Firestone Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, hearty food in a lively atmosphere. A friend and I stopped by recently, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. We started with their juicy, tender meat paired with perfectly cooked vegetables—it was bursting with flavor and absolutely mouthwatering. We also tried their signature burgers, and they were incredible. The patties were thick and succulent, the buns were fresh, and the toppings added just the right balance of textures and tastes. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and friendly.
Very busy place at lunch time but food and prices are really good.
Bakersfield's Best for Flavor & Value! 🍖🔥🤤💰👍 If you're in Bakersfield and craving seriously good food, Firestone Grill is the place to be! This spot is a local legend for a reason. First off, the portions are HUGE. You definitely won't leave hungry, and the value for what you pay is incredible. It's truly small prices for such generous and delicious meals. Beyond the amazing food and value, the service is consistently great. The staff is friendly and efficient, making every visit a pleasant experience. Whether you're a long-time local or just passing through, Firestone Grill delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fantastic BBQ, tri-tip, and more without breaking the bank.
Wow!!!! You want good barbecue 😋 with fast service this is the place!
Very good atmosphere, the food is very good very friendly staff and they serve you fast.
So good! Burgers and ribs are great.
Great bbq! I came for dinner. The menu is not large, but that's good, it's much easier to order from. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was yummy. I also tried my friend's tri-tip. It was very tender, but needed a bit more flavor. Also had the Punch from the bar. Excellent. I would go again!
Firestone is super delicious! The scenery is that of a sports bar. It's really chill. The prices are medium ranged. They do not sell combos as so you wool but your drink, side, and main dish separately. Once you walk in, you are to either find where you want to sit (you will not be seated) and be served or you can walk to the order line and order your food. Either way, you find your own seating. The servers are generally nice and pleasant. Keep in mind that lunch time is crunch time and sometimes the attentiveness of the servers may be a bit delayed. I would advise heading to lunch around 11:30am. It's still pretty slow at that time. They have a bar and televisions set up for your enjoyment. It's a pretty neat place.
Do I start with how loud it is. Yes, it is extremely loud. The place is a sports bar and grill. It should be loud. If it wasn't, the staff would not be doing their jobs. Do I follow with the servers stand around talking to customers? Hell yes. I watched customers laughing and smiling while talking to the servers. The servers, if you wanted full service, were excellent. Don't like sports? Go anyways. The food is SUBLIME. sub·lime /səˈblīm/ adjective of such excellence, grandeur, or beauty as to inspire great admiration or awe. Eat the Tri-Tip sandwich. Get French Fries and Onion Rings, you can get the fries 50/50 with onion rings. Your tummy will love you. The tri-tip was perfect. So tender, even a person like me, with missing teeth could eat it. There were enough fries and onion rings that I could not finish them. The onion rings gave the 18 Hundred a run for their money. The fries have a special seasoning that is great. All in all, A VERY GOOD PLACE TO EAT!!!!! Do I recommend them? They get four yeses.
So happy to see a beach favorite make it's way to Bakersfield! I still prefer the San Luis location but, only because if I'm there it means I'm on vacation! They have managed to bring the flavors I love to Bakersfield. The food is consistently great. I have now been to the Bakersfield location more times then I would like to admit and have yet to be disappointed. It's loud so if you are in need of peace, quite and a romantic atmosphere this isn't the spot. But if you want great food, lively atmosphere and a place to meet with our families, groups, a friend or a quick bite by yourself. Stop in! My personal favorite is the Steak Cobb. The portions are huge so a small is enough for one and the large is good for sharing. I recently branched out and got the chicken Cobb for the first time. Yum! I'm not a French fry eater but an order invariably lands on our table and I have to say I have eaten plenty of the crispy tators! This place has become a staple for me.
Tried the ribs and they were terrific. I've had the tri tip sandwich on a previous visit and was very pleased as well
Firestone is a local staple. Excellent food for a decent price. The environment definitely invites people to hang out with plenty seating and televisions airing sports around the bar.
Love everything here. Especially the Cobb salad with tri-tip. We always order their salad when I’m in town.
Food was fantastic... I had a tri-tip steak sandwich... The steak was cooked to perfection...Onion rings were a great option in place of French fries. Venue was open... Many TV's playing various sporting events. A little noisy, but part of the atmosphere. I'll come back next time I get to Bakersfield.
Good tri-tip sandwich. Ribs were moist and smoky. It is extremely LOUD and chaotic. Loud music, loud crowd, loud shouting of numbers. Best advice is get it to go and go.
