The food is great & the service is just as good. My mom has been going there for sometime. She's 86 & struggles to get around. When they see her coming they stand w/the door open & escort her to the table of her choice. I've never been disappointed wthe service & good food. They're only open till 2pm so get there early.

First eating here at Las Cazuelas, my Mom and Grandson joined me was very good nice people will visit again..

The place is amazing and very family friendly, especially big families like ours. Have not tried the Margaritas or any of their beers yet, but I hope to do so soon. Great food, and great service. I highly recommend you try it at least once.

Just ate lunch there. I had the chicken fajita nachos. They were delicious! Tender white meat chicken fajita strips, fresh cut corn tortilla chips, meted cheddar cheese, refried beans, sour cream and jalapeños and a sweet tea! Waiter was quick, food came out fast and the manager Jose was super friendly.

Love this place. The food is always good from taking it to go to dining in. My favorite taco to eat there is the beef fajita with guacamole. Everything is delicious, even their cheese burgers are tasty. The staff are always friendly and on top of things, even when they are super busy. Only wish they were open a little later. ☺

This was our first time there and it was a great experience great food tacos or a bit expensive and a bit small. I don't know if that's a good thing or not! But everything was on point and tasted very very good! Customer service was also outstanding!

My first time eating at a true Mexican restaurant. I started off small with their potato and egg taco. It was very good. I alo had my first extremely large glass of sweet tea. I enjoyed my first experience with Mexican food, and really enjoyed the prompt and courteous server Rosey. Thanks for the bottomless cup of coffee. Parking was right at the entrance. Going again.

First time there. Chilaqules plate, refried beans and fried potatoes. Two home made corn tortillas. Had a large Bag Red. The Fiesta Beef Enchiladas with a yellow cheese cream sauce. With rice and beans. Made with flour tortillas!!! OMG!!! Such a unique flavor. Will Definitely get them again. The ambiance was wonderful. Nice family place. Will come here again.

I love this place. They have this one plate tortilla soup with a flauta.. *chefs kiss* the meat is full of flavor and it even comes with gauc sour cream and rice. If they ever get rid of this plate I will cry.

Very delicious, we had an amazing breakfast. The plates were huge. The food had great taste and service was fast and efficient. The place closes at 230 which is unfortunate. I can imagine having a big dinner there. They also serve alcohol and margaritas if you in the mood for a drink.

Great food, always has been for as long as I've been going there. But service is falling apart, long wait time and really don't take care of you through out your eating experience.

Excellent restaurant, we arrived around 1:25 but felt rushed to finish eating around 1:45 as they started cleaning "because they close at two". Great tasting food and service. Go earlier or go elsewhere if you want to enjoy a long business lunch.

Every time we go, we get awesome service, great food, and the portions are huge!! No wait time, easy parking. I did see a change in tortillas, but you have to try it for yourself. Most of all easy on pocket book, thank you cazuelas!!

Usually this place is good. My eggs were overcooked. Pancakes were okay.

Pork chop and Huevo Ranchero plate was good, small portions but great taste and good service !

So, the service was great, and the food was served fresh and hot. A big plus that can often be overlooked at many Mexican restaurants. The only drawback was the lack of space. It felt a little cramped, although maybe the fact that we were a party of 11 might have had a little to do with it. Other than the lack of space, the tortillas were great, and their breakfast tacos were on point. Recommended for sure.

Stopped by on a whim and didn't regret it. We were greeted and seated promptly (party of 3) for being a busy Sunday brunch time. The prices were a little above average for the serving size, but the taste was pretty good. Would definitely come again.

