Rare Society is AMAZING! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!! Abraham is an server and very attentive. Our water was never empty and we never felt overlooked. I highly recommend checking them out!!
This place has a really great ambiance. Service was superb and the food was very delicious. I came with my fiance to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time. I went with the Prime Bullseye Ribeye and my fiance got the 40-day dry aged bone in NY Strip. We also got the iceberg wedge salad. The salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. The steaks came out perfect! Well seasoned and sliced up for you. I will definitely be coming back to try their boards! Highly recommended place to eat.
Five-star experience from start to finish. First time dining at Rare Society and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, everything was dialed in. We started with the hamachi crudo, which was outstanding; bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The house bread rolls with whipped butter were next-level and dangerously easy to overindulge in. The house Caesar salad was honestly to die for, one of the best I’ve had anywhere. For the main event, we ordered The Associate, adding the lamb lollipops, and every cut of meat was cooked perfectly. You can tell they take real pride in their execution. The chimichurri and salsa were excellent accompaniments and elevated the meats even more. As for sides, the broccolini stole the show, hands down the best side dish on the table and an easy 5 stars on its own. The only minor knocks: parking is rough, the first round of cocktails took forever, and the $30 potato au gratin just wasn’t worth the price compared to everything else on the menu. That said, those are small blemishes on an otherwise phenomenal experience. Top to bottom, Rare Society is a true 5-star steakhouse, and I’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! We celebrated our anniversary at Rare Society and everything was so well done. The service was exceptional, our food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm. We had such a great time and deeply appreciated all the little touches the staff put into making our celebration extra special. We're definitely coming back
Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, almost creepy with what they knew about me before I set foot in the place! 🤣 But that's the attention to detail, and the comfort level they strive to create. We were treated like royalty. Now to this menu.....you WILL SPEND $$$, but it is SOOOOO worth it. Steaks ( Cedar River Prime Bullseye Ribeye was my choice) are top notch (world class in my opinion), the brocollini is oh, so sexy and delicious, the fall-out-the-shell-so-you-don't-have-to-fight lobster tail, the magnificent Parker House rolls laced in truffle butter, the incredible Old Fashioned cocktail with a perfectly sized cube of bacon fat which they sear for you on the rim.......this is a destination restaurant for CERTAIN on my next visit! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
I live in the same neighborhood as this Rare Society for about four years and I have never gone in until last week on my 13th year anniversary. We just walked in no reservation, ga seat at the bar and it was a happy hour. That right there gave me a smile on my face. Once the food came out. What an incredible experience. We asked our server for his suggestions, although we wanted different things we took his suggestions and could not have been more pleased. The flavors on every single thing were absolutely spot on.. this place truly blew my mind and I even told the bartender how dare they make everything so good because now you have a regular customer in me! Prices are very high but the experience and the flavors made it all worth it!
AMAZING steak was seasoned heavy and so delicious we got a rib eye and a Filet both cooked perfectly it came with a side of some DELICIOUS butter just amazing for the sides we got mashed potatoes sooo good mac and cheese probably some of the best mac and cheese from any steak house I've been to asparagus super good just an awesome experience staff was super friendly and helpful the waiter was outstanding the ambiance is very nice definitely worth a visit
Everything was great! We started with the parker house rolls. We ordered the associate board and au gratin potatoes. Ended with the butter cake, and a complimentary glass of bubbles for our anniversary. All of it was phenomenal.
O....m...g. Came here for dinner and I wasn't expecting much because I've never been a steak person, but it was for my husband's birthday and he is. Best decision ever! We started with the blue crab dip and it was perfectly crabby and creamy. So tasty. We then got The Associate Board to share, with a side of whipped potatotes. The board came with some Denver, tri-tip, and rib eye cuts. I think my favorite may have been the Denver and my husband's the Tri-tip. I tried a bit of each sauce it came with though it honestly needed absolutely none. The tomato salsa and steak butter were our favorites though wish it had come with the horseradish to try (comes with the executive board). The whipped potatoes were just that, but oh so tasty. We'll definitely be coming back for another date night!
From the moment we stepped up to the stand, the hostess was unpretentiously pleasant and gathered menus to lead us to our table. She stopped at a “middle of the walkway spot” and while it was definitely fine (adequate space and accommodating seating) I did ask if there was any way we could move to a perimeter table just a couple steps away. It was a 4-top and I have quickly learned that SD spots like to send us to bar seating before giving up a precious 4-top. Not this time! “Of course! Where ever you’re comfortable is where I want you to be.” “Okay, thank you so much. The other table was perfectly fine, I know I’m being weird, but I don’t like feeling as if I’m in the way.” I don’t know why I overshared, but I did. She responded, “You’re never in our way here. Please enjoy your meal.” Okay, no need to give a play by play of all the rest… but our server, his assistant, and anyone else who touched our table were all by far the most exceptionally trained and attentive staff I have ever experienced at any restaurant anywhere in the country. The food was fantastic, as well. Cooked to perfection and wonderfully flavored. We ordered an app, meat board with sides, and a dessert—all exquisite. It healed a little part of me. Their kindness. Their calming presence. Their soul-filling food. 10/10 recommend. **On the way out, I felt compelled to stop at the hostess stand and thank her (she had also come by the table to assist with our initial waters while our server was explaining the menu to a large party). I told her how wonderful our experience was and how she was truly a main reason from the beginning. It turns out she was the manager, so I hope she gave herself all the accolades she deserves.
