Opinions de Rad Radish San Francisco
This place is amazing! The interior and decor are as fun and trendy as I’ve seen in the city and the food is awesome! I’ve eaten at wildseed before but this place takes that same level of tasty plant based food and brings it into the fast casual arena, a game changer. The service was amazing (there’s even an option to order at a kiosk if you don’t feel like talking to anyone) and I got my to go order super fast! We ordered the impossible burger, fries, juices, and a kale Caesar salad and everything was down right delicious! I’m so happy Rad Radish has opened and it will definitely become one of my go to restaurants.
I went to this place twice in a span of three days and I couldn't stop salivating for their carrot ginger soup. The first time I ordered a couple of appetizers and a cup of soup and it was perfect. Next time around I ordered one appetizer and a bowl of soup and I was hungry after the meal. There is not a big difference between the cup and a bowl. The falafel tastes so fresh and wonderful in the sauce. I went here again. Their veggie with hummus was wonderful. Couples with a salad it was a great lunch.
Wandered in here before a matinee at the opera house. Wow! Reasonably priced vegetarian food with lots of options for gluten-free as well. Ordering is fast and unique. Food came within just a couple of minutes for the first course. We arrived at 12:30 on a Sunday, by 1 o’clock the place was pretty full. Casual dining and delicious.
January 2023: Came here for lunch and tried the beet poke salad and the veggie burger 🍔. Both were really tasty. The beet poke salad had a lot of ingredients that made the salad surprisingly delicious. Had macadamia nuts, seaweed, sesame oil, beets, cucumber. Really wonderful 👍. The burger was good. Mushroom , black beans and rice make up the patty. Had nice crisp. Tried the blueberry soda and the pomegranate soda. Everything was fantastic 😍. Will be back for more vegan food!
Upscale yet casual vegan spot that is great for non-vegans. Even though everything is 100% plant-based, it is very hard to tell with certain items such as their Impossible Burger or TiNDLE Chicken Sandwich. I also highly recommend their pizzas, especially the Potato Pizza. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in Hayes Valley.
The food here is absolutely amazing! I was truly blown away by everything we had. The beet salad is very very tasty, perfectly dressed and seasoned, and the ingredients compliment each other well. It is a little bit spicy so be prepared for that. The white being hummus and veggies are incredibly tasty, salted to perfection. And the wild seed burger is meaty and the ingredients well balanced. The concept here is really great, you order from a kiosk or can go up to a counter. The food came out really fast and the service, well very light, was attentive and courteous. The bathrooms are clean, the decor is really cool. If you're a fan of wild seed you're going to love this restaurant. I'm so happy to have it so much closer to where I live.
This has to be one of the top vegan spots in the city. Place was clean and the self order instructions were pretty simple. There are a plethora of menu items to choose from which was hard for me since everything looked really appetizing. We ordered the Neatball Masala, Spicy Sausage Pasta and the Spicy Marinated Cucumbers. All tasted amazing but my favorite was the Neatball Masala, very hearty and flavorful. I have to give the staff props for service since I ordered Ginger Turmeric probiotic soda which I spilled by accident. They cleaned it immediately and gave me a new one on the house. Overall this was an amazing spot! Def will come by if I'm in San Fran again.
I love Rad Radish, Hayes St, and I wish I lived around the corner and could get their food delivered!! Visited before a night at the symphony (my second visit!); love everything about it! The environment is clean and welcoming and the service is attentive and fast! Especially loved the Orecchiette pasta (I crave it!) and the Caesar salad, my husband loved the neatballs. We got a chocolate chip cookie to go, (really appreciate the simple envelope-style wrapping). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rad Radish to vegans, plant-based eaters, vegetarians or full-on carnivores- it's really that good!
Rad Radish is consistently good, with high quality veggies and flavorful entrees. They package all the food very nicely too. Thank you for delicious vegan options in SF! And kudos to your chefs. <3
Spicy chickn sandwich is actually spicy. I always want to try other things but the sandwich is so good I have to have it. Even the ketchup is ridiculously good. When I first started coming here they were never too packed inside. Now if I come 11am or a little after lunch almost every table is full. Wish they had more locations.
Delicious vegan restaurant with a wide variety of tasty appetizers, mains, desserts, and beverages. Always seems to be packed but the service is quite quick, so it's a good option even if you're trying to squeeze in dinner before a show. Lots of seating with a reasonably nice ambience, though many of the tables are quite close together so you feel a bit like you're having dinner with your table neighbors.
Rad Radish takes fast casual dining up a notch. Absolutely delicious, all-vegan menu. My husband and I went there twice on our most recent visit to the city. The chilaquiles and burgers were great.
