This sandwich was INCREDIBLE! I got the sun vege with turkey and ohhhhh man it was tasty and in line with a diet (I had eaten half before taking the photo)! No mayo, but amazing pesto. Sprouts, lettuce, sun dried tomatoes, provolone cheese on multi grain bread?! With unadvertised orange slices?!?! AMAZING. It was tasty, nutritious, and a nice break from a chain store sub. A TON of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu including fresh juices and smoothies. I am not vegetarian or vegan myself, but this place has it all. It even has a lot of vegetarian/vegan/organic cooking ingredients, supplies, and food for sale in the store. 10/10 would recommend

This review is long overdue! I used to come here all the time when I lived in SD. I am still daydreaming about their samosas, salads, and energy bites. They also carry a variety of health foods, vitamins, herbs, and supplements. The owners were always so helpful and kind to me… they truly care for their customers. Much love for Picasso Naturals🙏🌿

I come here frequently on my lunch breaks. The food and veggies always seem so fresh. I love the jalapeño veggies burger, so good! The juices are delicious too.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I eat here several times a week. Every now and then I try something new and I'm always skeptical at first but It's always a good experience. Their food is delicious and the owners are so welcoming and friendly! They even deliver to me occasionally which is so great when I'm swamped. I especially recommend for vegans.

I worked in the area 4 years ago and Picasso was my go to. It can get really busy and the owners are the only ones there so it's best to order ahead of time. I still dream about their Jalapeño Veggie Burger, so tasty (but super spicy, I usually would take the jalapeños off to just get a little spice) and I'm not even a Vegan! Their smoothies and baked items are super good too. Missing them so bad right now. I'll need to drive down to San Diego sometime soon, the veggie burgers where I'm at don't even compare..

This place is such a gem and the people that own it always take care of me and my friends....I have been going since the day they opened in 1995 and would go more consistently if I didn't live 350 miles away ...This is always a return stop for me when I visit Thanks Picasso for everything !!

I was passing by on my way somewhere and needed a quick bite and I saw the place and gave it a try. the people working there were kind and conscious and the ones eating you can tell they were regulars who enjoyed simple and high nutritious and unpretentious food and good conversation. I was immediately drawn to the good energy of the place. You never know what you find when you look.

The owners are so kind. I have visited in the past, but recently I have gone almost every morning. I get the hummus sandwich on a multigrain bagel and it is absolutely delicious. I also get the almond date smoothie sometimes which is really good as well. Since going there regularly, I have also been able to try various supplements and vitamins and other vegan products that they have in their store. Give it a try. I is a hidden gem in SD for natural healthy eats!

My first time coming here and it was amazing! The vegan brownies they have are to die for!! My husband and I each got a combo breakfast vegan burrito and it was delicious, it came with a smoothie and was only $10 each (which is cheap considering it’s plant based AND it’s San Diego, typically a smoothie alone is over half that price). I recommend the Mango Peach smoothie or Caribbean smoothie. The service was great, and the food was even better. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for plant based food.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place is one of my favorite places to eat in San Diego!! I eat here a lot and I’ve tried many things on the menu and everything is so delicious, not to mention responsibility sourced and healthy! I highly recommend trying this place out. The owners are so sweet and they make their food with love and get it out quick. Support this local business! It’s a gem and you won’t be disappointed!

We brought it to the employee attention and was told they could not do anything about it. So no refund, no meal comp, no discount, no gift card, they could not do anything. I hope we have a better experience next time.
