Very nice vibe and seating area. Bingsu is sweet and fresh. Perfect for 2 people and doesn’t melt too fast. They apparently use fresh mango as seen on Instagram but the taste is more covered bc of the jam. The owner is super nice too.

Came here to hang out while my car was being worked on nearby. A lovely little airy spot, industrial space yet also cosy due to the variety of thoughtful seating areas around a grand piano in the big room. The breakfast sandwich was excellent and inventive - served cold on a very good cheese croissant, It's primarily lovely fluffy egg salad on a little stack of fine ham and topped with pickled jalapenos & onions which add a nice freshness and crunch. Oh - and it's huge: I had to take a break midway through. This is my new spot to hang when needing a comfortable place to spend some time in SOMA!

Such a cute Korean cafe and so happy they opened in the neighborhood 😊 need more spots like this in soma (or just sf in general) Coffees were great - didn’t get to try the food but both bingsu and sandwiches looked amazing. Came here on a Saturday 11am and there was live piano. Awesome space for a chill working sesh! Owners are super friendly and hope they do well ☺️

a perfect third place! this fairly new soma cafe sets itself apart with an inviting atmosphere and vibes perfect for lounging by yourself or catching up with friends. there’s ample seating on couches, tables, or by the bar while piano instrumentals quietly play in the background. owned by a lovely korean couple, you can tell the attention to detail they put into this place, also serving some pretty good drinks! be sure to look on their insta for the latest live piano events matcha latte: no complaints, a tasty latte! love the touch of the piano stencil

Great service and ambiance. Place where there are great places to sit for a quick coffee, go heads down on your laptop, or have lunch with a small team or group of friends. I was not blown away by the coffee or food I tried, but was decent and made up for by the rest.

Such a cute neighborhood coffeeshop! I’m not sure why this doesn’t pop up on google easily but I love coming here. The drinks and food are good, the workers are so nice, and they have wifi! It’s never really too crowded to find a spot to sit. Once in a while they have someone playing the piano but the schedule changes up sometimes. Great spot to do work.

I stopped by the coffee shop/ piano bar last night and it was great to have a spot in SoMa where one can have a nice chat in a beautiful atmosphere while enjoying some late evening tea. There aren’t that many places in San Francisco even less so in SoMa with this same offering. Please do enjoy it!

LOVE the new extended hours! Between Dento, Heyma, Turquaz, and Les Deux Amis, the late night cafe options around west SOMA is changing fast and it’s exactly what the neighborhood needs! Love that i have so many bev options here too that fit whatever the day/mood calls for

Was in the area tonight and stopped in for a coffee...so glad I did. The night shift barista, Gabbi, was an absolute delight! Great customer service and my flat white was fantastic! I will definitely go back and recommend to others. 😊

Dento Piano Cafe has been a place I’ve been wanting to go to for a while and my visit was somewhat mediocre. The lavender oat latte had beautiful latte art and tasted wonderful (perfect balance of sweetness). There was a fly in my latte so one of the baristas was super kind enough to remake my drink. However, the egg sandwich was one of the worst egg salad sandwiches I have ever had in my life😭. Like no joke… it was super sweet and I think the mustard or mayo taste was too over the top. Either they made it wrong or the proportions are just off. I also bought the almost $20 mango bingsu and I was disappointed. I could barely taste the mango. I think I would only come to this cafe only for their drinks. Other than the food, the ambiance and the cleanliness of the cafe is amazing, music isn’t too loud, staff are attentive, and there’s wifi + outlets for studiers. Overall, not a terrible experience!

Cannot give 5 stars simply due to price, $6 base price for a regular matcha latte which was more than $7 after tax and tip, and was just a small 12 oz ‘regular’ size. I suppose I’m at fault for going for it but didn’t realize it would be just such a small cup, since I don’t normally frequent such places and indulge in pricey beverages.

I got the Korean one, and it was so yummy—lots of toppings and I liked the the condensed milk came on the side. Really cute study vibe with free wifi and a bathroom. I’d go back to see someone play the grand piano. Not a ton of seating though

Nice place I was there in the afternoon while my car was smogged. Coffee was cold and boiled down. They were out of some menu items. I'm sure it's better in the morning.

Came for the bingsu, because it’s all over their Google photos. They told me they’re under new management and took the desserts off the menu. Coffee was decent though, but sad about not being updated on the removed items

FYI this place changed owners and no longer serves bingsoo or any sandwiches. They have some small pastries, but it was just ok. We came here looking forward to the awesome menu and were very disappointed. The atmosphere is pretty terrible. No music playing, even through radio. It’s just silent and you can hear everything. I had this place saved on google maps for a while and pretty upset that this is what it was. Also, very limited seating if you want to come and work.

I told him I paid for a large (plus an extra charge for an additional shot and a tip!) and he was surprised that was even an option on their payment system. His only response was “sorry” without offering a refund or anything else. Terrible service and a terrible barista. I’ll be going to the cafe around the corner from now on when I’m at work.
