I love love love Sparky’s Pub and the rest of gay strip in San Antonio. Great bartenders (especially, Rolando), and the drinks are strong and affordable. SA is a late night crowd. So, if you are there during the week for work or something, don’t expect it to be busy until late. Also, be sure to checkout the King of the Grill food truck right outside. It is open weekends and some weeknights. It’s great!

The people here are super nice. The guy at the front is a gem and a jewel. He went out of his way to take care of me. They have plugs all.over the place so you can charge your phone while talking to friends. This is a great place for friends. Not too loud so you can't hear each other.

Love the place, came for a quick stop but we loved the place and the drinks "El coche loco" and the cucumber Margarita are really Good the staff is really nice and knowledgeable with the drinks. We are going to come back on our next visit to San Antonio. ❤️

This bar is such a blast on the weekends ! Came to this bar on a Saturday with my girls and we had so much fun ! The drinks were good and affordable. Our new favorite bartender is the woman with the short hair. I didn’t get her name but she did the drinks really good . This atmosphere is down to earth and the woman attending the bathroom was very nice ! We want to go back soon.

So, the pub itself is a good vibe. The service seems fine, and the drinks are on par with other places around it, but it is located in this weirdly sectioned off area. They have an ID check on the way in, but also checkpoints in the middle of the area (because multiple bars share the closed off space). This may sound like a small gripe, and it is, except you can’t take drinks between venues. So…what’s the point of the gated off, secure area? It gets crowded on weekends, which is a good thing, but service can be hit or miss when it’s busy. I’ve also noticed that pricing changes, depending on which bartender you order from, and they charge for water. Anyway, we always have a good time. Just be aware that it’s far from perfect.

It’s a fun place to be at However if you’re not a regular the bar tenders will ignore you and will throw a massive and I mean massive fit if they don’t get a tip. My friend usually tips by the time we are done drinking not every time we get a drink and it’s a pretty hefty tip he usually leaves but since he didn’t leave a tip on the first round the bar tender said “bye all of you bye” I asked what the problem was and he expressed his frustration on a tip I tried to give him money so he could feel better but the diva said no he didn’t want it. Just beware of the attitude the bartenders will give you. Other than that the music and vibe is great

This place is very fun especially after 11:30 pm on weekends starting Friday but when I went early around 8:30 pm there is this short haired Hispanic lady named Mimi who can come across as sour or in a bad mood, I sat on the stool and then she literally just looked at me and I ordered drink and all I ordered was a Dos X and gave her 5 dollar bill and and then gave her a three dollar tip and didn’t even say thank you she just took the money and didn’t even look at me. Normally bartenders are very appreciative they might even do a sign language kind of gesture if they have a mask on obviously or you can tell by their acknowledgment but at the same time she was just very sour and seems like she had a bad attitude. But overall the club is very nice and it is a nice bar and there’s even a very nice wine bar as well and the other bartenders for sure are very sweet very attentive and appreciative for sure.

Despite this being my first time there and good vibes DO NOT USE CARD HERE TO PAY FOR DRINKS OR ANYTHING! I pay drinks with card or open a tab anytime im out and ALWAYS tip cash so i know exactly what I'm spending. After going out on a Friday night I recieved notices on my phone (on Sunday) from my card being charged an additional $2 to EVERY transaction made for a "tip". FYI this is illegal and fraud whether it be on one transaction or several!!!! So tourist, visitors beware- I'll be reporting this to my bank and everyone under the sun, to say the least, so this doesn't happen again.