Rare Society is top-notch! The service was flawless, and their Caesar salad is truly the best I’ve ever had in the world. The fried anchovies were like crispy anchovy croutons, and the buttery fresh-baked croutons paired perfectly with the creamy mayo-based dressing. Absolute perfection! I'll be back!
100% will eat here again. The wife and I came here for an anniversary and we were not disappointed. Service was literally perfect and food was phenomenal. MUST TRY DESERT. The banana foster cheese cake. They will state it’s a best seller and they are not wrong. You much try it. Food over all is priced well and the portions are big. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dinner out.
Excellent steakhouse with beautiful cuts of meat and the highlight of the meal was definitely the brocolini. Perfect sevice and a well stocked bar with an extensive bourbon list.
Had a wonderful experience here from the moment we walked up to the time we left service was above 5 star, all the employees where nice, Matt our server did a excellent job, for being our 1st time there answering all of our questions, as for the food...OH BOY... had to try a few things, it was all delicious, well seasoned and cooked to perfection, can't wait to go back,
The food was delicious and the service was even better. Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly, and made great recommendations. When a minor hiccup happened with my steak order, everyone from the busser to the server to the manager came by to personally check in and apologize, and later made things right with a sweet treat. Their care and kind attention made for a special experience and was very much appreciated.

Excellent experience at Rare Society! The restaurant was cozy and intimate, and our server Abraham was knowledgeable and fantastic! His recommendations helped us navigate the menu perfectly. We really enjoyed the Executive Steak Board with scalloped potatoes, charred broccolini, and Parker House rolls!Everything was cooked to perfection, and the Chocolate Lava Cake was the perfect finish!Highly recommend and can’t wait to be back!
My husband and I savored every bite. It was amazing and I will seek out this restaurant again. Blew away our experience at another pricy well known dinner location. The service was excellent. The drinks came out quickly. I had the Legends Only and my husband had an Old Fashioned. I loved mine! Started with the Parker House rolls, worth it. Went to the steaks next. I had the Denver and my husband had the Filet Mignon. Both were exceptional but that Denver - I didn't want to share. We also split the broccolini which is normally not my first choice in veggie but this one I will make an exception for in the future from Rare Society. Finally we went a bit rogue on dessert and ordered the new Brookie tart which was chocolate heaven. We did a ride share so didn't have to worry about parking which looked to be a challenge. Overall, recommend! Go eat here!
This place has multiple locations for a reason. The food and staff are top notch. Probably my favorite steakhouse. Excellent food, strong drinks and great service. Always get the tuna tar tar, steak board(tallow butter is amazing) and butter cake. You really should get the butter cake. Their onion rings are good too.
Rare Society exceeded all expectations! Despite being fully booked on a busy Saturday night, the manager kindly squeezed us in, which we truly appreciated. The service was flawless from start to finish—our server was attentive, warm, and made the entire experience feel special. The food was incredible, with perfectly cooked steaks that melt in your mouth. We’ll definitely be back for another unforgettable evening! Highly recommend Rare Society for anyone seeking top-tier service and an amazing dining experience.
The steak was outstanding overall. They definitely use more spices than less. We shared everything family style and only reason I shorted a star was due to the extra spices on ravioli, a bit much cheese on the Caesar, but server did state this in advance. I will definitely be going back. Service was excellent drinks were outstanding had a good wine list.

Celebrated birthday here. Nice touches with card from staff and gratis ice cream cup with candle with dessert. Steaks well prepared. Helpful server advised that most menu items are heavily seasoned limiting choices. As with most steakhouses these days a complete dinner is pricey
Came in with the excitement and left with huge disappointment. Everything was salty. The broiled oysters were the worst dish. They were extremely salty and the seasoning overpowered the oysters, no one from my party of 6 could taste any oysters at all. Broccolini, roasted mushroom, and miso glazed carrots were pretty burnt. And salty. Even the parker rolls weren’t good, they were warm but dry. Hamachi crudo tasted quite fishy. The associate board (I forgot to take a photo of) came out to be rare instead of medium rare as we ordered. Despite being still rare, my husband said they were kind of chewy, which means the cut weren’t a good cut when the meat was thin, rare, yet chewy. When I cut into 2 pieces of the fried chicken dish, there was some pink blood coming out from the middle. I could not eat that because I’m pregnant and requested my food to be fully cooked. Tbh, it was understandable for the chicken to not be fully cooked because each piece was huge! The manager told me that the kitchen confirmed it was fully cooked to their standards, but she still offered to make another fried chicken order which would be cooked longer, I accepted and the second order came out to look more brown (which meant they did cook them longer), however, I cut into another 2 pieces and there was still light pink blood coming out!!! I totally lost my appetite then. The manager came back and offered some dessert on the house but I declined. At that point, I had no faith in any other dishes from there that would taste good. I appreciated that the manager tried to make it right for us, but unfortunately the food taste and quality didn’t meet our expectations. Very disappointed to say the least.
