Possibly my favorite place in SF now. Amazing price for the food ($4 banh mi) and very nice employees.

Went to Jojo's for the first time yesterday. My girlfriend and I were enticed by the $6.99 American breakfast with a free latte and the $4 bahn mi. With the prices being so affordable, my expectations were low, but they absolutely NAILED IT! Solid portion, the pancakes, eggs, and sausage were perfect and the latte was something you would get from a SF artisinal coffee shop (i saw the espresso machine after we ordered and realized they meant business). We took the bahn mi to work for lunch and after sitting in the fridge for hours, the sandwich was still absolutely perfect. I cannot wait to go back again and try the rest of their inventive menu. Keep it up guys, you found yourselves some regulars!

This place not only has a chill atmosphere, but rally amazing food at super reasonable prices. I'd recommend this place if you are a student at CCSF. Definitely a business I’ll be introducing my friends to if they ever come out for a visit.

We are long time customers here and often see friends and teachers in the community eating here. The food is good and not expensive. The atmosphere is nice and the service is considerate. A great place to get a quick dinner with family on a busy day.

Jo Jo's is one of my go-to places for clean Chinese food. It turns out they recently switched to serving Vietnamese food but kept a few of their previous items. I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did! I was torn between their Beef Noodle Soup and the Laksa. I'm a huge fan of Laksa and opted for the Vietnamese noodles instead. Also ordered a Macaroni Soup with sausages and an egg for the kids which they inhaled. The Laksa is one of the better ones I've had. Broth was well balanced in taste and texture. It was not too thick and not too light, just right. It wasn't over powered with the coconut flavor so you can taste the subtle hint of shrimp paste. I believe it's usually served with the vermicelli but I went with the Vietnamese noodles instead since it can carry more of the flavor of the soup. Customer service was impeccable. I'm one of those customers that need to customize everything and have to have it just the way I want and they gave me just that. Suggestions were taken and requests were fulfilled. Full and satisfied belly at the end of the night. I really couldn't have asked for more. I"ll definitely be back for the Beef Noodle Soup!

Cute, cozy, modern cafe serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A good portion of the food is build your own entree: rice bowl, soup bowl, or noodle plate. The rest of the food is brunch or the usual Cantonese cafe food. The food is clean, not too salty, and portions are not oversized. They accept credit card with no minimum and deliver. This cafe serves traditional Cantonese cafe food without the usual cash only payment option.

This new and improved JoJo's is now very obviously geared towards a younger generation with the cute decor and "pay before you eat" system. They also serve a lot of Vietnamese food now which is kinda strange because I always thought of this place as Hong Kong-ese. In any case, I feel like the crowd here is the same: older folks and persons who want a quick meal alone. I come here quite often actually and it's mainly because of their 3.99 BREAKFAST! No where else can you get an egg, bacon/sausage, slice of toast, and hash browns/french toast/pancake for 3.99. Another plus, the Hong Kong milk tea is as close as you can get to an actual authentic milk tea in America (according to my parents who are from Hong Kong).

Nice little spot. Prices are better in person, they are more expensive on doordash so just go physically. Food is good. I’m a white guy so idk how authentic it is but I see mostly Asian people inside and the menu is also written in Chinese so yeah!

I ordered the chicken with garlic noodles and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy full of flavor and the noodles were also jam packed with flavor. Great pricing and great food portions. Interior is exceptionally clean with a nice atmospere. All in all Incredibly impressed with this place!

Delicious food and excellent service! I got the cold vermicelli noodles bowl with grilled chicken, and they even made it gluten free to accommodate my allergy, substituting plain grilled chicken and a side of fish sauce instead of the premarinated lemongrass chicken (soy sauce is added to all the meats and contains wheat but the plain grilled chicken has no sauce and is gluten-allergy friendly). Happy to have found a new local favorite, and will definitely be back again soon.

I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Some of the best food for some of the lowest prices you’re going to find in SF. I paid $6.99 for a full breakfast with French toast, bacon, eggs, and orange juice. For lunch or dinner, get the grilled chicken plate. Thank me later.

