Opinions de Belle Cora San Francisco
Yeah this place rocks. Would totally 100% come back here. Bartender was incredible totally has a cool SF classic north beach bar vibe. Lots of room for everyone and a spectacular outside seating to just have a beer and watch the world go by. Come here for a wholesome local experience or for a fun dive bar vibe. Had the ham sandwhich holy crap. For a dive bar it was kinda perfect. Bread that was toasted perfectly with a delicious jam. Come here.
There are certain things and certain places that define San Francisco and Bella Cora is near the top of that list. I’ve been here multiple times, mostly when I come into SF to visit friends or drop over to the Italian Club and my visit would not be complete without a stop at Bella Cora. The service is spectacular and the wines are excellent and it so satisfying to sit on the sidewalk out front and watch the City hustle around while getting ready for a wonderful evening. Sometimes there is music on the sidewalk and sometimes it can get chilly but that just adds to the glamour and style by visiting here. My background is Irish but I certainly feel like a native San Francisco Italian when I sit out front while sipping my huge glass of red wine and talking about the old days.
I go there often for an Aperol spritz or a prosecco. I love sitting outside, especially when they have live music. At night, it's not cold at all, since they have heaters.
The Belle Cora is a true neighborhood gem. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which sets the tone for a great evening. The vibe is relaxed but lively, and the live artists who perform here are seriously talented — it adds so much character to the place. We even stumbled upon a trivia night, which was such a fun surprise! Definitely made the experience even more memorable. The spritz? Easily the best in town. Perfectly balanced and super refreshing. If I had one small critique, it would be that I wish they had a slightly wider selection of tapas but it’s still totally fine for a casual night out. Overall, it’s a fantastic bar with great drinks, good energy, and a local charm you don’t find just anywhere. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Love this little bar! Red leather pin tucked sofas. Swanky! But also just chill, swanky dive bar/wine bar- located in north beach.. I love the service here, and the wine selection is nice. I’d get the cheese board to nibble on too. They have a live band outdoor on the weekends.
Love this place! They have live music and the vibe is great. Service is also super friendly! Highly recommend
I often come here to sit outside under the trees in front of the fire to hear Irish music or jazz or whatever they have on . I always liked it but when I decided to host an event here for 50 people I was simply blown away by how easy they were to work with, how delicious the catering was, the lovely convivial environment, and the reasonable pricing. This venue is exactly the right size for the number of people, has a good layout and flattering light and great service. I heartily recommend Belle Cora for both casual evenings out and for special events.
Absolutely adored this place! We stopped in for post dinner snacks & wine & wished we were able to stay longer. Our server was so sweet & we loved that we could pick where to sit. They have indoor bar seating, heated outdoor seating, & outdoor seating with fire pits. The food was delicious & they had an extensive wine list & cocktail menu. I loved this place & can’t wait to come back for one of their weekly activity nights!

Spent a delightful evening here on the weekend, with live music, innovative cocktails and warm, friendly service. Recommend to anyone who's spending time in the area and wants a nice break!
Ayyy que lindo -- jazz and great food -- you kidding me -- is this thing on?
We hosted our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The willow trees and venue are beautiful, and it's a fun spot to host an event! Our guests had the best time, and the staff and owners were so kind and accommodating. They let us bring a band (they have an area for that already), choose a menu for our hundred guests, and the food and drinks were delicious. 5 stars! Thank you everyone at Bella Cora!!!!

Great place to hang out. We enjoyed our drinks and appetizers, and the 3 piece band was a lot of fun.
Great vibe, good music and service. Not a bad tap beer selection either!

