Was feeling like a Chicago dog so I came here because I had heard they were good here. I wasn’t disappointed. The dog even came with the hot green pickled peppers that are traditional on a good Chicago dog. As far as atmosphere, it’s a decent dive bar with a pool table. They play sports on half the screens and old MTV music videos on the other, which was fun and a good conversation starter. Will come back!

This is a true OB bar! After a terrible experience with Northside tavern my party and I left and came here instead. This place is great! 1 bartender is taking care of the whole place of like 30+ people. She is still so incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and personable. Sunday games were on (north side forgot this part as a “sports bar”) food is great, 1lb Buffalo wings are tasty and burger and seasoned fries also great. I live in ob and after the experience I had at Northside and the 180 I got from choosing AC it’s obvious you need to come here!

I'm not much a fan of bars in general, but my friend recommended I get the Ruben here. It was fantastic! 🤌🏼 Not too meaty, not to saucy. Well measured. Meat was nice and tender and not burnt. The bread was nice and toasted, golden with a lil butter, and also not burnt. Even the fries were so good, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, so good that I didn't even use ketchup, which I normally do. It is a bit pricey, starting at $17. But it was a great sandwich!

Chad was friendly and provided excellent service! He suggested the 805 brew on tap, and it was just right. My wife had the BLT and said it was perfect. I had the Black & Blue Stuffed Burger, it was the best I've had in any state. So glad we found this great spot!

Afternoon time drink time, it was not crowded but we have a great time, not venue related but it will be memorable for us. Just ordered some Corona and Buds but lots of laughs.

It's fantastic! I mean.....just look at it! Look at it! You're not looking at it. Why are you not looking at it? It looks mantastic from across the street. Looks like they sell hotdogs. Oh, you want a review from a customer's perspective. Oh sorry. That's not available today. It's Saturday. I have tacos on Saturday . You'll have to wait to Wednesday. TOOTLES!

Sometimes a bartenders make the place. This bartender was not very personable. Tried to make conversation but he only had short answers. I guess you have to be a frequent patronage to feel welcomed. We were excited to visit the place since we just flew in from AZ. It's been over 3 years since we've been back to CA. We will still enjoy our stay here in San Diego.

We didn't realize it is more of a bar screen, but it was late and we were hungry. We sat at a booth and our server was also the bar tender which was completely full, so hard for us to give us good service.

The service was pitiful. I sat at the bar with hardly anyone there. Two bartenders working, some Karen and some Darryl. I waited 10 minutes for a second round for one of them to finally turn around and ask if I was doing ok...."check please" There are far better bars in OB

My eyes met with guy who saw how I was passed over and acknowledge the bad service done unto me. I'm in the hospitality/restaurant business and as you have read that was terrible service and won't be back to AZ Cafe. I'm from OB this wasn't my first time there, but it was the worst time there. My tip was generous because I hope he realized he should have been quick to provide good service

I had the poor chance of dealing with chase i think thats his name. He was so unprofessional and any time he covers the usual bartenders on their break it is so bad. He is openly racist, dismissive and aggressive. I watched him ignore a guest strictly because he didn't speak English well. He also is super aggressive towards anyone that walks into arizonas cafe. I watched him berate a fellow employee and say "you'd be alot better if you did your job and listened to me." He made me feel so uncomfortable by the way he talked to guests and his employees. It is insane that such a great establishment would allow such an obnoxious self righteous person interact with customers. He needs to be told he cant speak to people the way he does. I'd be very happy if I never saw him at AZ cafe again. I hope this review reaches management which im sure he's apart of. But the attitude and disrespect towards customers should not be tolerated

They kicked me out for not eating my food at 155 AM. Had finished drinks and was still enjoying fries and my wrap and hot dog around 150 AM I’ve just never been so aggressively kicked out for having food in boxes, whoever was bartending has a problem, i hope he can seek help. Once again my name is Braden Neff and I expect a full refund.

I bartended for 15 years. Went to Arizona on a Thursday and made a comment to my friend about someone at the bar. It was not intended for it to be overheard. Apparently it was. It was not obscene, it was not confrontational. And we were kicked out. ITS A BAR, not a library. 7/11 is the date. I suggest you hire a bartender who is more intune with a typical bar atmosphere.
