Both of my experiences at this restaurant have been incredible. The Mohinga and Coconut Noodle Soup are some of the best soups I've had ever, and the Burmese Style Chicken Kebabs are a great lighter curry option. I also had the Burmese Falooda, which was a fantastic way to end my meal. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and were happy to answer the questions we had. They were also happy to accommodate my peanut allergy, so I could enjoy the delicious Tea Leaf Salad. I look forward to coming back and trying other menu items, and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The prices are up to $30-50 per person despite what the app says, but the experience is absolutely worth it. I'm not a professional photographer, so the food looks even better than what I can show.

The food was amazing and spectacular! The staff were very friendly, the restaurant was warm and cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our first time here, we had the mohinga and the second time we had the tea leaf salad, coconut noodle soup, and the Burmese style chicken kabobs. Both times the food was amazing and we were shocked about how rich and flavorful every dish was. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! This is my new favorite restaurant now!

I was very impressed with the taste of the foods and pleased with the service I received. Highly recommended the Burmese style tea leaf salad, fish chowder noodles and Fresh fruit Lychee Tea drinks plus the shrimp fried Rice. Overall the foods are flavorful and delicious. Highly recommended and must try while you are in town. A++ for services and foods

Cute little shop tucked into a corner and wow this place is great for a cute date! Came with no wait on a Saturday night and this place has a really great wait staff who constantly checked in with me and even gave me a napkin when I spilled something and didn’t realize he noticed. Standout dishes were the paratha for sure it was some of the most soft and flavorful paratha I’ve ever had and it goes great with the curry sauce. The coconut chicken noodle soup was great too with the soft chewy noodles and yummy soup base. The moneybags weren’t as yummy but we’re super chewy and unique.

We've been waiting for this neighborhood restaurant to open because other places like Burma Superstar and Mandalay are too far, and it didn't disappoint us! Service is quick! Servers are nice and helpful with suggestions. Portions are good size. We'll definitely return.

This is an excellent spot for authentic Burmese cuisine! Everything was prepared and seasoned well and all were great sharing portions. Service and ambiance of the restaurant was also stellar - the staff was very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend coming with a group of friends/family whenever you’re in the Sunset area!

This is a nice local spot with very good service. I really enjoyed the paratha with coconut curry. My wife’s favorite was their Thai iced tea. We were recommended the chicken pad Thai as a non-spicy chicken option and it was ok. The sauce wasn’t great and the tofu cubes texture was tough. Portion sizing was good and the pricing was reasonable. Having live sports (NFL) playing on the TV was also a plus.

It's a cute place and the food here is really good. There were 4 of us including vegetarians and there were a good amount of options. We of course shared the tea leaf salad which was pretty good. I had the nan gyi noodle and the chicken was really well made. The noodles were soft and overcooked, which I wasn't a particular fan of , but overall I liked the food.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great!! Fantastic flavors. We took only vegetarian food and were surprised how good it was! Out of all the dishes, parotha with coconut curry was sweetish and didn’t appeal to our taste buds. Other than that, everything else was awesome!

Love this neighborhood spot in Noe Valley! The food and drinks here are so good. Would definitely recommend getting the paratha with coconut curry dip. The coconut flavor really shines through and pairs really well with the flaky paratha. Garlic noodles here come with spicy sauce on the side and are really flavorful. Same goes for the fish noodle soup that comes with a bunch of toppings that you can add in yourself. The blue limeade turns a really pretty pink-purple color when you mix the layers together which is really fun. If you plan to dine in the restaurant, make sure you have a picture of your vaccine card!

Warning: lychee drinks may be habit forming. The tea leaf salad and wings are both excellent starters & service is attentive with a chill Sunday dinner vibe. Will likely return to try their paratha & coconut noodle soup

Flavor forward menu served in smartly decorated interior, a modern take on traditional Burmese. Wide selection of noodles and noodle soups. Silver (Glass) Noodle Soup (KyarSanChat) served in clean tasting chicken broth, with a hearty accompaniment of wood ear mushrooms, fried tofu and quail egg.

