B&J 1/4 lb. Burgers

Great burger was in area on work calls had a couple 1hrs to kill and me n co-worker were hungry boom. This place great lil dinner busy and great staff. Bout $14 for burger fries n drink but well worth it. Support your local eateries not fast food.

Absolutely loved my grilled chicken. Fixed to perfection. This place wins the burger mafia war in San Francisco. Make sure you order their breakfast, stiff grits smothered with butter and your choice of eggs etc. whatever you like. Stop here! Pepsi products only.

the staff are fast and the food is amazing. parking is great. the only downside is the wait time can be long since there's so many orders and they cant physically fit anymore staff in there.

So this is my first time coming here I heard about this place through a friend I arrived and ordered some breakfast the sausage was spicy & very good the eggs and grits were very good the toast was buttery I will definitely be back

Love my steak breakfast from here, today Ricardo came through for me super nice gentleman who helped me with my order. Doordash turned off the section for me to put in my special request, so I called B&Js and boom Ricardo said no problem I got you. Thanks Ricardo

I was working in the city and was starving. My coworkers recommended this spot. The outside was very deceiving but when I tell ya the food did not disappoint. I got breakfast with grits potatoes eggs bacon and toast…EVERYTHING was on point and the service was good too super friendly and quick. I will absolutely be coming back again!!!

Found this place while one night stealth camping down the street. What a wonderful greasy spoon. So fun to watch all the work and the loudness of the counter. It’s amazingly fun and clean. Just stare at the greasy spoon channel while you eat your 11 dollar (including tax and coffee) breakfast. Neighborhoods like this are part of the gem collection of San Francisco.

GREAT service! I went in to pick up my order. The lady taking orders was sweet and hospitable. When I got my order my fries were undercooked a little more than I liked. When I went back in to get them recooked she did so happily and apologized. I was waiting longer than normal and she checked back in with me. She found it unreasonable that I had been waiting so long for my fires and refunded me the money for my fires without me asking and still gave me fresh hot fires. I don’t know her name but she is a hard working and efficient assets to this place.

I had breakfast 3 eggs, sausage patties, bacon GRiTS with butter, and white toast. Sausage patties were not like Mc D'S flat and semi tasteless. These were just right. My co-worker had a big burger, which I take is normal size for this place. Take a chance to feed your guilt and let the taste buds love you for a day!

I've been wanting to try B & J for the longest time and originally feared it might have closed during lockdown a few years ago! Today was the day I finally made it out there, but unfortunately time wise I didn't get there until about 10 minutes to closing! But everything I got to eat there was as delicious and fresh as if I was the first customer in instead of the final order of the day! Super impressed by this! The staff was wonderfully friendly, too! I didn't even mind going outside and eating my tasty burger and delicious fries! Very happy!

If you're looking for a basic no frills burger and fries, this is the place!

Great breakfast but the wait is way too long. Might get upset and leave. But staff can cook their ads off. A must to go eat especially on a Sunday morning go early.

There ribeye steak breakfast combo is SUPER yummy. Tender steak, eggs cooked to perfection. A $15 large portion home run. Friendly staff. & Good parking lot. Public transit at all corners. Small joint but good fresh American style food.

Very good so I really have to say about that. In the best time to get there as early sometimes, or a few hours before they close. Because still the food is great and you get your money one that's for sure.

Went her for the first time, had a hot link sandwich with fries. Food was good, french fries tasted different. Tasted as if they where fries twice, but still crunchy and taste. Will eat there again.

Food is what your ordering. The place is a greasy spoon type joint. Still it feels both homey and local. Never any complaints about my food. The ladies at the register are sweet so have some patience.

OK ok ok, it's just the grease that kills me about this place. I enjoy the food and you can't beat the price BUT the grease is what holds me back from giving it 5 stars. The service is what it is, I feel that the so called chefs get so overwhelmed with so many orders at once and it doesn't seem like they have a system down in the kitchen and I always thought that online orders had priority, not àt B&

Great tasting cheese burg but poor customer service. First, two staff conversed while I stood in their presence. Secondly, neither one made eye contact nor asked me for my order. Tacky, discurteous ,and rude. Lack cust service skills.

Flies on the counter not clean took very long to get the food. Homeless people coming in and out service wasn't all that great and service woman was very religerant with Homeless person and home obviously lives in the neighborhood. Just wasn't a good experience.

Not like they used to be. Hash browns and bacon real crispy. Soda machine was broken, couldn't get my usual punch and 7 up mix. Cooks are slower. Had to wait 25 minutes just for them to start cooking our food.

The food its really good but takes soo long...so if you don't have enough time you better order online because if you order in the place its gonna take like 25 or 30 minutes. If you just have 30 minutes better not to order here.

B & J is a local neighbor restaurant that's been here forever. We needed some breakfast in a pinch. B & J was perfect. Don't expect good service. It's not fancy, however the food is reasonably price. Quick service. You won't be hungry.

I was so unhappy to receive a bag of burnt chips. More than half of the bag of french fries I received were unedible. My advice would be stick to the recipe that's been serving the neighborhood for so many years, and keeping your customers coming back. The fries only needed to be cooked a little longer in the past, now they're burnt. 🤦🏽‼️‼️‼️

I was so unhappy to receive a bag of burnt chips. More than half of the bag of french fries I received were unedible. I order the same thing for the last 15yrs Steak and Eggs, but the steak as of lately has been nothing but gristle which is unacceptable. Don’t get me wrong everything here is good I just don’t have money to waste on gristle when I order steak.

She acts like as if she doesn't want to be there or is upset that people are coming in to place orders. It's unacceptable!!

Always very slow 30 minutes or more I think they should wear gloves cuz the ladies have nail polish on and I see that it's chipped I'm going to cook myself and we're taught that that's a no no they need to wear hair nets be a little bit more professional cook the fries more be more attentive as well show your appreciation for people spending their money there

What happened to the food quality! My fish and chips look/taste like a child was given the opportunity to do the last order of the day. I grew up on the burgers and fries. But I'm not going back until the cooking gets better! Peace

BJ burgers needs to be shut down. The low quality food is over priced and often spoiled or rotten. I was just curious because I used to eat there years ago when it was Black owned the food was good and greasy, once Sue took over it was all about the money, now it's frozen burger patties, fries, ect it's such poor quality, the place is still nasty not hair nets or gloves the servers handle money then food a fly trap over the grill was filled with dead flies and flies were everywhere. I wish Bayview residents would stop supporting these nasty food places.
