Still a darn good dog. Staff varies from both locations. But the dogs. Rock fries are a bit soggy at times. I'd prefer some burger king fries. Or McDonalds over salted fries. Jalapeño poppers are great there. Drive through so no way to really judge the staff. Still quick on orders. Very expensive for dogs though.

Me and my girlfriend love your food and service and it's amazing and awesome and your place looks nice and I hope y'all have something new on the menu for us to try next time we come back

I've been a Wienerschnitzel fan from my first experience... the hot dogs are awesome then wienerschnitzel up'd their game by adding corn dogs, fries & tasty freeze to their menu. Although they have been my favorite but now, after experiencing the online ordering system I'm not eating anything other than Weinerschnitzel ever again! 🎉🎊

November 16, 2025 7:43 pm I have not eaten at Wienerschnitzel for a long time. Today was proof why I'd rather get a hot dog from Loves Travel Centers. The dollar value for a Chili Dog just isn't there. I will say that I think the hot dog buns are superior to everyone else's since they are smaller and tastier and the chili is decent. The actual hot dogs though... are thin and small. The lady who took my order was friendly and had good energy but the girl who handled the window transaction sucked all of the good energy out of the transaction and replaced it with "I don't really want to be here today". Yeah. I could yell. I still gave a decent rating since my parameters for what a good hot dog is, and it's value, may be different than others opinions.

Always has great tasting food. Thier chili dog's are some of the best don't know why. Love it even though the prices are a bit high for hot dogs 🌭. Its the taste and overall quality of the food. People there seem to like working there even if the pay is okay. For a job it seems they have fun making th food the building could use a remodel but same style. I just Always like the knickerboker and the Sherwoodway. For fast food they are are better than Mc Donald's. That is a statement on service and customer appreciation. As well as better food.

I come here for the ice cream an popers however I think the popers are a little pricey they are still my favorite go to place.

Can always count on Weinerschnitzel for a good ol fashioned hot dog with all the fixings!

Always loved the fries and the chili but lately the chili topping on the hotdogs has become very limited not even on top of the hotdogs just a small spread on the buns

Chili cheese fries are sad. They are stingy with chili sauce. A bit bummed they don’t give military discounts if you’re getting a crowd pleaser. But the lemonades are good

Asked employee for military discount. She said sorry we can separate your combo and charge you more per item then apply the military discount. But I can't give it to you on a combo order. I said doesn't that increase the price and she said yes. Then just say we don't have military discount. That simple. Not eveey business needs to go give it. That's just ridiculous

I pulled up to the drive-through around 12:05 PM, There were four cars in front of me and at 12:22 PM. I decided to leave because there had been no movement at all. I don’t know what happened to this location but used to they had workers come out and take your order if you’re sitting in line and no one came outside and the line did not move for more than 15 minutes. We only have an hour for lunch and we can’t spend half of it in a line.

This place used to be so good. Not sure what happened over the last few years but it has gone so far down hill I won’t be going anymore. Building is run down and looks like it’s falling apart. Customer service is awful except for one sweet lady that works there and the food is ALWAYS cold. What a shame.

Things might take a little longer when working alone but, I was the only customer. After sitting at the window for over 10 minutes the guy comes, I show him my phone for the coupon and he just stared at the computer saying he doesn’t know how to work the register, I took this as a sign and just left without the food. How is They’re only only going to be one employee and they don’t even know how to work the register.

First and last time visiting this establishment. These hotdogs are just small, sad, rubbery and expensive. I know food never looks like the picture but this isn’t even close to the Kraut dog advertised.

I order 2 plain hot dogs, and 6 chili cheese dogs, along with large bacon ranch fries bringing my total to around $35. Instead they have me 6 plain hot dogs, and my fries. Where did my chili and cheese go that I paid for along with the other two hot dogs???

