If I lived close by, I'd eat here all the time and take my friends and family. Carne asada tacos are great. Meat cooked just right, flavorful, just the right amount of char in every bite. I tried 3 salsas, all on point. Plenty of meat. Rice was good, chips for the table and the service was very friendly. Thanks!

On my quest for great Mexican food, I have found it! Los Panchos Taco Shop is your friendly, neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Absolutely wonderful customer service! The place is humble and clean as a whistle. Latin music playing adds to the ambience nicely. The menu is huge on the wall high up behind the counter. It was about 2 pm and I decided to go with the Panchos burrito and although I ordered pollo, I got steak, but, hey, it's ok! It was huge and I ate it all! There was so much meat, it was incredible and the refried beans inside were so delicious! They were smashed and I think mixed with something and were so flavorful even on their own. I don't think I'll be eating again until dinner tomorrow lol. The chips are complimentary! They have a beautiful salsa bar with everything you could possibly want. They've also got one of those modern multi-choice soda machines - awesome! Oh, and let's not forget the two big screen TVs showing a soccer game. I've been here almost an hour and it looks like there's a constant line in their drive-thru. Since it's past the official lunch hour, foot traffic inside has been light - me, an off-duty nurse, a dad and his daughter after school pickup, and an elderly lady and her younger friend. Everyone's happy with their food. I'm blissful now, can you tell? Please come, sit inside, and experience your bliss!

Food portions are amazing!! Price is great!!! The carne asada is sooooooooo tender!!!! The shrimp is cooked perfectly👌. The surf n turf cali is probably my favorite burrito of all time as of now. No other burrito has matched the ingredients and the tenderness of the carne asada and shrimp that is cooked inside. To me, it is put together perfectly. I dont even like pico, but when i forget to ask them to remove it or if they've forgotten to remove it, i will still eat it and enjoy it. Thats why they get 4 stars for service, because they have put pico inside when ive asked them to remove it a couple times, but ive still eaten the entire burrito. And the price of this burrito is amazing, especially for the size of it. I am always more than satisfied after eating this burrito and i have quite an appetite!!! They make other great food too, but this burrito still holds the gold medal 🏅for the past 3 years since ive first had this burrito from here!! 2nd place is Chueys taco shop. And this is the 1st time that i choose quality over quantity. But like i said, i always feel satisfied after ive had this burrito. Congrats los panchos 👏 👏👏

This is the best Los Pancho's. Probably the best Mexican place in San Diego. I go back here every time I'm back home.

I've always been adamant about choosing my preferred breakfast burrito establishment. Los Panchos OMG Burrito has always fueled my mornings with exceptional service and attention. I usually get red salsa but the variety is expansive. Best in the area by far

We must have gotten lucky after reading the 1 star reviews. We ordered two 2 taco plates. One chicken, one beef taco on each order. While one might consider the meat tasteless, not being seasoned with Knorr seasonings, a little sauce was just what was needed. The beans and rice sides were good and a 5 star review is warranted on our order today.

First time in this location. Excellent service from beginning to end. We had fish tacos, carne asada burrito and a Tijuana burrito added French fries in it. The manager delivered our food and I asked about the salsas which were AMAZING. He even went in the back and brought out a special breakfast salsa to try. The salsa bar has fresh carrots, cucumbers and limes. The prices matched the quality of the food and the location was directly across the street from my meeting. We had like 6 babies and 2 toddlers and accommodations were on point. All around GREAT. I will definitely be back and send my friends to this location.

This is not really 'fast food' since they make most items fresh for the order. If there are 2 or 3 cars in line, be prepared to wait a minimum of 15 minutes. This is in no way a bad thing! The food is excellent! Recommend a try it. You will probably go back again.

I'm not one for spicy add-ons, peppers, salsas, carrots, etc., but they do have a really good selection of all those garnishes/condiments. They have a really great menu with a lot of variety. My first time here at this location. I ordered a burrito yesterday for lunch and ate inside. My burrito was good and the salsa selection is great. One thing to improve on for this location is to remove the young cashier taking the order. Bad attitude and was rolling her eyes for ordering and no I was not rude. Whatever issue she has got in her life needs to be kept out of the work place. Throw her in the back or something if she can’t handle a simple task. I will not come back to this location until customer service is proven to be improved and action has been taken. I’m looking at you, business owner.

Food is ok. Only posting this picture because it's the 3rd time. Where I had ants inside my fountain drink. I only took notice when I started feeling the ants in my mouth when I was drinking the soda. Open the lid. Tons of ants floating in the soda. Maybe it's their new drink. Cola infuse ant soda

Ordered a three amigos from the drive thru and asked for no onions. I was the only one in line. My tacos had onion on them but I didn’t know until I got home. I have an allergy to onions.

The cashiers have the worst attitude. They charge for every little thing. Even when asking for substitutions, like instead of this salsa, this other salsa. They'll charge for that. And I mean at least a whole dollar. They have messed up my orders a couple times and when I come back to ask for the right items they give me a hard time. The food is alright. But I'm sure this is the last time I come to this establishment.

This little whole on the block... I ordered 3 taquitos Gauc and Sour Cream, I took 1 bite threw them away..next time ordered 1 Cheese Quesadilla almost $9, IT WAS A JOKE the Quesadilla was like a mini Quesadilla at DEL TACO. GO TRY FOR URSELF

I ordered an Adobada burrito and told the lady maybe a little extra crema. I get home and there's none. Next time I will drive to where I know they can deliver what I order. Lady was nice too.

Who owns this place? There doesn't seem to be any accountability whatsoever. The staff arbitrarily closes the restaurant, (twice more than an hour before the time posted on the door). Tonight, I showed up 15 minutes before closing hours and they had already shut the kitchen down. The person working the drive-thru told me they closed the kitchen at that time and the displayed hours are wrong. Well, that would have been nice to know before I drove hurriedly 5 miles to get there in time. The thing is, I know she lied to my face and they've been getting away with this for such a long time that everyone just accepts it. Who are you going to complain to? Clearly there is no oversight, and I find it hard to believe that the manager could care less. The food's pretty good but it's certainly not worth the poor service.

Beware!!! This place likes to charge you extra. The menu prices do not match the prices on receipt. I brought it up to them. They won’t do anything about it. Boycott this place

I don't know what's up with this place. I had been going for close to 6 yrs. It was always good, customer service has always been ok at best but the food was always good. Then within the last few months, I started getting cold burritos, cold carne asada fries, weird tasting meat etc. A total of 5 times. Today, made it the 6th and final time. I ordered six ceviche tostadas. The tostadas tasted expired and the ceviche itself had gone bad. Just plain unacceptable. I should've stopped going on the first or second time. It's just this location. I've never had an issue with Panchos on Friars or in National City. I do appreciate the fact that they always refunded me my money.

Went through the drive-thru the lady seemed nice enough order the chile relleno burrito no beans was supposed to have cheese sauce and the chile relleno and that's it I get back to my place and open it up I take a bite and it's nothing but sour cream half the way down and then shredded lettuce and tomato which doesn't even belong in a chile relleno burrito then I take a bite of the hard stem of the chile relleno the piece that they should have cut off and to put the icing on the cake it turned out to be a jalapeno and not an Anaheim pepper or a poblano so it was spicy I'm not from the area but I like to try different foods wherever I travel to and this place I will never come to again who leaves the stem in their chili relleno burrito