I Guess there is a new COOK IN THE KITCHEN because, I went back to this Restaurant on Dec 10, 2025 and I ordered the Chicken Caldo. This Caldo was one of the Best Chicken Caldo’s i ever ordered❤️The chicken was soft, the vegetables were Fresh, the Caldo had a very good deliciousness taste. 2 years ago I ordered this Caldo de Rez it was ok , Caldo had no taste, meat needed to be cooked longer,the meat was not soft at all. This Caldo tasted old seemed it was reheated. Fajita Plate was High in Price but had a good taste but they were Greedy on the Fajita portion there was more Bell Pepper than Fajitas. Calabaza Con Pollo Plate was Good. They did have Military Discount. I’ll Come Again👍

They have a great selection of lunch and daily specials that are reasonably priced. The food was great. Our waitress was in training but she did a great job and was friendly. There's plenty of parking too and for good reason. While it wasn't packed when I went midweek, I'm sure it gets rather busy on the weekends.

Been her 3 times n the last time I ordered video loco which I had to ask for more beans it was good but this time around the video was like a whole box. Of video an in separate little containers which were only 2 n1/2 oz of beans N on the meat the same amount had to ask for more beans was good except for the cilantro taste not so good won't be coming any more

Good food but very slow service, they never brought my queso and chips and we had to ask several times to get refill on ice tea. They need more servers. Again, food was good and the waitress tried but she had too many tables. Not going back

Came here to check out their menudo, heard it was good. Well, it was good but I feel it could've been better. Needed more flavor, I thought. My wife had the tortilla soup. While it looked amazing, it was super salty. She couldn't eat it, ate what she could thou. The tortillas were good as was the service. Big place & very busy, I will come back & give them another shot.

Las Cazuelas has always been my to go to restaurant but lately the food is unacceptable (either overcooked or undercooked and salty) the waiters and waitresses are amazing, friendly and always making sure things are to our liking. Today was even worse because we waited 41 minutes for our food and I don’t understand why when the restaurant was about empty, not once did we get an apology for the wait, my daughter waited at least an hour before she got her straw we were never asked if we needed a refill in our drinks and waitress looked like she was having a bad day, restaurant manager never approached us to question how our meal was and was no where to be seen to complain. Worse part was that it was my first time taking a friend and I was so embarrassed by the whole situation. Going to reconsider ever going back!

The food was good, appeared clean but was a bit on the pricey side. I have a service animal and I was ok w being placed in the back. The manager requested my documents, which is okay. But I noticed he came around and was checking on us because the other table was being loud. Not trying to speculate, just seemed a little odd to me. Over all a decent experience.

Great place for breakfast tacos. They also have a drive thru now. Update: I would suggest not going on a Saturday. They get very busy. We were there for almost 2 hours and only had received our drinks. We were able to order but cancelled and left.

Very popular restraunt on the southside. I had the flautas and I was disappointed. The falutas were not crispy instead they were chewy in the middle. Rice and beans are decent. Flour tortillas were good. I will go back and try something else.

I’ve been to this location before so I figured I would get some breakfast tacos this morning. The wait in the drive-through was long. I ordered 6 bean and cheese, 2 asada a la Mexicana on corn and an asada on flour. My tacos were cold, my 2 on corn were not on corn and there was like nothing in the tacos. I will never eat there again

Used the drive thru for the first time and the service was fast. It was just after 12 pm too. Me and my wife ordered 3 bean n cheese and a potato n egg. It’s been more than 5 years since I’ve been to Las Cazuelas. Our family would celebrate birthday’s and gather every Saturday for breakfast when my parents were able to get out. The service and the food were great. Today, I went for breakfast and there was a problem with my food. The waitress complained to an older man and he came to my table with a frustrated attitude and blamed the “pandemic” I told him “I understand, That seems to be a problem every where you go.” I understand many places are short staffed. The food was no longer the problem it was the way He came to my table with a new plate but continued with his attitude and customers began to notice his tone. It made me feel uncomfortable so I decided it was best to leave. When the waitress was giving my husband the bill he grabbed it from her hand very angry and told her we didn’t have to pay. I don’t think he can handle the responsibilities given to him. He tried to blame me as a customer instead of his own frustration. He has no customer service skills he spoke in a tone of anger and frustration! And it was only 11am. If it weren’t for him I probably would have stayed and enjoyed my meal. Before leaving I did give the waitress her tip because she was caught in the middle of the problem and it was not her fault.