This Place needs new Management or something, ridiculous how pricey the fast food is and how much the service and food suck, they can NEVER get an order right it seems and are not WILLING to replace THEIR WRONG DOINGS. I wouldn’t recommend anyone losing money on this place ever it’s literally dog food at the price of steak meals, insanity at its finest

The 4 stars for service were for the young lady who took my order and assisted me at the window. She was GREAT. Professional, friendly, went the extra mile. She was the best thing about this visit. However, despite her efforts, the order was WRONG - AGAIN. I actually had to wait at the window while they made the chili cheese fries. STILL DONE WRONG!! WOW!! This happens at THIS LOCATION every time! No exaggeration. Part of the order was chili cheese fries WITH BACON and sour cream. Not hard. But they NEVER get it right. Last time it had jalepenos!! UGH. I specifically asked to be sure they were right this time due to the history of always being wrong. We live 10 minutes outside of town. Got home, NO BACON. Charged for it. Have the receipt. FRUSTRATED because tried to prevent it from happening AGAIN and it STILL DID. I called. I was VERY polite and explained what was wrong with the order, the precautions taken to assure it would be right this time and how it has been wrong every time. I was told to bring the fries back. I explained I live outside the city limits. I was told, it is their POLICY that the food must be returned. DUMB POLICY especially if YOU KNOW YOU made the order wrong!! I thought, WHAT? YOU made the mistake. The bacon was PAID for, but not received. I explained that I was not driving back to town and asked for the owner or corporate office contact information and was told, "You have to find it online." REALLY? I am sure you could provide this information. If YOU make a mistake, MAKE IT RIGHT and NOT at the expense or time of the customer. All the other food will be cold by the time they bring back what YOU got wrong. The Sherwood Way location will have our business from now on. RIDICULOUS. I never raised my voice or was ugly. I just stated the facts. I am very disappointed in how this location handles issues brought to their attention. I was texted a coupon from Der Wienerschnitzel one day around a month ago and although I had brought my lunch, the coupon enticed me to go there for lunch instead. Exactly what coupons and advertising are for. I went to this location and told them I was using an online coupon texted to me and I was told, " We do not accept that coupon here." I asked, "Do you have any other specials or other coupons I could use?" I was told, "Just the coupons online." I told them this was an online coupon that their business, Der Wienerschnitzel had sent to me via text!! Anyway, I left. Pulled a "U" turn in the drive through and left frustrated, an unhappy customer. Went back and ate the lunch I brought to work. Wasted half my lunch hour for nothing. We still went back. They are the closer location. We have given them chance after chance. If I were the owner, I would be making some serious changes or at the very least ramping up my customer service training for my employees. Without customers, YOU DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS or a JOB! Treat them better and fix YOUR mistakes. Better yet, PAY ATTENTION to the order and MAKE IT RIGHT the first time!! I am beginning to think this location doesn't really want business.....

LOCATION SUCKS every single time HAVE NEVER got the order right, EVER! I’ve let it slide and accepted it every single time but the 5th time after even telling them at the window to make sure it’s right is ridiculous! They couldn’t even give corporate number over phone nor offer THE CORRECT ORDER unless we came back and we live out of town ! Business sucks and so do the employees don’t waste your money here

Hadn't ate there in years so thought I would try it. Disappointed over all. They charge more if you want all Beef hotdog. Ordered 2 hotdogs with sauerkraut and 2 with Chili. Get home and find No Sauerkraut and there was no chili on the others. Too far to go back there and complain. Expensive for what you get. Will not be back.

The corndogs were okay. Not great but okay. The chili hotdog was decent but they were really stingy over their chili sauce. The fries were really salty which didn’t taste good. My opinion I would say 2.5. Star. One of the most disappointing chili dog I have ever eaten in my life. Like the other review said “ I would let my dog eat this.” The food honestly tasted like leftover.

20 minute wait for "fresh patties". I received the wrong drink and they forgot my chili cheese fries. I wouldn't think that I should have to check my bag for such a simple order but I am clearly wrong.