So far I can find most reasonable prices in SF. Quality and quantity nothing less than other restaurants. Even they’re small working team but their service attitude is great. Highly recommended.

I want to gatekeep this place but it’s too good. Get the spicy garlic string beans, baked pork chop (or whatever variation), and the chow mein / chow fun. Skip the pot stickers. Order and pay first, then you eat. I like this as it’s similar to casual restaurants in Asia.

Excellent! The Eggplant in Garlic Sauce was super fresh, cooked to perfection! Slight crisp while tender on the inside, Sauce had just the right bite

Came here after a long run and it filled me up! Good: - The curry laksa soup was amazing! - The baked pork chop was also amazing - so much flavor - The portion sizes and prices were great- we even took home almost the whole dish since we had so much food left over. - The place is super clean and modern inside, super cute and nice fairy lights and tons of seating, no wait Bad: - The food took a little bit to get to us, and it was really cold inside on a super cold day - The servers don't speak great english so it's a bit hard to communicate Overall would come again for the value.

I stumbled upon this spot while I was walking aimlessly down Ocean Ave. I was in the mood for a satisfying soup, so I ordered the chicken pho noodle soup. It was satisfying indeed. The soup was tasty, hot, and fresh. Big serving, and the chicken tasted of good quality. I will return to try more times!

A mostly Asian (Chinese, Vietnamese) menu that happens to also offer pretty solid breakfast standards like omelettes, pancakes, sausage, etc. It’s a perfect set up when one of us wants something more Asian for breakfast like noodle soup with a tasty fried egg on top and the other wants western breakfast! I had wonton noodle veg soup. Wontons had delicate texture with balanced flavor in the pork/shrimp filling,. Husband had western classic special 2 eggs, 2 sausage, pancakes, AND it came with coffee or milk tea (you never see that in SF) Friendly staff, very laid back atmosphere. The price was very reasonable. Will be back to try other menu items.

Overall: I used to come here specifically for their Gan Ba Chicken Wings before they renovated a couple years ago. Returned to see if their Gan Ba Chicken Wings are the same and to check out their Vermicelli bowls, both were good for a HK cafe spot. Everything is priced reasonably, quick yet friendly service, and clean setting. Would come again to try the HK food! Food: The Vermicelli with Lemongrass Chicken and Imperial Roll ($11.95) had all the toppings (peanuts, fried garlic, green onion) that I appreciate. The chicken was cooked well with good flavor; however, I didn't taste any lemongrass. The imperial roll is not the kind I usually receive from Vietnamese restaurants, which have a different skin and contain meat. I personally feel that the egg rolls at Jo Jo's are on the oiler side. Although the Gan Ba chicken wings ($13.50 for 10 pcs) are not the same as they were 5+ years ago, they were still plump, juicy, and fried to a nice crisp. The sauce was neither too thick or thin and I kept going back for more of it, especially to dip my vermicelli. I had one bite of my friend's garlic noodles which were flavorful and had good texture/firmness; I definitely prefer these over Perilla.

Newly remodeled looks completely different than it did before and the ordering process is also different. You now order like a fast food restaurant where you order at the counter and take a number. They have two menus one is your traditional Chinese rice plates and the other American style breakfast. The rice plates are $9 and you get a ton of rice, I happen to see someone else eating pan fried noodles which weren't on the menu. The house special noodles was a little too salty for my taste but still good. Currently offering 15% off promo not sure if it was applied since I didn't get an itemized receipt.