I had dinner at Rad Radish yesterday and was thoroughly impressed by this 100% plant-based gem in Hayes Valley. The restaurant immediately catches your eye with its vibrant, colorful signage and welcoming storefront that perfectly captures the energy of the neighborhood. I ordered the Impossible Burger with avocado and fries, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was expertly prepared with a great balance of flavors and textures - the Impossible patty was juicy and satisfying, complemented perfectly by fresh avocado and crisp lettuce on a sesame seed bun. The fries were golden and crispy, served alongside a delicious ketchup that tied the meal together beautifully. What really sets Rad Radish apart is the atmosphere. The space is stunning with its modern industrial design, featuring exposed ceilings, warm wood floors, and an abundance of lush greenery throughout. The hanging plants and natural elements create such a fresh, inviting environment that makes you want to linger. The lighting is perfect for both casual dining and catching up with friends. The restaurant strikes that perfect balance of being trendy yet comfortable, with a layout that feels both spacious and intimate. It’s clear they’ve put thought into creating a space that’s as beautiful as their food is delicious. Rad Radish proves that plant-based dining can be both satisfying and stylish. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu - this place is a real winner in the Hayes Valley dining scene!
All vegan here. Good place to stay for the concert across Davies Symphony Hall. Vibrant and cozy atmosphere. So it’s not a very quiet place. But it’s a relaxing place to work alone or spend time with friends. Free WiFi. Scan QR code to order. So many varieties to choose from Salads, drinks, breakfast, brunch… The green juice is fresh.
Vegan food done perfect 😋 I really enjoyed the ‘egg’ sandwich with beyond sausage patty!!! The spicy chick’n sandwich was so crispy and sauced up wonderfully. The matcha milkshake made me so happy.
Awesome place to get some vegan food quickly! Super easy to order and fast service. Really nice atmosphere. I recommend the spicy vegan chicken sandwich 😋. I had the neatballs which was a healthy dish but not as good as the sandwich
OMG, Rad Radish in San Francisco is the ULTIMATE spot for plant-based food lovers! From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was going to be magic. The clean, inviting, and brightly colored environment instantly put me in a good mood, and the staff was so friendly and attentive—such a warm vibe! Here's what I ordered: Breakfast Sandwich: Flavor explosion, no, seriously, it was EVERYTHING. Chilaquiles: Crispy, tangy, and perfectly spiced—such a great start to the day. Spicy Marinated Cucumbers: Fresh, spicy, and totally addictive. Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Lavender: Sweet, floral, and the perfect way to wash it all down. What truly blew me away was how quickly everything was prepared—no waiting around, but you could tell the food was made with love and care. The prices were super reasonable, which only adds to the insanely good value here. Bonus points for sharing ownership with WildSeed in the Marina, another amazing plant-based gem in the Marina Bay area! If you’re vegan (or just love good food), Rad Radish is a must-visit for a flavorful meal any time of day. Thank you, Rad Radish, for making my plant-based adventure in SF absolutely radiant! 🌟🌱 I WILL BE BACK (SOON)!
Really loved this place! Delicious vegan food, everything came out super fast. Ordering is easy — either from your phone or using the self-service kiosk. The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, and stylish. I’ll definitely be back! 💚
Second time here- epic yumminess! Last time I had the chicken Caesar salad, this time their autumn harvest bowl and the best avocado toast I’ve ever had; plus a chicken Caesar wrap for my flight home the next day. Having so many options is sweet vegan torture!

Chicken sandwich and butternut squash soup! Was yummy. Great vegan restaurant.
My wife is pescatarian and loved the options, I had the caprese burger and thought it was very enjoyable. Cozy decor and very kind staff. Was a short drive from our hotel in Union Square. We will absolutely be back the next time we visit SF.
Outstanding spot! The food ranges from good to excellent across their entire menu. Service is quick! Favorites are the crispy chicken sandwich, Caesar salad and Neatball Masala. Juices are excellent too.
Five stars all the way around. We didn't realize this place was vegan until we started the order. The food is phenomenal. My chilaquiles exceeded what I would normally expect at a Mexican place. Who knew oat milk lattes were as delicious as the ones with milk? We knew deliciousness was coming once we saw the side of breakfast potatoes. The prices here are cheaper than most brunch places around. You do order from your table by phone and they bring the food to you, but the service is excellent. The place is immaculate with a lovely Scandinavian modern decor decor. The bathrooms are immaculate too.

