordered a protein style and my husband ordered a double double. One of these days I'm going to try their animal fries 😁

Came to In-N-Out because they obviously saw the healthiest fast food burgers in town. The line was relatively short and it went by pretty quick. I’m happy that I came here. It’s been a long while since I’ve had fast food and this is my preference relatively speaking.

My family is visiting from the East Coast, so I don’t know if this location is always this busy or if it was because of the Salinas Rodeo, but the drive-thru line was wrapped out to the road! We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went, and at the superb service and amazingly low price. We received our correct order and it was delicious! Will be back again before we leave!

The staff are very efficient and accommodating at this location. Have been coming here for more than a couple decades and service, food quality and experience is always on point. There is never a dull moment here be it early brunch time or midnight cravings, the satisfaction is guaranteed. Very strategically off the 101 freeway even to accommodate the hungry passers-by. Young energetic staff are always a pleasure to interact with.

Everytime we go here are order is made perfectly and staff is kind and attentive. Most negative issues I believe are customer errors. Yes it can be busy, so if you see it’s too many people, or the drive thru line is long, go somewhere else if your not willing to wait or think your order may get “rushed” .

Bear with me on this one: This was the worst location I've ever seen back in 2020, and it's still not great now that I've stopped by 4 years later. I mean the actual physical location is a poor choice. The street capability and the small size of the lot, you wonder why city planners ever approved this. The workers are doing their best with what they have, though. The drive-thur is a pain because all cross traffic across the lot is blocked off, so you can only access it through the first driveway, and if you mess up, you have to turn around like all the other dopes and go back to the street to access the other driveway. It IS marked with the drive-thru sign, but I think they really need to sell it that it is the ONLY way to get to it, and that every other way is roped off. Maybe put out one more "No drive-thur access" signs and have it face the street for us who are stupid or tired. Now that I'm done complaining about the annoying layout... Everything else is what you'd expect from In-n-Out. Food was good. Service was fast. Soda was a little off on the ratio, but that happens so unless its a continuous issue, I don't count it against them. Just the annoyingly small and limited access, as well as the questionable location, and I've been to many sketchy locations.

It gets really crowded and you’ll likely have to wait, but the staff are friendly and efficient. Their quick service makes the wait feel shorter than expected.

I’ve always loved In-n-Out. It’s absolutely delicious! My favorite burner is the double double Animal Style! However, one the biggest negatives (and the main reason why I don’t eat here as often as I’d like to) is the drive through line! Seriously it gets very long and the wait time can be over an hour long! If you don’t mind driving a bit further, the in n out in seaside is so much faster.

In-N-Out burger is ever so good, but they often burn their burgers which makes me nuts. They say they have to make them well done, but burning them is just gross. When they are made right they are really great. There are many good things at In-N-Out. They have great fries and their shakes are very good. They also have about anything you want, just ask them. They have chili although it is not on the menu, and you can get a grilled cheese, also not on the menu. This In-N-Out was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was made as ordered and nice and hot. It can get crowded, but the wait is not that bad. You will enjoy this place. I would suggest you ask them to have your burger medium and they may say they have to be made well done. Tell them to add a note saying do not over cook. Have a great time.

We like In-N-Out. We don’t go all the time, maybe every couple of months or so. We don’t go to others like Burger King, Jack In The Box or Wendy’s. I haven’t been to a McDonald’s since the late 90’s, other than the occasional deposit I’ll leave there. In-N-Out came to town and I never went back. Why would anyone that has tried both? They tend to be well staffed, well managed, fairly clean and consistent from one to the next. It’s a great burger for the money and certainly better than most. But you can spend a bit more and get a better burger at Nation’s or other smaller burger places.

Caramelized onions on a cheeseburger! very tasty. Service was fast, but more so helpful and polite. The fries are not my favorite, but my companion loves them. Exclaiming they were perfect. I watched one of the young servers assist an elderly couple through the "speed ordering" process politely, and kindly. Staff like that means management is doing good at this location. And did I say the caramelized onions were great.

