Una volta entrati si viene avvolti da un'atmosfera unica, difficile da descrivere a parole....Lo chef Daichi ha creato tutto con passione,si vede e si sente! Il Kaisen miso nabe, preparato seguendo la ricetta di sua nonna, è ricco di sapori, buonissimo! Tutto il personale è stato molto cordiale e attento alle esigenze di tutti, lo chef alla fine ci ha chiesto consigli nel caso ci fosse stato qualcosa da migliorare ma per noi è stato tutto perfetto! Ci ritornerò sicuramente! Ricordate: qui NO SUSHI! ありがとう

Raramente ho dato 5 stelle, ma questo posto devo dire che mi ricorda tantissimo il Giappone dove sono stato per ben due vacanza. Dalle altre parti non ho sentito gli stessi sapori. Bravi!

A welcoming and unique place in the heart of Genoa. The food is excellent for the price. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A unique experience to try Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

A complete novelty in the Genoese oriental cuisine scene: the appetizer is delicious, with a spicy fried octopus; the complete, light, filling, and truly top-quality nabe; and the signature dessert (waffle with azuki bean jam) is a fitting end to a high-end dinner. The setting is stunning, recreating Japanese street food. The service is courteous and prompt. The price is commensurate with the quality. The final lottery is interesting, with a virtually guaranteed prize. We'll definitely be back.

Tamashi fish market, sister of Tamashi ramen is a great alternative if you're looking for something more seafood oriented. The nabe style, tabletop cooking method is unique and allows the guest to be involved in a more hands on experience. The fish market concept gives a great vibe and I do feel a little melancholic because it reminds us of our trips to Japan. To have a little piece in Genova brings us back every time. It's restaurants like these that the city needs.

I had a truly amazing experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was so cool, during my visit I forgot I was in Italy because of the charming and authentic Japanese interior. When Tamashi ramen arrived in Genova it quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. Now that Tamashi Fish Market has opened, too, they are both battling for first place! Opening its second restaurant after Tamashi Ramen, Tamashi Fish Market specializes in don and nabe. The prices are high and only partially justified by the quality, but it must be said that the food is truly excellent; both the nabe, served in a pot with the stove turned on, and the don were very tasty. The concept is inspired by the Tokyo fish market, and the place is very charming and quaint, especially the downstairs dining area, which is more comfortable and welcoming. On the ground floor, near the entrance, however, the tables and chairs are uncomfortable. The tables for two are very small, and those near the door suffer from drafts. The service is the weak point. The staff are friendly but poorly trained, with language difficulties and poor ability to explain the dishes or assist customers, a factor that weighs heavily considering the prices. A final note on the non-pet-friendly policy. In 2026, it's still surprising, especially considering that during my visit, a small white dog was present in the downstairs area. If there are rules, they should apply to everyone, without exceptions for friends or staff.

I went to this charming Japanese restaurant to enjoy a different kind of cuisine. The colorful atmosphere is cheerful, but the tables are a bit high. The staff is friendly and courteous. I had a rice dish with shrimp, which I enjoyed and would definitely order it again. The only problem is the chopsticks, which I'm not used to, but you can adapt or ask for cutlery. My partner had a broth dish with vegetables, meat, and noodles, which was inviting and enjoyed. I'll be back.

amazing experience here!!! the atmosphere was incredible, it really feels like you're on a small street in a city in japan. service is top notch as always, just like in their ramen restaurant, friendly and kind. food was great! very tasty and of really good quality. a little pricey, but it's always worth it at the tamashi places. highly raccomend!

Antipasti abbastanza buoni, deve piacere il genere. Il primo era la cosa che ci è piaciuta meno. Abbiamo preso riso con i gamberi fritti. I gamberi abbastanza buoni il riso ahimè lo abbiamo trovato pessimo. Veramente troppo cotto, rasentava la pappetta, e l'uovo era troppo poco poco e l'odore di "refrescume" era molto. Dolci. Pudding alla mandorla buonissimo il waffle buono ma sapeva troppo di olio di frittura. Totale per 2 antipasti, 2 primi 2 dolci e 0.5 acqua. 63€

Il locale è molto carino e caratteristico. Il personale è stato gentile anche verso l'esigenza di un commensali allergico a un alimento, ha saputo indicare i piatti adatti. Per quanto mi riguarda, non è il genere di cucina che fa per me. Non so se tornerò, forse sì, ma consiglio di provare. Il cibo è di qualità!