Updated review 5/1/2021. Today I had their two meat omelette. It contains avocado, bacon, bell peppers, cheese, sausage, onion and spinach. The omelette didn't have much depth and was flat. For $10.50, the omelette comes with a juice or latte. I opted for coffee for $2 extra. Their coffee was decent. It is much better than the Folgers coffee most Chinese restaurants serve. I wasn't quite full after the tasty little thin omelette. A Macau pork chop bun was ordered for takeout in case I get hungry later. Original review: Indoor brunch today 3/20/21. The interior of the restaurant felt like a contemporary beer brew house/wine tasting room with brick and wood decor. Jojo's Cafe have three indoor tables and four outdoor tables at their parklet for COVID. They offer American style breakfast specials, Vietnamese entrees such as garlic noodles and pho and Hong Kong style cafe dishes such baked pork chops spaghetti and instant noodles (they call it "ramen" on their menu.) I had the corned beef hash, eggs over easy, hash browns, sausage breakfast plate $9 and pork chops instant noodles $6. In tradition with Hong Kong style cafes, the food came out within five minutes. The waitress was really busy with to-go overs and other customers with all seven tables full at 11am. The golden crispy hash browns and over easy style eggs were acceptable. The corned beef hash and sausage were salty and missed their mark on texture. The broth on my pork chops instant noodles was overpowered with a vegetable soup taste. The chef put too much broccoli and lettuce in there. I would have preferred the seasoning pack that came with Top Ramen. A traditional tomato based Hong Kong style cafe broth would have worked too. The egg and pork chop were good though. My bill was $20 with tax and tip.

Sadly JoJo's Chinese menu is gone. Those fantastic salt and pepper chicken wings are no more. Its the same owners but they've changed the restaurant to a Vietnamese restaurant. They also rearranged some of the furniture. Decided to give them a try and I just found it to be bland Vietnamese food. Nothing really special about it. They still have chicken wings on the menu but now it's 4 pieces for $6. I asked if they were under new management but all they said is that the cook had changed. I hope they do well and stay in business but without their old menu and Pho Ha Tien being right down the block doesn't leave me much reason to go back.

I had the pork vermicelli......it was going good until the noodles tasted a litter bit like dish liquid. The imperial roll was good.

Wei’s Café is a cozy spot that locals know well, even if it's easy to miss. I visited to have dinner with friends. The café is small, with just a few tables, including one long table for groups. Locals also refer to it as Jo Jo’s Café. The menu offers a mix of American breakfast favorites, Cantonese dishes, Vietnamese options, and some Hong Kong-style meals. This variety provides plenty of choices for any craving. We shared several dishes, including Chicken Chow Fun, Spicy Garlic String Beans, and Basil Tofu. Everything was good, and the portions were big enough to share easily. This café isn't flashy or trendy; it's a laid-back place serving familiar food at a steady pace. If you're in the Ocean Avenue area and want a casual meal in a friendly environment, Wei’s Café is a great choice.

So so food. Very cold restaurant, expect to wear your jacket inside) We were looking for some noodle soup in the morning on a weekday and this was one of the few options that popped up. Got the combo laksa and the special combo pho. Laksa was meh. I didn't have high expectations and I was not wrong. Flavour of soup is weak, I wanted more coconut and shrimp flavor or even salt. Best thing in the laksa was the fried shrimp, that was delicious and the fried tofu pieces. The chicken was tender, and I didn't really get much beef. Noodles were very chewy which I think I liked Everything else tasted blanched in plain water and flavorless (fish balls, peeled shrimp). Pho was actually pretty decent. There was some super tender pieces of beef. The hk milk tea was good and they gave us complimentary veggie egg rolls which weren't bad. Would go back to try their baked rice.

The combination sandwich I had was lacking flavor. Service was kind of slow. My sandwich came pretty quickly but my husband's noodle took a long time. By the time my husband's noodle bowl came, I was almost done with my sandwich. I took my time as is. My husband was disappointed with his noodle bowl also.

Very disappointed with a recent visit. They mistreated my wife and 3 year old son -- tossed out their food when they were using the restroom and still had their personal belongings at the table. Right before they used the restroom, we asked the waitress for a Togo box. So with personal belongings, an empty Togo box and full plates of food on the table, the wait staff tossed everything away. When we asked about it the waitress just said "huh". No apology, no restitution just pure ignorance. And we even tipped.