The place is really cute and welcoming and so are the people working there. The food is yummy, I got a poke bowl but I think it lacked a bit of taste and salt and ingredients. But overall good. The fries were good and the drinks as well. The service is rapid and very nice, but you have to order your meal yourself so it’s kind of a fast-food kind of approach even though the food is better quality for sure. The music is chill and present but not too loud. The atmosphere is young and fresh and very light, there are a lot of big windows. Only “complain” is that I was given the menu and, when I went to order, what I wanted was not on the list. Not every plate was available that day, which is ok but I think they should say it on their menu. Other fast-foody approach is the fact that there are no tablecloths (my honest italian opinion😂). Overall I would recommend it. Good experience. Everything is vegan, which I like :) Thank you love youu
So happy to see a new restaurant has taken over the former Grove dining space. Great concept - order online or at the kiosk and pickup your order to go or grab a table along with the pager so the server knows where to bring your meal. There are so many items on the menu that I can’t wait to come back and try. The place is clean, well lit, with friendly and responsive staff. There is also plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I had the beet poke which was very flavorful and delicious. The one thing I was not expecting was for it to be spicy. There is no mention of it for the description of this salad. I also enjoy spice so I ate it, but it was spicy enough that I almost didn’t finish the salad. I’m excited that there is a new vegan restaurant with so many options. Can’t wait to come back and try the other food items and drinks!
Great vegan brunch destination! I shared the chilaquiles and avocado toast with Just Egg, herb aioli, and pickled onion. The mains were insanely flavorful, fresh, and filling. I was also obsessed with the crispy fingerling potatoes with curry ketchup! To cleanse the palate, the chia pudding with fresh fruit and coconut strips and whip was a sweet but light finish. The service was a little lackluster and there was a general disconnect between the service and layout, considering we were the only people there. I am also not a fan of kiosks and would have preferred a table service type of arrangement. The food, however, makes up for all the shortcomings and I can't wait for another delicious dining experience here.
It's been a while since I stumbled into a Vegan restaurant, but as I have some fantastic memories of vegan dining in Japan, I thought I'd give the Rad Radish a try. The place is very inviting openly decorated and gives a cool vibe to try a dish alone or with friends or hang out and work remotely with a cup of tea on the side. So we tried their Caesar salad and spicy pizza plus some Pinot noir. The salad was really fantastic, light , and had great flavors . The pizza, yes it has a kick and doesn't fail to live up to its name. The dough could be a bit more burnt to absorb the sauce but the flavor was all there. Nicky done. The service, well it must have been my luck, as the waiter was about as unhappy as one can be. For sure we all have our bad days but in a customer service job, it does take a bit more. Smiling would go along way and saying a word or two would help as well. Definitely worth exploring...
I came here after taking someone to an appointment in San Francisco. It's one of the places where you order from a kiosk and grab your own water and utensils. I ordered the Wildseed Burger with Avocado and my friend ordered the Probiotic Bowl with the Neatballs. The Wildseed Burger was pretty good. It's had what reminded me of a southwest style "burger" with bbq sauce. The patty is made of mushroom, brown rice, spinach and black beans. It came with a pickle which was more on the sweet than dill side. The Probiotic Bowl has super greens, tamarind marinated mushrooms, purple potatoes, hemp seeds, avocado and house made kimchi topped with green goddess dressing. She added the Neatballs which are made of quinoa, millet and brown rice. I also got the Blueberry Mint Beverage. Meals are somewhere between $15-20 and items depending on add ons you might want. The place is very spacious, with windows facing the street. As it creeped past 5PM it got a bit busier. Glad I was able to try this spot out as I haven't been to a vegan place in a long time.
Incredibly fast vegan fast casual - food is decent, with a fun but not terribly innovative menu following American fast casual places like Native Foods or Veggie Grill. The service is standout here, with food coming incredibly fast and a fairly self-serve atmopshere (online ordering, bring your own water). Very easy place to just slip in and out, or chill undisturbed with friends.
Lunch treat Healthy or fast food path? Neatball Masala Blueberry oat muffin Coffee milkshake Mix of "healthy" and not. Dessert treat Very busy at 1pm Sunday afternoon which I expected. Pretty nice interior with varied seating capacity. Three ways to order, easy QR ordering with my pre-existing Toast account at table destination. Easy menu navigation and ordering. Expected SF pricing. Noticed self served water and to go boxes well after seating and lucky it was visible to me. The poor one young server was working harder than others. That's why I hate giving tip before service. Milkshake came a bit after food which came quickly. They group all drinks for multiple tables in one server trip. Masala was enjoyable with the contrast of flavors. Not large but filling. Would probably order again but much more of the menu to try for this first time. Tasty muffin but not many blueberries. Milkshake was good and dense. Overall an enjoyable lunch.
I always love visiting California because of all of the vegan restaurants! Rad radish was stunning inside. I loved the aesthetic so much and it was just a great vibe. We ordered though the table QR code and they brought our food over shortly after. We ordered the spicy marinated cucumbers (amazing!), the impossible burger (good but I’ve definitely had better), and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich (really good but something was missing here for me). When we were ordering a lot of things were either out of stock or not available yet which was disappointing. Overall it was a good experience but I’ve definitely had better vegan food before.
