A great diner to stop at in Pensacola. I ordered the pimento burger and it was great. The decorations in the place are awesome. It's a true piece of Florida history having been here since 1939. It's a fun stop.

I have loved this place for decades. Amazing staff and delicious food. Brought my wife and daughter in today and they loved it. I had the grouper sandwich, fried oysters, and fries. My favorite place in Pensacola.

I haven't been here In years. I was on my way home and remembered the chili was amazing. After I ate. I promised I would be back more often. The burger, chili and the onion rings were delicious!! A hidden little Diamond here in Pensacola. Wait Staff was amazing also.

Back again. This time we were able to have our favorite mullet dinner. No matter what we will keep coming back to our favorite local place. Must try. We have been coming here for years and never disappointed. Accept when they ran out of mullet and we couldn't get our special. Other than that, I would suggest their meatloaf special or the Special Cheeseburger and gravy fries.

First time here and the food was great. Zero complaints there. But the service was another story. We were there for an hour and a half and spent most of that time just waiting. Sat for about 15 minutes before anyone even brought drinks, and it took a long time for our order to be taken. The food eventually came out, but it was delivered by a different server. After that, our server checked on us once and disappeared again. We sat for another 45 minutes with empty drinks waiting on a to-go box. I finally had to go up to the bartender myself just to get a refill and a box so we could leave. Maybe our server was just having a rough day, but it was some of the worst service I’ve ever had. The other staff members we interacted with were very nice, so I’m hoping this was just an off day. I’ll probably give it another try because the food really was good but wow, this visit was frustrating

Our server was awesome. However, we were served "fresh" mango salad that tasted like it was well into fermentation. We were given new salads that were fresh, and our server apologized. However, it was an incredibly awful experience to taste it. This was my second and now last visit.

Food is good, prices reasonable. Service is poor. After our food was delivered, no one ever came back to check on us. My husband had to go to the bar to attempt to get a refill on a glass of water. How difficult is that? Never got it. Luckily we were almost done eating. They weren't even that busy.

I’m sorry I don’t know how this place could get a favorable rating. It has been opened forever, it is nicely decorated inside with unique items, but the food is simply not good. The mashed potatoes were instant, the chicken fried steak was some heated frozen entree, the pork chop was dry, and I had to pay .20 cents for lemon, and it is actually some packet, which I thought was tacky to charge for. The staff were friendly but I go for the food, which just wasn’t good. Sorry I was excited to try this place but it’s a major one and done.

First, the menus are paper and look like their falling apart. Service was friendly food was hot. Pork chops had good flavor& and the macaroni bites were a nice touch. Chicken fried steak was like most cafeteria style. The brown gravy gave it a good flavor. The plates were too small. It was nice to visit and can tell locals like it. If you're looking for upscale, this is not the place, just a laid-back restaurant. Nice to visit overall.

Stopped into this historic restaurant. It was at lunch time and they were typically busy. However, the service was a little slow getting to our order. However, when that order came out it was exactly what we wanted and they were super friendly. The the blue bacon burger was very good. Portions were a little small. I might come back again and give her another shot. Maybe when they're less busy. But definitely a good middle of the road diner for a quick bite

This saddens me to write this post as I’ve always been a big fan. However, today was disappointing. Went in for lunch - a nice young man quickly got me a drink, but then I sat there and waited to order. I watched a couple come in after me- they ordered - the guy never came by to take my order, so I moved to the bar- then another man came and sat at the bar and they took his order. We were the only ones in there. This was lackluster service and I won’t be going back. If you’re busy, I can understand. There is no reason to neglect a paying customer in this circumstance.

This is the $11 chicken tender dinner. The menu online is not up to date and this dinner no longer comes with the sides listed on the menu. Just the roll. The tenders are barely more than chicken nugget sized. We did a pick up order and we’re charged extra for placing the order to go…. Seems counter intuitive. The staff was polite. The restaurant is clean. The food is the google definition of average. There is nothing special about it. As noted in the picture the quantity vs price leaves a whole lot to be desired. If you want chicken or burgers, save your money, go to McDonald’s, your wallet and stomach will thank you. I’m not normally one to leave a review but maybe this will help inspire some change.