Eggs were nasty, potatoes were cold and hard. I refuse to go back to a restaurant that is only Spanish speaking. While I was there no one in there spoke any English.

Nothing wrong with the food, food is good the staff sucks, expects the customer to already know the menu, while their menu is not up-to-date. I paid ridiculous Outrageous prices. Where the menu say one thing online and when you go pick it up, it says a different price the manager and the cashier told me next time I should tell them how much are the tacos, made me feel stupid. I got 4 tacos and I spent $17.50!

A few days ago after work, I decided to stop by this restaurant because I was hungry. The food itself was good, but I felt very uncomfortable with the atmosphere due to the manager’s behavior. I noticed the manager speaking to several employees in a rude and dismissive tone, even in front of customers. This created an unwelcoming environment and made me uneasy throughout my meal. At one point, I almost considered leaving because the behavior felt unprofessional and unnecessary. All employees deserve to be treated with respect, and the way leadership interacts with staff greatly impacts the overall customer experience.

Decided to stop by since Cazuelas has a drive-thru option now. I ordered a small and large fideo soup (fideo loco). I was very disappointed in the serving size of the ground meat and beans. The small portions I received are almost ridiculous in comparison to the quantity of fideo. The large portion was okay. The small portion i definitely don't recommend. Lesson learned. And I'll go back to my regular place from now on.

I won’t recommend this place to anyone. I was eating at this place today with my family and it wasn’t a good experience. The manager made me feel very uncomfortable because of the way he was talking to one of the employees. He was very unprofessional because he was literally yelling at this employee. This man needs to respect his employees and costumers because I could hear how he loud he was. This place needs to fire this man or they will be out of business. It’s not the first time I see the manager disrespect employees and costumers.. and I would love to speak to HR ASAP!!

Maybe this is why I left still hungry. As another reviewer put that their father in law was last to get his plate and everyone finished their food before he even got his plate. Same thing happened to us. Enchiladas were hard but tasted decent. Chips were cold and salsa was like they opened a can of tomato sauce and put onion in it and warmed it up..horrible.... over priced and my nephews burger was sent back 3 times because the lady couldnt get it right. Not sure what is so hard about plain and dry burger with cheese and bacon only. They kept putting mayo on it and other ingredients. Used to be good but not so much anymore. Go somewhere else

If I had a choice the one star wouldn’t be there . We came in a group of 6 . We waited 33 minutes for tortillas , our plates were cold by the time we were all served we ended up sending 3 plates back because the eggs weren’t cooked all the way when we sent them back the manager had an attitude and only took 2 of them , one plate NEVER arrived to the table after waiting 49 minutes . Which happened to be my plate because they forgot to put the order in . Never going back .

The tacos had no flavor the coffee tasted like water and wasn't even hot. When giving the order 2 tacos on flower 1 chicken the other Carne guesada with cheese 1 coffee n 1 half tea half lemonade what they best was 3 taco 1 coffee and 2 sweat teas. And at whe window when asked if we wanted hot sauce and how many we said one and green n she heard 2 one of each..... how they got the rating they have baffles me.

i come here pretty often on my lunch break the food is great , but they’re VERY understaffed ! i usually have to wait for a table when there’s clearly open tables. i’ve made this comment multiple times but no one seems to care. it’s sad to see such a great place go down.

The only thing redeeming was the server was extra friendly. The chips were soggy and one was actual wet. The potato and egg were dried up and hard from sitting a long time in warmer. The tortillas were chewy and my toddler couldn't eat them. The prices compared to other places was high. Not worth it. First and last time here.

This place is filthy inside. I can’t believe they pass a health inspection. Not to mention, their hours online are wrong. We drove 45 minutes to get here and got here at 2:20. Met at the door by an absolutely rude lady who says we are closed. She says they close at 2, I show her online it says 3. She walks away. Unprofessional and filthy. This place was such a disappointment. Avoid at all cost. Food quality isn’t worth the price. Ordered four tacos and one drink and it was $14. Tortillas are machine made, cold and very thin. The potato and egg taco was the worst from my order. The egg was crusty and old. Tea was too sweet. Waiter took forever to come to our table (and it wasn’t even during a peak time). Unfortunately I won’t be back to this establishment.

