Great bartenders the night I went for a close friend's show, very friendly atmosphere and much appreciate the doorman checking IDs weeding out the undesirables.

Perfect dark n seedy spot to come and hang out with your weird and unusually awesome friends.

Never a dull moment,my wife and I have been coming to this bar for years. Casual attire, great drinks at great prices. Outdoor courtyard is great for watching spurs games in the summer. Wide range of music for the people who love music of Any genre. The chamoylada pica pina shot pickle shot chamoy shots are great Bomba Roja and many other great tasting drinks. The staff is great.

Music was awesome. People were great. The only bad thing really was the parking situation. But that's not their fault. Overall great experience though.

Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this place. Felt so accepting and welcoming. DJ Melón was there the night I went and I enjoyed their mix. Hoping to come back again next time I am in San Antonio.

Great drinks and prices. Shots are tasty too: pickle shot, chamoy shot, paleta shot, mexican candy shot, and more. Music is alternative and varies from oldies to local rock. Usually a younger, hip crowd here, everyone's pretty laid back and friendly.

I have to tell you this bar had great customer service! The patrons were having fun and well behaved. It was a punk rock show on Friday! Had the time of my life!

In the past, they would always be out of IPA beers when I'd ask, but this last visit they actually had a large IPA can for only $5! When people aren't going out because beers are to expensive to accompany live music, it seems they're adapting and even advertising their specials on the board there. Hopefully they're also sharing this through social media, but I didn't see this on Facebook. I only found out about it after I got there...

I busted my ass walking to hi tones lol. But the front door man was awesome he had a band aid on deck when I asked him haha . Other than that vibes are cool and if you are easily to get over stimulated the second bar is a chill spot to go to!!

This is a great place to hang out the drinks are a decent price and there's actually three bars in this one location that are pretty cool one is a goth bar one is a normal bar with a DJ and then there's an upstairs bar called Holy Diver that is a really cool Tiki Bar.

This bar/venue is great to check out on The Strip, especially if you are keeping a low profile😉 Went with my homie after a show, and the single female bartender was killing it. Didn't have much of a wait between orders. Kudos to her! I really enjoyed the Purple Rain, Pina Pina shot, Chamoy shot, and La Necia. Everything is reasonably priced, and seating outside is spaced out well. That Selena pinata is so rad!😎

Love this place!! One of my favorite small venues and bars in SATX. There's cool art all over the walls and there's a really cute patio area and bar. The vibes in there are really good. They have great drink specials. And the bartender, Joe, is super cool! They are known for their Pickle shot and Chamoy shot which are both really tasty. I like pickle juice..so I'm happy getting drunk off of it. Haha. I definitely recommend coming here for a show or just to stop in for some drinks while in San Antonio!

Ugh the bathrooms! Ladies need more than one, but that's literally it. Everything else is great!! The dance space, the DJs at Emo night were amazing. Drink specials were absolutely amazing and bartenders as sweet as can be. Go out and have a blast!

Very active nightlife. Indoor and outdoor bars. Outdoor bar accepts cash only, but indoor bar accepts card. ATM on-site if needed. I recommend the Ghetto Paloma! It's a great citrusy drink to start off the night. Sweet little place. Outdoor seating available.

Part of the historic St. Mary's strip. Place has been around for 6 years. Great drink special with a great emphasis of the Latino culture of San Antonio. Pickle shots are their house special. Check out if you want to know where the locals hang out.

Went this past Saturday for the Bruk Out party. Now that is a real Latin Party! Not like all those other places that claim to be "the greatest Latin party" while no one is dancing.... or only play 2 Selena songs then trap the rest of the night... I hope to see more Bruk Out at HI Tones. It is a good location and the bartenders are great!

This bar is awesome! I loved the Latino touches throughout. It felt authentic, not gimmicky. The drinks were great. loved the Mango Loco, but the real star is the Purple Rain. If you love rum, get this drink! They also have a good deal for a beer and a shot. The bathrooms are foul, so go beforehand!

I've only been here a few times over the years. It's kind of tight inside, the spacing..the way it's laid out..so if you like your space like I do..makes it a little uncomfortable. Staff seemed friendly enough..be it a little judgemental..lol. Door guy made fun of me walking in high heels 😆 probably because their parking is gravel,ang their entrance perched on an incline. Still I always manage.. he says "How are you walking in those?!" (Stilettos) I said "Magic!" And he rudely commented back "that's Not magic!" S**t attitude voice. Lol.. I didn't review the club based on that...buuuut..that was the opener.

I've been here while densely crowded and again while it was fairly empty. My preference is the empty spot with good drinks and calm vibe. They could do with friendlier service though. I mean the place was pretty much empty after all.

Very good band play here. The only thing is very little place and very crowded. If you not like places with lot of people very close to you is not you place to party and have drinks. But is a very good place I like it.

Bar tender was cool and pretty quick with the service. They have karaoke at location. Kind of a rocker type of place.

Lots of great memories made here due to the cheap prices on the drinks. The house shots are clever, but they're not that great. The live music is a plus; the size of the place and the restrooms are a negative. Friday and Saturday are nights where it's a pain to walk through or get a drink; due to capacity, it will also get VERY hot in there. I also feel the inside restrooms are in a bad location.

The chamoy shots were good, I don't really drink, I only go to bars if there's a band I want to see playing but at this last show it was really long wait times so I ended up walking down saint Mary's for something to eat between every set because it was so long in between.

After they charge me $10 I realized that I´m at the wrong place after less than 1 min I went back to get my money back but they didn´t give it back, it is ugly place to be.

Cop at the gate is horrible. Assumed my friend is drunk. Was literally rude. Never coming back.

Francisco won’t let a group of 3 in to close a tab it’s 1:49 and refused to get a manager. Says we have to wait until the bar is closed to close an open tab.

Generally has great music, but after my run in with that tub of lard working the door I'm done. Grow a sense of humor tough guy.

BEWARE! My car got towed from their parking lot even though I was a patron at their bar (I have my receipts too!) I parked at HiTones around 9:30 pm, went in & had some drinks. Got a call from my friend & met up with her to get some food at El Regio & then went back into Hi-Tones for a few more drinks. My friend went to put her purse in my car & it was gone. The owner had the bouncer call a towing company. Had to pay over $220 to get my car out & now have to go to court to contest the charges. How are you going to be towing patrons vehicles on a weekday? We were literally the only people at your bar! No wonder it was empty.

Went for my friend's 30th bday and she had a paper license bc it had expired and they didn't let us in. We had been bar hopping around there and no one else has a problem with her paper ID.

Will never be going back the bartenders will charge you whatever price they want got 2 drinks was charged 9 got another 2 same drinks another bartender charged me 13.... went for emo night aside from the fact they didn't really play emo it was more like karaoke night for this guy never stopped singing specially louder than the actual music....

Bouncers are usually mean and rude. Drinks arent good and atmosphere is cheap. There's better bars that are near. Just walk over to one instead of this hole.

They try to charge you for entering the bar. I do not support this business practice. If you accept this, you will be having sub subscriptions for bars and restaurants 10 years from now.

Hi, I was at hi tones tonight and Keanu was verbally and physically trying to assault my partner. Multiple times did he berate and try to snatch her beverage out of her hands while it was still well before closing and she had only the one drink. I find this unacceptable for an establishment even on the strip.
