Incredible drinks and great crowd. This dive bar is so charming, you really feel like you fit in here. Whether you love craft cocktails or beer on tap, they got you. The cocktails are very creative and always balanced. Best part, it won’t break your bank.

Fun little corner bar with two pool tables. There were plenty of TVs for sports. You get a heavy local vibe here. No food but you can bring your own in.

One of the best happy hours in San Diego. Great selection of bevvies with a divey charm.

She made me and my friend feel like we were at home and honestly we will definitely come back again. I'm really eager to try their house mixes that they have of the drinks on their board. That's behind the bar, so I will try all of the 18, not next time, but it'll take a few times.

It was because of Ig that my friends and i went to check out this holiday pop up at the back of Gillys. Just letting you know, this is definitely worth a visit because even though it’s divey vibes, it feels homey. Probably because the front of the house is snap and divey. But once you reach the patio, it’s like a Christmas wonderland.

Some folks are angry that a corp took over this place. It's a cleaned up dive bar, with non dive bar priced drinks. Staff is nice, people there are nice, and they have free pool.

Don't come here for any watch party. Atmosphere was fun, drinks were good but staff needs to learn how to speak to customers. I saw how a guy asked if they could sync the sound to the tv and he got yelled at that "its the best he could do, deal with it".

I was here on Valentine’s Day at 8pm with my husband and our two friends. We were chilling peacefully drinking on the patio and my husband was smoking a vape. The bartender (who i saw taking shots at Lafayette gutter bar before coming here? Weird….drinking shots before work???) threw an ice cube at my husband and It hit me directly in the face. She screamed at my husband that vaping isn’t allowed to which he answered “couldn’t you just have told me instead of throwing ice at my wife’s face?” And she apologized, in an extremely passive aggressive way. Your employees shouldn’t be showing up to work drunk off shots from a nearby bar and throwing ice cubes at a paying customer. Ridiculous. Especially on Valentine’s Day

Went to a love island watch party here and it was terrible. The TVs were all off, sound was off different times. When we asked the staff to help and change they yelled at everyone to go watch at home. Highly don’t recommend if you’re going to watch anything. Only a few TVs and staff (not bartenders they were lovely) were super rude.

Gilly’s has a fun atmosphere, but the staff clearly tolerates creepy behavior. A man was staring down women and men, making everyone uncomfortable, and even cursed loudly right in front of the bartender. Despite being told about it, the staff did nothing. It’s disappointing and unsafe. Until they take this seriously, I don’t recommend this place.