9/3/2022 - Tried the Cheese Burger and wife staied with Tri-tip.. the burger is just okay.. nothing special.. will revert back to Tri-tip sandwich and Furestone Salad next time. Great place to hangout. 6/4/2022 - Tri-tip and Firestone salad 5/28/2022 - This has become a MUST stop every time we are in town.. Firestone Salad add Tri-Tip, garlic bread.. all very good. Our last visit, wife and I shared Tri-Tip sandwich and a Large Firestone salad. Awesome spot to people watch as well in addition to Sports Bar feel. 4/30/2022 - Tri-Tip & Pull Pork sandwiches and Onion Rings were Amazing. Definitely will be back for more
This place is awesome. I saw already it was a 4 out of 5 star review of over 300. So me and my girlfriend had to stop in on the way home from LA and I'm so glad we did. Basket field has a gem with this place. Th atmosphere. People working here and the food were fantastic. 5 out of 5 in my book. A definite stop next time heading down and back home from LA. Wow. The amount of food given is crazy. For a greater price.
Fast friendly service, walk-in place your order and within a few minutes you have awesome BBQ. I’m here on business from Texas and trust me when I say the Tritip sandwich is on point with large portions at a decent price. Looking forward to when they open inside dinning and open up that big bar , looks like a fun place to hang out with TV’s everywhere.
Great food, fair price. I had an Italian sandwich...THE BEST..LOTS OF raw onions on a sweet mustardy sauce..👌👌👌
Great atmosphere! Outstanding food and drinks! Never disappoints 🤙
Firestone Grill is the ancillary restaurant to Dog House Grill in Fresno. Conveniently located at 99 and California Avenue, it is an easy in and out for a relaxing lunch or to grab an adult beverage and watch the many large screen TV’s. A sports bar atmosphere coupled with great food, will put you in a relaxing mood for the rest of the day. A very large centered bar with ample large screens beckons those who are by themselves and wish to eat and refresh while catching the latest game of whatever sport they like. For those patrons that came to satisfy their hunger, well be prepared for some great grub with ample portion sizes. You have to place your food order at the counter using large menu screens or peruse the menu at your table scanning the QR code with your phone. Once you have decided on what will please your appetite, you then proceed to the counter to place your order. You are given a pick up number on your receopt when your food is ready. I have eaten at both of these restaurants and the food is consistently good. I would highly recommend either of these places to relax, eat great food, watch sports, people watch and just have a fun time. You will not be disappointed.
Honestly this place was damn good One of the best burgers I've had in a long time they were more than happy to customize it and make sure I got exactly what I wanted they don't charge for ranch which is great because some places do just saying and you walk in you go to the counter you order and then they call out your number and then you take it you go to your seat and you pick up your food when they call your number so even though it's not table service one of the employees came over and asked if I needed anything and she got a box for me and another ranch and it was a little loud in there but I think it's kind of like a sports restaurant kind of lake Buffalo wild wings they have a bunch of TVs playing sports and they have a bar so if you're interested in drinking they have that too overall I'd say the food was really really good especially for the price and a side of fries is massive it's like an appetizer at other places.
Firestone Grill, a place of smoked meats and hearty fare, called to me. Among its offerings, I chose the tri-tip sandwich, enhanced with lettuce, tomato, jack cheese, and fried jalapeños. Each bite was a perfect balance—tender meat, crisp toppings, and just the right heat. The onion rings were golden and crisp, the fries expertly prepared. Yet, a disturbance in the Force—only Lipton fountain tea, where fresh-brewed options would bring true harmony. A small flaw in an otherwise masterful experience. Strong in flavor and quality, Firestone Grill is. Return, I shall.
We stopped here by chance on a long journey to Los Angeles. It's a loud and energetic atmosphere, with television screens showing different sports matches all around and a bar in the central position. There are two different options available to you: 1. Choose a table and have waiter service, or 2. Order straight from the counter and they call your number over a microphone when it's ready to collect. We opted for full waiter service. Admittedly the counter would have been quicker but our server was so friendly and attentive. The food is good old all-American, hearty BBQ fare. Portions are very generous and fantastic value for money. Drinks are refillable. We really enjoyed our meal.
By far, the best ribs and fries in town. They are not shy with their portions, and the food tastes delicious. If you order a basket of fries, it is enough to feed a family of 4. My wife usually get the Tri Tip sandwich and is never able to finish it because of how much meat they add in it. The ribs have a smoky flavor to them, and they are very soft, which is a plus since I have sensitive teeth. I highly recommend this place. Have yet to try their burgers, but they look delicious.