The place is usually packed the food seems to be better when ordered inside. Food was decent only complain I have is my milk shake was melted since I had to wait a while.

Each time I've been to this location my burger & bun are over toasted. I've never experienced this at other locations and I've been to many in CA and TX. One of the staff members in the kitchen was cosplaying as The Bear, it was quite loud and distracting to be honest. Overall good though.

Thank you for your awesome service and delicious burger. One thing I am concerned about is the drive thru and parking. But other than the parking I recommend if you want a delicious burger in n out.

We ordered 13 Orders we received five containers of Peppers and we asked for more and was told there was no more at 7:30 PM. I think the girl in the drive-through was having a bad night. Took 25 minutes and 2 tries to get the order correct

First timer, I'm not in love but it was a decent burger, good fries. The parking situation was tight and small. The line nearly back up onto the access road. I just don't get it. Decent enough food, classic burger joint atmosphere, but it's nothing to write home about 🤷‍♂️

Easily the worst in n out I have ever been to. It’s been a 40 minute wait for me about 90% of the times I have gone, and somehow the food always comes out cold. Don’t sit by the doors when dining in either because the breeze from the doors will make your food inedibly cold in 6 minutes. Not much seating anyway. I don’t think it’s the employees fault, this place was put in a very inconvenient location and they need to open another in n out in town to divert the amount of people that come here. Also, every time I eat here I am fighting for my life on the toilet the next day.

I love in n out. But I gotta say the parking here is HORRIBLE. So crowded and drive through makes it worse. They either need to relocate to a bigger location or open up a few more locations around the area.

Looks fairly new. Parking is a nightmare especially for big pickup truck on the south lot. You drive in, it was full so went to the back to go around to north lot but is a dead-end with no place to turn around. Someone is gonna get hit or dented since people have back all the way back out a busy lot. Sad design.

We just stopped in to buy and iced tea. It was chaotic and disorganized behind the counter, which is highly unusual for an In-n-Out. It took 20 minutes to be served because both cashiers were struggling to process a return of some kind. The line was out the door, and the restrooms were not recently cleaned. The drive thru line was beyond the property boundary and down the street. They need more throughout to satisfy demand. Our visit was about 9pm on 2025-01-12.

Restroom- dirty Tables- dirty Floor- dirty Lids- out Napkins- out Chilis- out Lemonade- out And all of that I could have maybe overlooked, if the food had been good. Unfortunately the soda machine exploded all over my sweater, my cheese was barely hanging on to my burger, and my onions were missing. Ugh.

I've never been to an In-N-Out burger that I was so disappointed in. The fries were cold, and I had to send them back. Animal style ones were congealed and cold. And on top of it, the burgers' buns were toasted way too long, and they were hard. The only thing that was good was the shakes. I've never been to an In-N-Out Burger that has a security guard either. What's going on in Salinas?

My recent visit to In-N-Out was a letdown. While the food was okay and the flavors were consistent with what you’d expect, the execution left much to be desired. I ordered a 4x4 burger, but they only included 3 patties instead of the 4 I paid for. Mistakes happen, but it’s frustrating when attention to detail is missing, especially at a place known for its customization. The staff was polite, but the issue wasn’t resolved on-site, which added to the disappointment. I hope for better accuracy next time.

Went to in n out about 3 times and out of those 3 times the food has been very salty. We asked for our hamburger without salt and it was still very salty. The meat was raw and we always ask for Well-Done. I hope this feedback will help improve the quality of food that is being made for us. We hope that the old in-n-out from Salinas will make a comeback to how it once was.

Worst customer service and staff. They don’t know how to do their job correctly. How hard is it to ask for two double burgers one with cheese and one without it? We got one burger that had three patties and the burger never showed up. We asked for jalapeños and they forgot to add that. The manager said we will bring the foods to your table for this inconvenience and they never brought it. This less than zero stars experience.