Delicious Vegan food in Hayes valley. Had the Breakfast sandwich with breakfast potatoes and salad . Evrything was delicious especially the potatoes! Food came quickly and ordering was easy . I will come back and try other stuff on the menu . This is conveniently located plant based eatery

We stopped in to grab some food to go. I have heard a lot about this place, but was instantly impressed by the nice atmosphere. My friend said everything was good, and I really wanted to try the wrap, but ended up getting the macha libre smash. 100% recommend! I have been so disappointed in burgers both veg and meat since moving to SF two years ago that I rarely order them anymore, but this sounded really good. It was fantastic! Cannot wait to go back and try other menu items!
After a whirlwind day of touring Muir Woods, Sausalito, taking in a Bay Cruise, and (finally) riding a cable car I walked to Rad Radish having decided to make this my destination for dinner, before finishing up my time here in San Francisco with a Sunset Double-Decker tour. I ordered the Truffle Mac 'N Cheese, as well as the Spicy Sausage Pizza and a Probiotic Ginger soda. The Truffle Mac 'N Cheese came out piping hot, but I was disappointed to find that it had an odd aftertaste. Needless to say, I didn't finish it. The pizza came out shortly after and was barely warm enough to pass muster, though it was quite tasty. I loved the Ginger Probiotic as it was a refreshing pick-me-up. The meal overall was fair, not great and if I ever find myself back in San Francisco, I'd be inclined to try out other establishments, though I'm almost always willing to give a second chance. Pros: Probiotic Sodas Cons: QR Code didn't work properly for me, Customer Service could be better, Strange aftertaste in one of the dishes I tried.
Small menu, but high quality ingredients for the chicken salad and pizza. I would try the curries if I came back again. The atmosphere is very pleasant with beautiful furniture, beautiful floors, decorative walls, with order, good combination of colors and details. I know skilled interior designers worked here.
My daughter and I stopped by on Sunday for a late lunch around 1:40 pm. The place was not busy. I'm not a fan of the kiosks for ordering because I had questions about the menu but there was no one to ask. It also isn't apparent where you can enter any special instructions like dressing on the side. I ordered the Al Pastor bowl and my daughter ordered the Reset Salad with 3 falafel as extras. The dining experience was frankly like a cafeteria. We seated ourselves in the back. The table had obviously not been wiped down because there were crumbs everywhere. No one brought any water or glasses, my daughter had to get them herself. The only time we actually saw someone, they dropped off our food and disappeared. No one came by to check how we found the food. This is a huge negative for me. The Al Pastor bowl was delicious but could have used more tofu. My daughter's salad was fine but was overdressed. Rather pricey for a vegan lunch.
The food is very brunch and lunch. It's not a place to take a date. Lots of just regular food. I'd say it's great for take out. Overall the service is great but you have to order from an app or kiosk. The food is good but forgettable. Also if you don't like vegan cheese all for no cheese they put it on the wrap.
I’m always grateful for vegan restaurants. I thought my breakfast sandwich was tasty and I enjoyed my salad, but I had to add on a lot to make it filling. My friend said food was boring and bland. I wasn’t stoked that I went to pour some water and the pitcher had like some weird debris on the inside & the cups did not slightly look clean.
I heard a lot about this place and finally tried it. I tried the spicy chickin sandwich and sadly there wasn't much flavor. It was a vegan chicken patty with some chilli oil The fries were great though

Pretty good vegan food. I would rate 3.5 stars if there were half stars. I tried the neatball masala. The iced tea was on point. Efficient but impersonal service. Reasonable prices. Decent atmosphere.
Ordered the Neatballs and they were inedible. I don't know if they weren't cooked thoroughly or what but the middle was horrible gooey mess. Even the potato leek soup was not particularly good. Did they make it with tofu to replace cream? Potato leek soup doesn't need cream and certainly doesn't need tofu. I've eaten there before and really enjoyed myself so maybe last night was just an anomaly. The service was quick and friendly but it was cold in the restaurant at dinner time. We had to move our table to the only corner that wasn't within the airstream between the two doors.
I loved coming here a lot mainly for chilaquiles but I'm completely over it. The dishes served were inconsistent serving sizes. The last time I was there the chilaquiles bowl was very empty with very little sauce and the hummus was about 2 tablespoons. In the past I've paid $1 for extra hummus and did not get extra. I paid .50 for to go Cutlery I never received. Their self serve system isn't updated with their register system that allows edits on menu items. I preferred to order through the self serve but had to switch to register in order to make edits. Their chilaquiles sauce a lot of times was made extremely spicy and very few times did it taste mild which is better and more palatable. Their service was fast but that's not why I was a return customer. I included a picture in which I ordered delivery and choose the 2x hummus and what I received were 2 small ketchup sized containers with the hummus and I paid $1 for extra. They also use to have bigger plastic containers that would better suit the hummus dish and they got rid of them, about 4oz maybe. All in all I'm done with Rad Radish and don't plan on coming back.