We came to have warm food for dinner. This was our first time in this place. We found it through google maps - it had tons of good reviews. I can say we made a good choice. It was easy to find the place following google maps navigations. Outside the place there is a large parking, but all the spots were taken - the place is obviously very popular. This place is like a fast food restaurant but with healthier options. At the center of the restaurant is a bar, to the right of the entrance is a counter for ordering food. The place is large - plenty of tables, TVs with sport channels on the walls. The place was packed with people - it felt more like a bar on a Friday evening. Many people were ordering beers and snacks but plenty were after food. On the menu they had sandwiches, burgers, salads, including vegetarian options. We ordered an Italian sausage sandwich with side fries and a large Cobb salad with beef. The food arrived quite fast. Everything was fresh and tasty. The only thing I disliked was plenty of strong spices on the fries - but that’s my personal choice, I prefer having them just salty. We were dining inside, took a place by the window. The tables were clean. I noticed how the waiters were cleaning shortly after customers had left, great job! Overall a great place with positive atmosphere, great prices and decent food.
Definitely check this place out when you’re in the Bakersfield area! It was a spontaneous visit after a recommendation, and we were really glad we went. The place was pretty packed, but it had a great atmosphere. The service was incredibly fast, and their salads were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
I’ve been here several times and have always loved their food. The tri-tip is some of the best around, on their tri-tip sandwich they pile the meat on, it’s served on a grilled roll, it’s delicious and huge, I always take half home with me. This place gets busy and loud. They have a full bar in the center of dining room, you can eat at bar. This is a sports bar/grill, with excellent food and approximately 20 wide screens surrounding the area. Employees have always been friendly and fast.
Firestone Grill in Bakersfield, California, is a popular spot for BBQ and American-style food. This restaurant is known for its world-famous tri-tip sandwiches, burgers, and ribs, all served in a casual, sports bar-like atmosphere. Some of the favorites include the Firebird sandwich, tri-tip steak sandwiches, and the Pig Sandwich (a shredded pork option)
Best tri tip sandwich so far, my grandson and I split a sandwich fries and salad the side salad's large enough for family it was delicious 2nd visit, we had the ribs. My grandson says they tie with prime time for the best ribs in town so far. Prices are good for what you get. The rib plate includes seven nice sized ribs, meaty and tender, and your choice of salad or beans. You can get your ribs with the sauce on or on the side. We ordered the sauce on the side.
Always good to come in for a midday lunch. Always lively here in a good way. I couldn't finish the monster burger😄
Came here for my birthday. Great food and great atmosphere!!! It was a but confusing as first timers ordering since they have a section for the bar where they have tables also and servers come take your order and a section for sitdown where you order at the register and your # gets called out and you pick up your order at the counter. We had the trip sandwich, pig sandwich, ABC burger, wings and fries. Everything was delicious. Wings were very tasty. Lots of food and lots of labor. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.
My first and only visit (so far) for lunch was a delight. For just a bit more than the typical fast food chain will cost, I had a very generously portioned and flavorful pulled pork sandwich in a very interesting, even a bit exciting atmosphere. The wait staff was very helpful with a couple suggestions that improved our experience.
I've been to Firestone Grill in Bakersfield a few times. If I lived in or near Bakersfield, I'd be here all the time. But when my travels take me through Bakersfield at lunch time, Firestone Grill is high on my priority list. The restaurant offers a variety of things to eat: burgers, salads, chicken, hot dogs.... I haven't tried any of those. What keeps me coming back is the tri-tip sandwich. The sandwich consists of several generous slices of medium-cooked tri-tip stacked inside a warm, buttered bun. The meat is juicy and flavorful and topped with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. It really is delicious! For my most recent trip to Firestone Grill I was accompanied by my two adult boys who also ordered tri-tip sandwiches. To accompany our sandwiches we ordered baskets of fries and onion rings. The fries are a shoestring variety, crispy, and seasoned. The onion rings are breaded and provide a nice crunch and the onion inside is sweet and flavorful. Everything we ate was outstanding. The restaurant has a lively sports-bar feel with flat screen TVs scattered throughout the building. It's a bit noisy, but not so noisy that you can't converse with others at your table. This time was different from my previous visits because they added a full-serve section as well as a counter-serve section. I'm not sure why they thought this was necessary, but then again, I'm not in the restaurant business. I now live in South Carolina and visit my family in California two or three times a year. But when I come back to the golden state, Firestone Grill beckons me back for some great tri-tip.
