Went for three breakfast tacos and was happy I did. The chicharron in salsa verde and chicharron and egg tacos were very good, but the star was the lengua guisada. I ate it last and immediately regretted not having three of them. First time having lengua guisada anywhere in San Antonio and now it may be my favorite taco. The stewed tongue had a flavorful sauce and chunks of tomato. Try this taco. The place itself was roomy, bright, and clean. Friendly staff.

The staff was friendly. Wait time was short. I ordered the Beef Fajita plate and lemonade. The food was excellent and the beverage was very refreshing. Lots of value for the money spent.

Service is good. The tortillas are so soft and really good 😋. I'm not a fan of any restaurant that puts picadillo in beef tacos or beef enchiladas. My mom ordered puffy tacos, and I ordered beef enchiladas . There was alot of potatoes in each of our dishes. The beans could have used some flavor. I settled for one of my delicious tortillas with butter. Maybe I'll try their barbacoa next time. ❤️

I can not believe I paid $15 for 3 crispy Picadillo tacos and a lemonade. I thought it was a plate with rice and beans and all I got was 3 tacos. Never again, so sad bc they are right down the street.

Check your receipt carefully! They charged me $6 for a single Rocaleta and $1 for one Duvalín, which is absolutely ridiculous. When I brought it up, they gave a half-hearted “oh sorry.” On top of that, they charged for a to-go cup even though we dined in. When I asked about it, the server said, “Well, we use those because kids spill.” I explained that I never asked for it, but they still didn’t make it right. Disappointing service and shady charges—we won’t be coming back.

I picked up a lunch special for 4.99 requested no beans and was charged 2.00 for the modification. That's almost half of the cost for the entire meal. Had I been informed prior before my card was charged I wouldn't have asked for no beans.

I've been coming here for years, my son who is autistic and a picky eater loves the potato and egg tacos from here. I always ask for the potato to be extra crispy since that's the way my son likes them. Today after paying I noticed they were charging me for $3 dollars extra and I asked why and they said they charge extra to make the potatos crispy since they usually have the potato and egg made already. Thats's outrageous! So even after having the potato and egg sitting there they wan't to charge more to make the potato crispy? That's crazy I payed $10 for three potato and egg tacos. And if your order plates to go they also charge for the to go plates! One less customer for them!

I ordered Avena to go and it was nothing but milk. I brought it back and complained and they wouldn't do anything about it. I get that it has milk but i would like at least some oatmeal. So, I left it on the counter and walked out. Rude and will not be going back.

I been going to Tony’s since I was 14 I’m 35 now the food “USE” to be good .Bean and cheese was my favorite…. Now idk who the cook is but Goddd damnn the beans suckkk bad … there watery you get a couple of hard ones and NO FLAVOR!! I wonder if they taste there own food that they are selling for high prices… the potatoe and egg 🥚 well some of the papas are very hard because there raw one time my egg was watery raw…. Like come on people… NASTY 🤢…. Sometimes I feel like saying give me a potato and egg but hold the shells…. Cause I be crunching on those too… Man today I went and ordered something different than my usual chorizo and egg… NOMBREEE !!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE THE CHORIZO DOSENT TATSTE LIKE CHORIZO and the egg was watery bad !! I didn’t eat it … THEY NEED TO CHECK THE COOK or something because there too pricey for the quality of food they be serving the customers … SAME OWNER TOO I USE TO WORK THERE WHEN I WAS around 19 and the I remember we would go in early like 4 am and start cooking and setting up … One of the line girls still works there she’s friendly and amazing….But other than that I think I’m done giving them “another chance” I guess a part of me wants to believe the beans will get better flavor maybe it was a bad batch but noooo …. It’s been like that for about a year .

I was really excited about this place because I love breakfast tacos and there aren't many places open before 6 between my apartment and work. This place advertises being open at 0530 Monday through Friday (Sundays different hours) on google and on their sign. I show up at 0541 today on my way to work and am greeted by a locked door. There was a truck outside and lights on on the inside but the door was locked. As I'm trying to take a picture for this review a lady in an apron unlocks the door and opens it to tell me that they're closed. I asked her what time they open and she just says they're closed again... which was obvious at that point. Then I realize she doesn't really speak English so I asked her in Spanish why they're closed because their sign says Monday through Friday open at 0530. She replies in Spanish that they're open on Sundays too. Maybe my Spanish isn't very good, because that didn't answer why they were closed TODAY! Thursday, May 9th. So I just asked her in Spanish "Not open today" and she said no, not today in Spanish. I guess I'm just pretty disappointed, with little time to get to work, and operating off they're posted days and hours that I left empty handed when they could've easily posted a sign outside saying why they weren't open and why. Just a simple courtesy.