Belle Cora has been part of North Beach since 2015. I remember seeing them open and thinking, "Good luck to them!" because that location hasn’t been very kind to new businesses. Fast-forward six years, and Belle Cora is still going strong! When the city allowed outdoor seating during the pandemic, Belle Cora's capacity nearly doubled. They now feature live music and comedy nights outdoors, which has made them very popular with those of us who enjoy heated outdoor seating along with good beer or wine. They offer about 6 or 7 beers on tap and a wide selection of bottled beers. Their wine collection is also impressive, featuring wines from around the world, including Sonoma and Napa. If you're not too hungry, there are plenty of options on their "Shared Plates" menu. If you are feeling hungrier, they have some delicious choices, including their award-winning burger from 2020. I can’t drink as much as I used to, but I still enjoy a couple of beers from the tap while listening to live music and chatting with friends at our table or with neighbors at nearby tables.
Been passing by this restaurant for so many years. Today, I finally decided to try it out for some lunch. It seems as if this location is primary a lounge and the menu doesn't have a lot of choices. Regardless, we ordered a main and two sides and we're very pleased. It's definitely worth a visit for a simple meal.
Enjoyed the live music. Food prices were reasonable.

I'm giving 4 stars just for Bella Cora's atmosphere and ambiance. Their food used to be better before. This last time that I was there, I got really disappointed with the food. Quality of the food's come down unfortunately. Their service wasn't that good either.
Bartender was incredibly rude. Awful bar. Went to the place across the street instead for better service. Atrocious

I would love to give a better review of this place because it has an amazing vibes and great music, but unfortunately the last time I was there my bill was messed up. The charge that came through my credit card was $13 over my total. I reached out to have the bill corrected weeks ago but have not heard back from the restaurant. Unfortunately I can’t endorse going here because of this.
The staff is very rude (although the guy checking id was very nice). Working in the hospitality industry they should be able to handle stress as they chose to work there but the lady making drinks at the bar was extremely rude. She was extremely impatient on NYE as it was crowded and said a lot of mean things when i was taking out my card from wallet to pay which took like 15 seconds. Not sure if it was because she was stressed or being racist. I didn’t even respond to it as there was no point arguing with these people. This was our first impression of this bar and it completely destroyed it for us and we are never coming back.
On 10/18 I was actually across the street at Sotto Mare when I saw some young men, maybe teenagers, in bear costumes coming from what I'm assuming was the No Kings Rally, because they were carrying protest signs. They were clearly young men of color and were also wearing Arabic head dresses. They were quietly walking down the street when I noticed a 20 something yr old man at your establishment in the seated patio area, maybe having brunch with his GF and friends. I can only assume your patron was intoxicated when he began to loudly harass these young men, unprovoked, with racial slurs and taunts regarding Terrorist organizations. I was seated outside and could clearly hear him disrupting the street. The young men were taken by surprise and hurried on their way. But a few minutes later, with their pizza in hand, they calmly approached the man who was heckling them and politely asked him if he was the man yelling at them about Hamas and if so, if he'd like to have a conversation to dispel any fear or anger he might have at them. I remember because I was proud and quite impressed of these youths for approaching what could have been an inflammatory situation from a place of wanting to educate your patron in a calm and collected manner in order to facilitate a discussion and dialogue. What ensued after was very disappointing on the part of your staff and from a heightened and delicate optical perspective, could be interpreted as possible racial discrimination. When these youth approached your patron, never once did they raise their voices, nor did they enter any part of your private property. They remained on the sidewalk. Your staff member illegally told them that they were trespassing and that if they did not discontinue harassing your patrons (which ironically, was the opposite of what happened) staff would call the police, detain them and have them arrested. Never once did your staff member make any inquiries as to what had occurred and who said what. The children then continued on with their pizza. I attempted to call your facility several times when I returned home but was sent to voicemail each time. My question to you, hopefully as the owner or manager of this establishment, is whether you feel comfortable with your staff not only harboring a racist individual, but also harassing clearly Brown youth? As a born and bred POC myself from the Bay Area, I will tell you now that I am not comfortable ever patronizing your establishment, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Shame on you for propagating hate and prejudice.
Deceptive advertising. Across three cocktails, the bartender secretly substituted cheaper spirits than what was ordered. The “Blue Martini” is prominently advertised with “Tanqueray No. 10” but in fact contains the cheaper Tanqueray that costs 1/2 as much.