The burgers came out perfectly cooked on the outside, juicy on the inside, the wings… absolute fire! Crispy on the outside, tender inside, (spicy enough to make you sweat, but not cry). I paired them with some ranch dip
The industrial atmosphere lends itself well to the fast paced food delivery system. From the friendly greeting to the efficient bussers swooping in, Firestone Grill operates like well oiled machine! You choose - either table/bar service, or take out line. The food, perfect preparation, and presentation far exceeded my expectations. The prices are surprising for the high quality experience, overall. You won't regret this choice. We will be back...soon!
Amazing place cheap food fantastic quality great drink selection slightly louder atmosphere but it's a sports bar restaurant so it's expected however you can still very easily talk amongst your group without too much trouble at all service is rapid and seating plentiful but you gotta grab it quick very highly recommended and dearly missed.
Had to come back and try the food again as it had been several years since I last visited and was not disappointed. I got the tri tip sandwich which was so moist and tender and meat literally melted when I took a bite and those ranch beans. Had not tried them before and was disappointed that I only got 1 order as they were by far the best beans I have had in awhile. I wish I would have ordered at least 1 more of them but at least this will be my excuse to go back out to get more of them. They were so delicious and meaty. I also ordered the tri tip Cobb salad which was great and filling. Place is really cool and great place to hang out with family and friends to watch the game and eat great food. Would definitely recommend to everyone to drop by
Staff is super friendly and attentive. I had the pig. Pulled pork with coleslaw all on a nice bun. Plus we did fries and onion rings perfectly cooked. All in all a great upbeat experience.
I love the tri-tip cobb salad. The salad portions are huge. The fries are really good too! The prices are good but even better during happy hour. Great experience with great food. There’s a bar area where you can watch sports.
The tri tip sandwiches are so good. Simple but delicious. The Cobb salad with tri tip is a large portion of lettuce, bell pepper, onion, bacon and tri tip. I ask for no cheese but I am sure the cheese portion is large. I love the unique bbq sauce and ranch dressing. It's fresh ranch. The employees are friendly and quick. They pay attention. The atmosphere is busy and loud, with large TVs all over. I don't enjoy the loudness but others might.
My Uber driver the night before recommended this place. He was spot on. My coworkers and I travel up and down California for work. We have found some really good tri-tip and we have found some really bad tri-tip. This Tri-Tip sandwich rocks! The salad, just the basic side salad, was enormous. Way too much for me, and I'm a fat guy. The drinks were great. (It's hard to screw up tap beer.) Happy that they have Cali Squeeze on tap. Shelby made an amazing jalapeno margarita. And let me give more props to Shelby. She can carry on a great conversation. Even when they were trying to close the bar and clean things up. She was genuinely attentive and we had a great chat. Hell, I may even get a tattoo now. LOL My work has given me more opportunity to be in the Bakersfield area, and this will definitely be one of my new stops!
I love this place. Whether im in the mood for a bacon burger or a cobb salad, they have me covered. Don't be fooled by the word "small" on the menu, the portions are not small. For lunch on Thursday I ordered a small Cobb salad with tri tip and a small onion ring. The salad could be a large anywhere else and is loaded down with tri tip, and the onion rings come in a basket. Even though it looked busy our food was ready quickly and we had no problem staying within our lunch hour.
Food was spot on . Service was great even with a packed building. Food was put in a flash . Flavors delicious. Plenty of parking but if getting there at night and busy may have to park in dark shady spots. Overall great tasting food at a really great price ...definitely going back to try other things on the menu....
Great place been coming here for a few years now and the food has stayed very consistent. I get the tri-tip sandwich and baked beans. Both are amazing. They also have great fries but all there food is pretty good. Definitely a must try if your craving good bbq in Bako.
So you want an amazing tri tip sandwich? Well this is the place to go. This is my favorite place to stop on the drive to and from LA. My husband and I share the tri tip sandwich and the side of fries. The tri tip is so tender, and the barbecue sauce is so delicious! I love the seasoning on the fries, they are super good too. All around it’s an amazing meal, 10/10.