This place is around the corner where I work. The food is good but honestly they could use more waiters. Every time I go they don’t have nothing ready cause they either on their phones or talking. Some of the workers do be having an attitude when you try to get their attention. I only have an hr lunch and not being able to enjoy my food on time when it’s so close is crazy.

My husband is a truck driver and sees this place full all the time. We decided to try the food. We did not enjoy the food at all. We were seated right away, we waited 20 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order, waited another 15 minutes for her to bring our drinks, she took our order. It took 50 minutes for us to receive our food. I ordered menudo which had pieces of bay leaf that overcame every other spice in the dish. My husband ordered chilequiles, it cool to the touch. We will not be returning. Very disappointed.

Ordered potato and egg tacos with cheese like at noon thru the drive thru. Surprisingly there was only one car in front of me. But parking was full. When i gor the tacos they were cold. Tortilla was cold.not even a sign that it was warmed up or anything, cheese was cold and not melting. Seems like the place is doing something rite for parking lot to be full but i would suggest not forgetting about your drive thru customers. I understand if flavor wasnt my cup of tea but how can you make a taco with a cold tortilla. Sorry not going back.

This definitely would not have been my first choice to go eat tacos. I bought from here for the purpose that it was free delivery on Uber eats. I ordered two carne guisada tacos and ate one didn’t bother to look at it I looked down as I was eating the second one and was disgusted to find hair in my taco automatically wondering if there was hair in the first one. I called the store the manager Julio didn’t seem to believe me. I told him it LOOKED like a mans facial hair (could’ve been from beard or any of the people back in the kitchens eyelash or eyebrows hair) and he responded with there’s no guys back here with beards and offered to replace my tacos. I didn’t want them and had no means of getting over there which is why I ordered Uber eats because I was at school. There red salsa was also not spicy at all. It tasted like strait tomato.🌚 Also I know it was a small hair but it is the fact of the matter!

I ordered tacos on my way to work as soon as i got to work I didnt get the correct order I was missing a taco and the one I had was cold. So disappointed I ordered food because I wanted hot food not slapped on cold food on a cold tortilla. Won't be coming back here.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, but my most recent visit left me shocked. The manager on duty behaved in a way that, in my opinion, was completely unprofessional and deeply inappropriate for someone in a leadership role. During our meal, he yelled across the room at customers, creating a tense and embarrassing atmosphere. It was impossible to relax or enjoy the food with that kind of behavior happening so publicly. What disturbed me even more was hearing him talk negatively about his own staff within earshot of multiple tables. It was uncomfortable, uncalled for, and showed a serious lack of respect for the people who keep the place running. No manager should ever talk about their employees that way, especially not in front of guests. What makes this situation even more troubling is that this isn’t the first time he has acted this way. On multiple visits, I’ve witnessed similar behavior, and it’s incredibly disappointing to see that it continues. I genuinely love this restaurant, but this experience was unacceptable. Based on what I witnessed, I truly believe the restaurant should reconsider whether this manager is the right person to represent them. The team and the customers deserve far better professionalism than what we saw today.

So we asked for the Manager and refused and said they were busy,then asked another waitress and she said they were at the store. Bad service. Went today, because I love the caldo de res there and when I went I was very disappointed, i got my soup and in my soup was some kind of wash cloth of some kind and I hope they didn’t sell more caldo de res after me because idk if that wash cloth had chemicals in it, I went today @11:18, I could of made a big deal but I didn’t , was just disappointed and will never go back .. because that did it for me .. if they sold more after they are wrong for that ..

We sat for just over ten minutes until we asked if someone could take our order and have some water. Waited 24 minutes for our food. I wish I could say it was worth the wait, but I can't. The food did not taste good and didn't look well either. Black eye for the Southside for sure.
