The environment here is spacious and clean. I love the festive decorations here. The staffs here are really nice. They attentively asked us what we need, and checked in with us frequently in the friendliest way. It’s our first time here and we were given free lemon tea plus hot tea of our choice. I love the dishes here. It felt like being home. It’s the nostalgic taste of authentic Chinese foods.

I live right down the street from this place & finally decided to try it. Was craving won ton soup. The soup is excellent!!!!!! I did takeout & the upon arrival the gentleman who took my order was kind & hospitable. While I waited for my order they brought me a lemon iced tea. It was so yummy. You gained a customer who may become a regular;) :)

One of my favorite places to eat at in JC, really authentic tasting Chinese food with large serving sizes and lots of variety! I visit frequently and the service is always fantastic, and the environment is clean and well air conditioned. You can even ask them to customize the dishes like decreasing the amount of chili or oil used.

Taste of North China is one of my go-to places for a casual meal in Jersey City. The food is always authentic, flavorful, and comes with a reasonable portion. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional northern Chinese dishes you don’t usually find elsewhere. Their spicy dishes are also quite good. My personal favor favorites include their signature spicy chicken and boneless pork trotters (pictured).

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Jersey City. This restaurant got best northeast China dishes in the area. The price is very very reasonable compared to the neighboring Chinese restaurants in the area. The portion is always large too. A true hidden gem.

Food was good! Staff was friendly. Overall clean and good atmosphere. Bank vault is cool. Soup dumplings didn’t really have soup in them. But food was decent and my stomach is happy

It’s ok. The food was fine. The service was not great and the entire place was nearly empty. There were 6-8 delivery bike riders clogging the entry way. If you need ok food it’s fine but not worth comming back here.

The environment is clean and hygienic, the space is spacious, there’s a wide variety of dishes, and the flavors are great. The service is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!👍🏼 And It’s best to dine in, as the food doesn’t taste as good when it’s taken to-go and eaten later at home.

We had lunch here for the first time on a recent Sunday. It was not busy, perhaps because at 1:30 pm, it had passed the busy lunch hours? Instead of leading us to a table, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. We ordered two dishes. Chicken with chili was good with tender chicken and the spiciness we asked for. But Beef chow fun was too salty and didn't hit the mark. No one came to check whether everything was ok or to refill the water. Portion size and price were fair.
