Grab & Go Subs

This is my go to place almost every day for lunch. Several menu items that stand out, Italian Beef sub (fantastic), their hot pastrami (one of my favs) and the meatball sub (super tasty). I also recommend trying their Mexican Mocha in the morning. I've had them at other coffee shops but theirs ranks at the top.

Try the Meatball! It's now a staple of the menu and it is delicious. The snadwiches are good, made fast and simple. Great for meals on the go or to take back to the office if you're in a hurry. A new favorite of mine, the Grilled Cheese Feta!

This is my #1 favorite sub place ever period. The only bad part about it is that it is not open after I get home from work, which I guess is a good thing because I would probably go way more often. I go for my usual sub, the Californian (turkey, swiss, lettuce, ham, etc) and it is very delicious. As soon as you walk into any Grab & Go Subs you can smell the fresh baking bread coming out f the oven. It is best to eat your sandwich there because it will be nice and warm if you get it toasted. They are not open Sundays, but maybe they will be in the future since they are opening up more locations. This is a place you have to try if you are a sandwich lover in San Diego.

This is my regular lunch place. I think I'll go there today too. I have never had a bad sandwich there. Tito and all the guys are friendly and run a great shop.

Great selection of subs that are different than the fare you get other places. And they are tasty. I had the spicy turkey avocado. It was warm and toasted to perfection. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Perfect place to go if you've got jury duty.

Tried the grilled cheese feta because a friend recommended it. Actually it was amazing. Fresh backed bread, family owned, great service and Chris was a great host. Totally recommend. Thanks guys!

This is the go-to spot for a quick bagel and coffee in downtown. The sandwiches are amazing and the service is always friendly.

Staff is always so friendly and get through orders as efficiently as possible. Was received by a smiling clerk providing a warm friendly environment. Subs are always good with fresh bread delivered daily and the use of fresh ingredients in all food prepared. I recommend this place to anyone in the local area.

I haven't had a pastrami sandwich in decades, so today I thought I'd have one here. It comes to you nicely hot dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo &mustard. Its quality pastrami and the bread is delicious. First time here but I'll definitely be back to try other sandwiches. Got my eye on the roast beef to order next.

Perfect sandwiches for a downtown lunch. Not downtown expensive, large, filling and always tasty. They make substitutions or additions easily. The staff is always friendly and helpful - even during the crazy lunchtime rush when there's a line out the door.

Great food with a cafe atmosphere. Customer service is top notch. Chris was great and very helpful. I highly recommend the espresso and Italian sandwich.

My friend hyped this place up so I went with high hopes. I was not let down. I ordered the veggie sub and a lentil soup. It was so good a that I forgot to take a photo. 5 stars and I’ll definitely be going back.

It's always a lovely place during workday lunch. Everyone comes and goes for their sandwiches. I was 6 blocks every couple of weeks just to pick up a spicy turkey avo jack sandwich. It supports a local business too.

Had to come downtown, wanted a quick bite. This place is a gem. I’m from New York, so a sausage egg and cheese is kinda my thing. It was prepared and ready in about 3 minutes. Everything tasted just right. With the cafè mocha on the side, my breakfast started my day off right.

Every time I go in, I'm greeted with smiles and friendly service. Even during the lunch rush, they are able to quickly and efficiently handle it. I find their prices to be affordable, so much so that I'm there weekly. This location/deli is always at the top of my list.

Turkey sandwich is the ultimate comfort for me, ratios are always perfect + toppings fresh! Tomatoes are the downfall for many sandwiches but Grab & Go always has firm, tasty tomatoes on their subs. Bread can withstand but not great quality compared to other surrounding bakeries. I do love the Turkey they use here as it doesn’t have weird parts, mixed textures, or slimy film that can happen with deli sliced Turkey. I HIGHLY recommend getting oil + vin on side, way too soggy to travel more than even 2 minutes. Drink selection could be improved too.

Best Sandwiches in San Diego! Would be 5 stars, but Unfortunately they moved to a new location which has very little parking and is difficult to get to for people who don’t live/work in the neighborhood. I miss their Little Italy location!

The weekday I went it was really busy but they have everything down to a science and provide friendly and efficient service. You order your food, pay and wait for your number to be called. I ordered a Meatball Sub on this day and, as you can see by my pic, it’s not super large in width but it is really tasty and the marinara is delicious. I only mark it down one star because I thought it was a little skimpy on the meatball size. I will try something different next time and report back. There is zero free parking in the area so walking or ride share is probably best.

I kind of to rate this hard because I been to many sandwiches places.. I had a roast beef sandwich it was good but not great meat to bun ratios was ok...to me the flavor could of been more better..would I get it again yes if was in area but nothing to go out of the way to get it...

Ordered the Sicilian. Noticed how light weight the sandwich was right away. One razor thin slice of meat each type, totaling maybe 1/8” thickness overall. Value isn’t there.

I was looking forward to a good sandwich from this place given the reviews and that it's not a franchise. Instead I was pretty disappointed, there's more meat in a Subway sandwich. They should rename the Italian Sandwich to the Italian Salad Sandwich.
