Absolutely amazing!! I always love coming here for a tasty affordable meal, but they truly have amazing customer service that blew me away! When I called them about a missing item from my meal the manager went above and beyond to make things right. Thank You Ashley and the man I talked too on the phone (didn’t get his name) for taking care of your customers 😁. The meal was delicious and shake was so good.

Haven’t had Steak n Shake (affectionately called Snake n Shake) in years. Still love this place! Wish there was one closer!! Had errands in the area and HAD to stop. They were feverishly working on a massive order. But mine was perfect!!!

We were forced to order through a kiosk. Although that's a feasible option for some people, I prefer ordering from a person. Food was decent. Better than most fast food for sure. I would have given 5 stars across the board if a person had taken my order. Update: Came back and an employee placed my order! I'm not a fan of automation. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We will be back!

Ordering was quick and easy, food was really really good! The garlic burger was absolutely delicious!! The milkshakes were yummy as well! The food came out really quick. I was very impressed. This was our first time here. We’ll definitely be back :)

The burger was really good as was the dipping sauce. The milkshakes are where it’s at. Absolutely delicious. The order process was through a kiosk, super easy to understand. Staff was super friendly, greeting us upon arrival and letting us know if we had any questions they would be happy to help. Lobby was super clean and very inviting. Good stop for a lunch or dinner options.

Haven't been to Steak n Shake in years. The food was amazing! Burgers tasted fresh, fries & onion rings crisp and shake was really good. Staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the manager, Ashley. Will definitely return very soon!

One of the better fast food burgers I’ve had! The fries were really good especially if you like thin cut, crispy fries! Food came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering and everything was hot and fresh. Patties were thinner smash patties so a double was filling.

1st time at a Steak n Shake. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable. The burgers, shakes and regular fries we ordered did not disappoint. Only let down for us were the cheese fries, was told by the staff it was cheddar cheese before ordering but it was a cheese sauce that tasted more like American cheese, not terrible if you like American cheese but we were not a fan of the combination. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal.

In my ongoing quest to review burgers, I always stick to my standard order: a single or double cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato (if available), paired with fries. This approach ensures I focus on the burger's fundamentals—the quality of the patty and bun—without excessive toppings masking the quality of the core ingredients. Visiting this place around 10 am meant I wasn't overly hungry, which ensured I wasn't going to think it was great just because I was hungry. Let's start with the burger itself. It's a classic smashed burger, so expect a thin patty. They make everything in front of you. While it didn't reach the heights of gourmet burgers, it held its own and reminded me of the satisfying burger at Freddy's. Their fries are reminiscent of thin-cut French fries, similar to those at What-A-Burger, though not quite as good. The lettuce was vibrant and crisp, although the tomato could have been riper. The standout feature here is undoubtedly the price. At just $8.07 for a double smashed cheeseburger, fries, and a drink, it's an unbeatable deal in terms of value for money. This makes it an excellent choice for budget-conscious diners, especially families with kids. If you have a sweet tooth, their extensive selection of custom handmade shakes is a definite treat. Overall, this place offers decent quality at an affordable price point. I'm looking forward to returning—it's a great spot for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

We grew up in Illinois near a Steak and Shake in the 60's, 70's, & 80's. Heavy glass plate, real silverware, and glass glasses to drink from. A tired waiter taking your order and hustling. A long way from "Place your order at the Kiosk". I do not recall any staff near the grill welcoming us in... Meal deals offered with no drink included ...? The hamburger was good but greasy & soaked the bun halfway through eating it. Fries are the skinny ones like we recall & like. I think the place would be ok if you have no fond memories of a bygone time. Prices reasonable for what you receive.

First time, stopped by on a Thursday afternoon shortly after lunch and people were coming out as we were going in. Business is located in a large shopping center and is difficult to find unless you know where you're going. During the time we were there people were in and out however the business was not busy. The interior of the business is large filled with tables and chairs. It was clean as was the restroom. You can order at the kiosk or or at the counter and it's basically self-service after that. The employees were pleasant. We ordered a la carte double patty cheeseburger, small shoestring-like french fries and added chicken strips. The french fries are supposedly cooked in healthy tallow rather than oil and to be honest I couldn't tell any difference although they were tasty as was the hamburger which came with fresh tomatoes pickles and lettuce. The hamburger bun however was standard size and looked small. The total bill was just over $13, the hamburger was just under $6 the french fries were 60 cents which was cheap but the four skinny chicken strips were nearly $6 in and of themselves... a little high for me. See pictures. Overall on okay experience. Business probably draws most of its customers from the large shopping center but other than that there is nothing really outstanding to bring people to it in and of itself. Your mileage of course may vary.