Food was and is amazing not one complaint about it at all!! Every thing is amazing! My wife had the veggie burger and that was on point , i jad the wings and those bad boys where beyond crispy tender and juicy all in one!! Super fire and the basket of fries is just the add on! Delicious all the way around!! Drinks: wife got a Shirley temple which was delish, i got a MICHELADA WITH MODELO, AND THAT WAS THE ONLY NO FOR ME! ITS NOT A MICHELADA ITS A BLOODY MARY AND WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT , I WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED , other than that its always a pleasure going there!!
Firestone was a great experience the food was amazing at a great price. I tried the tri tip sandwich which was plentiful and cheap. My wife ate the pig which is a huge portion of pulled pork on a French roll . The pints of beer are only 5 bucks you can't go wrong, I saw some really huge salads for only 11 or so all and all lots of televisions so enjoy your sports and grab the eats you will not be disappointed.
Firestone Grill in Bakersfield is a standout dining spot that nails a perfect blend of quality and efficiency with its conveyor-style service. The limited yet high-quality grilled meats are cooked to perfection, and the full bar offers an impressive selection of beers, making it a great pairing for any meal. I loved the self-service approach with attentive staff quietly clearing away dishes, keeping the table tidy without interrupting your experience. The design is charming, with the bar and order counter thoughtfully separated, creating a great flow. Plus, the big screen TVs make it the ideal spot to hang out with friends and catch your favorite game. Highly recommended for any occasion!
First time visit. Definitely a sports bar atmosphere. Extremely noisy. Ear ringing an hour later. I had a Southwestern salad. Fresh lettuce, small amount of grilled chicken and even smaller amount of avocado. On the heavy side was too much red onions and thinly sliced red bell peppers. Corn seemed fresh and had the right amount. Had the Southwestern dressing which was a little spicy but not overdone. With it being 98 degrees at 8pm I had a Walker Firestone Cold 805 beer.
Great tri tip tacos. It's a little loud. They have lots of TV screens. Salads are huge and fries were good.
Nice spot with tons of TVs. Definitely a sports bar feel. You order and pay at the register before sitting down and then you pick up your order when they call your number. The bar is located in the central area of the establishment and the bartenders all seemed very attentive. The food was fast and good. I had the tritip Cobb salad and my fiance had a cheeseburger. I realized quickly I should have ordered the small salad. The bowl was massive and even after having my fill I had enough left to completely fill a box to take home. The fry basket was also massive, we split it into half fries and half onions rings. Both were very delicious. The staff was super friendly and I enjoyed the scenery, even if it wasn't what I expected.
The small serving for the Tri Tip Cobb salad was huge and delicious! I ordered it with the southwest salad dressing that I think was a mistake, because it took away from the tri tip. Burger was decent, very filling, not very pretty but juicy. The onion rings were great… sorry before the blurry picture. The atmosphere is a little too much… noisy and unorganized, most of the tables were dirty. Windows were plastered with hand prints. There were a lot of families and children, considering it has a huge bar in the middle of the dining room area. Exterior of the restaurant needs sprucing up to make it more welcoming. I would go back, maybe not on a Friday.
Sports Bar type, screen TV monitors around the bar area, all other dining for 4 basically, but can be set up for more in groups. When busy, it is loud in there. The salads are great for lunch and very large. Really liked the meats and food selection here. Way to go guys
The pulled pork sandwich and the tritip sandwich were amazing!! The fries were too salty for us. A side of fries serves 2-4. It looked like the basket serves 4-8! The buns were like toasted garlic bread. So great fast service and kind staff!
Took a pitstop at Bakersfield and saw that this was highly rated and had to try it. It didn't disappoint! We had the tri-tip sandwich and the ribs which came with a side of baked beans. The tri-tip sandwich was outstanding. Tender, well seasoned meat complemented with a crusty white bread. Ribs were a little too salty for my palette but still tender with a good bite. The baked beans were great, although a little sweet.
The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. It did get loud a couple of times but nothing too bad. My only problem is the female's restroom. One stall the door is broken which isn't noticed until you are in it. Whenever thr big stall opens that's when you notice the door is broken because the stal doorl opens. Super annoying! Then the 2nd stall the toilet splash everywhere when flushing, no bueno. Please fix them.
I was in the mood for some barbecue pulled in from out of town. Bought myself a hole rack of ribs and I have to say they were quite good. The only thing I couldn't they couldn't prove upon is their sides. They had no mac and cheese. They had no potato salad. They only had like fast food sides but the meat was good. No brisket either.
