Update: came back for brunch (they recently started being open on both Saturdays and Sundays 11-3pm). Food was great - we got the two quiches (the quiche Lorraine and the vegetarian one of the day), which came with hummus and pita, as well as a side salad with a really yummy dressing. Good portion sizes too. Would recommend! Great little spot on Fillmore. Food is great, large portions, and reasonable prices. I loved the vegetarian platter.

Superb value for money. The cheese fillo pastry was divine, the chicken not so much. Kebab was better than chicken pomegranate. The setting inside was cute and good for a casual dinner or even a casual date. The server was very personable. Consider getting one main portion for two as they are pretty large. Avoid the avgolemono soup (if looking for a great execution here go to Souvla). Sit inside.

Fantastic! My first time here but won’t be the last for sure! Ordered the Lamb Kabab to go. It came with rice, hummus, pita, and Avgolemono soup. This was the first time I’ve had that type of soup and it was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff were warm and welcoming. Next time I am in Dan Francisco, I’ll be back.

updated 9/2024 stopped by for light dinner and had a solid meal. mostly serving up classic dishes, don’t expect to by mind blown but this place will satisfy your cravings. lovely interior albeit a little cramped and friendly service. pomegranate chicken was the highlight! figs: this dish two ways was amazing. packed with flavor and the presentations complimented each other lamb meatballs: the meatball itself lacked flavor but cooked well fillo: both were tasty but especially enjoyed the spinach and feta one. chicken one had an interesting sweet note. pomegranate chicken: big portions and great flavor. ——————- had this restaurant for lunch thru fork able and tried the pomegranate chicken. - the chicken was nice and juicy and had a unique flavor with the hint of pomegranate - the portions could have been bigger

Was a must have meal on my list again this trip to San Francisco. Yum! Get the sampler platter and enjoy multiple options. It’s all so good! Ate it too fast to take pics! Enjoy FOUND A PIC!! My mouth is watering just looking at it!

The walls of this restaurant are alive with character - dolls from decades past, and little trinkets peeking out of nooks. The avegolemono soup was pleasantly sour and conforting, like a warm citrusy whisper. The chicken shawarma was juicy, flavorful, and grilled just right. The hibiscus cooler, though rich in color, missed a bit of the zingy sparkle I was expecting, it needed more of a floral bite. But honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience. We ate our food with ravenous gusto!

We tried the pomegranate chicken and moussaka. While the pomegranate chicken was great, the moussaka was average as it didn't feel authentic. The cosy vibe of the restaurant transports you back to a Greek tavern. They also offer draft beers from Lebanon which was refreshing to find.

A wonderful spread of food. Dips were a great start and it was nice having pita & veggies to dip with. We got the falafel sandwich and the chicken skewers. Both were very good. Very friendly service :)

I wanted to try something different for lunch but I got 30 minutes only. Found this restaurant, checked Google reviews, most of them were positive, so I decided to try it out. I ordered Lunch Middle Eastern Plate with chicken, sandwiches and small plate of lamb meatballs. It was delicious. Portion was good. Exactly what I wanted for a quick lunch. Nice atmosphere, good service overall except for a little issue. Will come back again if I go to Pacific Heights.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. Your typical greek dishes are available. We came on a saturday and had a 20 min. wait for our table (group of 6). Several options for vegetatians available. Tends to be real busy especially on weekends. Our orders got mixed. We ordered sparkling water but never got it and yet we were billed. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

First off, our waiter was amazing and service was great. The place itself is beautiful and the decorations are beautiful. However, the food here is TERRIBLE. We got the large dip platter as a starter, I got the lamb shawarma, and my partner got the vegan kofta. None of the 3 plates taste good, not a single thing on them. The grape leaves tastes off, the hummus tasted more like soft garlic sauce and worst was the lamb platter. I took a bite and immediately regretted it. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone somewhere where I was unable to go past the first bite of food. The rice was soft and the soft strips of lamb were unseasoned peaces of fat that melted into your mouth and into the soft unsavory rice. Food should be the most important aspect of a restaurant so although everything else was great, I could never imagine coming here again.