Loved the food! We had tea leaf salad, platha with coconut curry and eggplant & tofu. All delicious and we packed for dinner, there was plenty of food to go around. Also had blue lychee and Vietnamese coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

So good! We are vegetarians and had the paratha and coconut curry dip, veg version of the tea leaf salad, the samosa soup, and the Inle Fried Rice. I would definitely come here again!

Enjoyed the tea salad. Chicken curry was okay but lacking somewhat in flavor. The gyoza were underbrowned. Portion size was good. Service attentive and friendly.

Good service, but the food left a bit to be desired! The tea leaf salad was really good (generous serving of roasted peanuts and good portion size). The garlic noodle with tofu was just average, and the flavour was unfortunately one dimensional. Would have liked it spicier and with a more flavourful sauce. The tofu also looked like it was pre-fried / not fresh. The coconut curry noodle soup was served a bit cold / lukewarm so we had to ask for it to be reheated. Made me skeptical in general that dishes in this restaurant are pre-cooked/ pre heated and not that fresh. Unfortunately there are many items / soups that cannot accommodate vegetarians as they are chicken broth based.

We were excited to try a new Burmese restaurant in inner sunset and came in at 5:40 pm for an early dinner as we were starving. The place was empty with only one other table occupied. Tables for two are fairly small and we were planning to order many dishes. We were turned down pretty rude after we asked to me seated by the one for four people. With only one veggie soup option, I ordered the samosa soup and I didn’t like it. I have an upset tummy ever since I ate it and my partner didn’t like their minced chicken with parata as well. The music they were playing was either buffering or something else but it just kept crashing, which made for a annoying atmosphere. You couldn’t hear one line of the track without it breaking, like a broken record. I would stick to my usual fav Burmese restaurants.

One of those exceptional places in San Francisco where service is much better than food! **Update 6/28 - scratch the above, service is as bad as their food. Note below the reply of the business** We went to dinner after a visit to the de Young museum, the place was empty but we trusted the good reviews… oi!! :( We had the paratha with coconut curry dip, not horrible, but nothing to remember. Not enough curry so, the already fatty bread dipped in a fatty milky sauce had no contrasting flavor to be enjoyable. Then we shared the noodle salad and the eggplant and tofu with garlic sauce. The salad was watery in an uncomfortable way, and nope, it was not a broth or a dressing, more like the veggies diluted the sauce it was supposed to come with and the flavors were washed out. The eggplant with tofu was the horror of the table! Gummy micro cubes of tofu that reminded me of the trays of Asian food at Safeway at the end of the day, with shrunken greasy bites of something you can’t tell what was! The tofu had been long deep fried, left cold and then submerged in a sauce that of course couldn’t absorb, leaving a mouthful of salt to taste followed by a chewy bland cube. We told the waitress and got the visit of a manager or owner who agreed with us and promised to bring fresh tofu and that he did! Cubes of plain out of the package tofu cubes. I told him he misunderstood what we meant by fresh and he said he gave directions to the kitchen to “in the future” not deep fry the ingredients ahead of time. A waste of money. We won’t repeat the experience. PS. 6/28 response to owner. Dear Owner of Inle, if you actually pay attention to the pictures, both dishes are only half eaten. Your portions are tapas size and we were two people. After spending $65 for this food we were not going to splurge on a second dinner. Thank you for your generous offer, the memory of your food stays so strongly that I would not repeat the experience even for free 🙏🏾

We had a horrible experience eating vegetarian food here. We got tofu, paratha, bok choy and the pad Thai. The pad thai was weirdly sweet and tangy, and super soggy. I asked for more peanuts and chili flakes to improve the taste but it was just nasty so we stopped eating and asked the server to take it off but she refused to remove it from invoice. Horrible experience, never going back. Go to burma love or burma superstar instead!