This place is great. We got ribs, wings, fries and a tri-tip salad. Ribs were nice and tender. The wings were were crispy, perfectly seasoned and fall off the bone. The fries were too salty. They had way too much seasoning in my opinion. Tri-tip salad was by far the best salad I have ever had. They had a great portion of meat on it. The tri-tip was so perfectly seasoned, no added dressing was needed for the salad. However, if you choose to put dressing it pairs well. Atmosphere was lively. There were several games on the screens to view so everyone got to see what they liked. Bartenders were friendly and service was quick. This is a place I definitely recommend.
Place was packed , food came out quick. We got the tritip tacos and some drinks. Food was good. Gave them 1 star less due to sauce being a bit lacking in flavor. Possibly it was just a bad batch. If we stop by again I'll update post. Other than that Great service all around. Will be stopping next time we head south for our next travel plans.
This place is super busy all the time. I think its due to their simplicity but also very good at what they do. The food that they make is very good for a sports bar. Its my favorite place in all of Bakersfield. I usually attend here 2 nights a week for food and sports. The spicy wings are fantastic, the Tri-Tip sandwich is out of this world. Then the side of fries and onion rings they give you is insane. The ranch is fantastic and the staff are always friendly. Love this place.
I love the food. I think the burger here bits In & Out, Thr spicy chicken wings are out of this world. The salads and the dressing are amazing. I like the full service option but i wish there was someone by the door to tell you of the two options they have because we sat for long without being served until i approached a server and he said we are seated in the wrong side.
Looked good from the outside, food was okkkkay. Nothing amazing. Ordered wings, but they were very small. Got veggie burger... They offered lots of additional toppings though. Kids ordered a burger, grilled cheese and a hot dog. Nothing exciting. But the bar area was pretty packed and they had the UFC on. Service was good and fast.
I really wanted to be able to give 5-stars, and I enjoyed my visit and will go again, but their ribs were very disappointing. You usually hear about “fall off the bone” ribs; these were “gnaw off the bone” ribs — and I still couldn’t clean the bones, no matter how much gnawing I did! However, the beans were delicious. The garlic bread was subpar; I didn’t even taste a hint of garlic. I was told the next day that I should have ordered their tri-tip sandwich. That didn’t surprise me because the beans had some tri-tip in them and it was fabulous. The service was good. I liked the atmosphere. Plenty of TVs so you could see the game you’re interested in no matter where you’re sitting. The beer prices were very reasonable (I think it might have been happy hour pricing).
Not terrible but not great. The fries were good and I like the vibe of the place. There are lots of tv's to see the game of your choice which is nice. I got a burger and my husband got the tri tip sandwhich. The burger was fine just not anything special. My husband wasn't a fan of the tri tip he said it was tough and he wouldn't recommend it. Overall ok experience. I like flame burger better!
Very lively very loud. They have two sections one were you can sit down and be served with a waiter and everything or you order at the front counter and just sit down like any fast food restaurant. Ordered two cheeseburgers one with avocado and bacon and one plain. They were very mediocre as far as burgers go, whatever the cheese is that they use is amazing. Ordered a basket of fries and it's enough for 4+ people. They are crispy and very well seasoned.
Normally love this place, but today their order announcements were ear-piercingly loud, my wife and I had to shout over constant blaring order calls and still couldn't hear eachother at times. I understand order callouts is part of the restaurant service delivery style, but do they have to be so blaringly loud? Good Lord! I'm sure people waiting for food and actively listening could still easily hear their order numbers if the mic volume was half as loud.
The biggest issue with this restaurant is you're watching the game on the many TVs but constantly you hear order numbers called from the loud speaker. There are two sides of the restaurant with the first area full service and the back area self-serve that you order at the counter. I wish they had a number board (like a keno board) instead to make a more pleasurable dining experience. The veggie burger was good. The fries were skinny fries.
"Full Service" is terrible, once they bring you your food they never talk to you again or check on you ever, good thing I could go get more soda myself. As for the food, everyones tastes are different but i didnt like it, the ribs were too gummy, the chili beans were sweet which i didnt appreciate, and the fries were way too salty, and I had to dust every single one off. Will not come again.
Lot of the reviews say it's really good, but I can find better BBQ food that's better.
The food is MID. It’s conveniently located off the freeway but it’s definitely not great. The food is just ok. The service is good though.
Went to eat hear for lunch around 1pm, paid for my food watched the cooks cook and saw a guy dealing with the meat and sandwiches Bare Handed, and then stoped to grab his phone, touch his nose then, go right back to work. No washing, no plastic gloves nothing. How disgusting is that. Who gave them an A.
