I give K Sandwiches a solid 5. The food was fresh, there's a bakery on-site, service was courteous and efficient. I ordered the grilled pork Ban Mi and it came with seasoned grilled pork, pickled jicama, cilantro, jalapeños, pickled carrots on a baguette. It seemed like there was a light sauce that added to the flavor without dripping out or making the baguette soggy. My friend got the avocado smoothie which had a nice light avocado flavor and it's made with real avocado not powder. I also picked up pastries to take home. The chocolate croissant was a favorite. I would recommend K Sandwiches for sandwiches, bakery - and smoothies. We ate on the patio outside. The shop was getting busy, we were there just before 11am on a Saturday, the staff kept up with orders and there was plenty if seating. I've adjusted the atmosphere rating due to the tables inside weren't clean- they needed just a wipe down after each patron left.

I love these Special K sandwiches. I loved them 7 or 8 years ago when I first ate their sandwiches, and I still love them today! ❤️ I You just have to try it and experience the flavor. I drop by once on a while when I'm in the area. I buy sandwiches for my family. Forget burger joints. Get some real food. It's cheaper and not greasy gross. They sell a variety of goodies and fresh bakery yummies! 😋

Met up with a coworker for a late breakfast. Long lines as usual. Turkey and egg croissant sandwich is hearty and satisfying. We would have bought a pastry for the afternoon but when you're belly is stuffed, there's no thinking about going back for more.

Very busy and fairly priced. They offer Vietnamese-style banh mi sandwiches, fresh baked baguettes and croissants, and a range of Asian-inspired sandwiches, smoothies, coffee and pastries. They also have some snacks and groceries. I personally think the banh mi is ok not as tasty as I was expecting. However, it is big but not much meat. Coffee was okay not as close to Vietnamese coffee.

I do love the sandwiches. The drinks are in the sweet side for me. So probably won't get the coffee is for now. I love love love the baked good. Especially with how fresh everything is. They also do have the option of buying a $5 usd croissant bags with 4 random day old croissants, and on a blue moon they sell the ends of the sandwich bread for $1.50 usd. Both are great deals. The baked area is a bit cramped. So here's the warning if you have a stroller or have arent going in the area alone.

Nice and decent banh mi. I had a passion fruit tea and a xiu mai banh mi. The xiu mai tasted like sauce on Bolognese. It was actually good! Total $16. Wanted to try their Chinese sausage and egg, sounds creative to me.

We visited this restaurant for the first time, which we had been curious about for a while. We ordered a Japanese drink and a Vietnamese sandwich. The food tasted good, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable.

We have been coming to K Sandwiches for decade, a longtime community favorite Vietnamese place for banh mi, hot and cold beverages from avocado shake to Vietnamese iced coffee, various delicious Vietnamese hot meals such as banh cuon, shrimp spring rolls, sticky rice, etc., breakfast meals, Vietnamese desserts and fresh baked goods. This place has a constant stream of regulars, students/teachers from local schools and community colleges and professionals from local hospitals. When you walk in, stand in the queue and order at one of the two registers in the front. They will call your order number when your food/drink is ready for pickup. This place is not fancy but clean and spacious and budget friendly and their American and Vietnamese sandwiches are delicious and priced well (average was under $10). You can even get a large bags of baguette ends for under $2. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor seating and decent parking lot. We recommend this place for quick lunch and for their delicious banh mi sandwiches.

I read about this place. I was very excited to go here. My first Banh Mi ever, back in 1993 was in Linda Vista area, at a Vietnamese Supermarket. I've been hooked ever since. I was recently in San Diego for one week, and only got a chance for one Banh Mi, so I chose this place based on the reviews. When I arrived it was already busy around 11AM. The crowd was from young and old, and various races. I loved what I was seeing! You could literally smell fresh baked breads from the parking lot. Anyway, I went in, waited in line and ordered two Banh Mi Dac Biet. That's the one with cold cuts and Pate on it. I was still a bit fill since I just came from eating Pho, but these would be good on the flight back to Hawaii. I ate one sandwich on the plane, and honestly, I thought there was not enough meat or flavor. It was ok, and the price was much better that those in Hawaii. But honestly, I was not impressed. I've had better from Vietnamese grocery stores. The store was clean, and the staff was awesome. Very good vibe and ambiance. But the Banh Mi was a bit underwhelming. Worth another try though. Want to try their banana pudding next time.

One of my favorite places to visit for a quick Vietnamese lunch. They have banh mi sandwiches with many flavors/meat choices to choose from. I loved that they have meat pies, sesame balls, three bean desserts, etc. There’s a small market section where you can find Vietnamese snacks, drinks and pastries. The price was reasonable and the service was quick. There are limited indoor seating by the window and some patio seats available.

I really liked my matcha. The sandwich I got was made well but I just did not expect my tuna melt to be sweet. I’m not a fan of sweet sandwiches so it wasn’t for me, I wish I would’ve known, it was way too sweet, I guess they make their tuna salad sweet because it wasn’t just the cucumbers that were super sweet.

January 25,2026, BAD service today. 😡. I always order online ahead so when I get there, it’s usually “done” for pickup. Went to pickup today and had to wait for 30 minutes!! When I got there, I told clerk I’m here for pick up. He told me to wait for about 5 minutes. 5 minutes turns into 15/20/30 minutes!!!! WTH!! I then ask other clerk and he then says to me “ why didn’t I tell us about your pick up?”. I told him “ I ALREADY told the 1st clerk am here for my sandwiches “. That other clerk sees me “regularly” and KNOWS I always order online. I was PISSED I had to sit n wait n wait n wait. That curly hair guy clerk pisses me off!!

Very sad to report, the meat of the chicken, pork,beef sandwiches were VERY dry, tough, and favorless -11/6/25. One of my favorite stops but was terribly disappointed with the sandwiches today. Both quality of ingredients and prep was horrible which led to a disappointing eating experience. What happened to the flavorful, tender, juicy meats in the sandwiches? Usually, the juices soak into the fresh bread and deliver a favorful culinary experience? I hope they can correct course and bring back the tasty sandwiches of old.
