OMG I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!! If you are a Chicago sports fan in the bay area then this is the bar for you. I was in the city on the day of the Bears vs packers playoff game in Jan 2026. I googled for a Chicago bears themed bar and Google told me this place. I drove to the spot and upon seeing it i knew I was in the right place. The place was filled to capacity with Bears fans. It was an exciting and very fun experience to watch the game there. Overall has a dive bar kind of feel with pool tables and lots of seating. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly even though they were just swampped with work for the entire game plus... The bar is just a regular neighborhood type bar but it is known as a place where Chicago sports are loved and shown on the regular. I will definitely be going back to watch more games there as it was just too much fun to be surrounded by my people enjoying the game we all share a passion for.
Super friendly folks, fun vibe, pool tables, darts, lots of tv for your sports viewing pleasure. A true gem! 10/10 would recommend.
Me and my boys love to go to this bar after we play basketball on Sunday nights at the recreation center nearby. We've been going there for years. They always have the game on for us and the bartenders have been fun to chat with, especially Mary who loves to make sure that we stay hydrated with water while we enjoy our beer.
It is a classic American movie bar; it's dark, wooden chairs, it has darts, jukebox and a pool table. Good selection of beers, shots and some cocktails. It is not expensive at all, don't serve food but you can bring your own and it is pet friendly. The staff are absolutely amazing!! always welcoming. Great location and excellent vibe.
Da Bears! Great Chicago bar. Watched a game here and the owner did a big welcome to everybody old and new to the bar and if that weren't nice enough, she provided at no cost to the customers, free Italian beef sliders. Love this place, can't wait to come back.
Stopped in on a Sunday morning with some friends to get the day started. The bartender was so fun and cool!
This is a great neighborhood sports bar where you can play steel tip darts (two boards) and pool. Nice bartenders and clientele!

I love this bar! 15 yrs. ago, I used to avoid this bar. I heard it had new owners so I decided to give it another shot. It's a different bar now. The new owners turned this place around! I actually felt welcomed, bartenders and patrons were happy to see me and didn't once feel any hostility or aggression directed towards me. A refreshing change from my last visit, so many years ago. I won't let that bother me anymore, I found the bar and customer base that feel more like home and family. Plenty of tavern sports available, parking is tough in this neighborhood, but the drinks are cheap and stiff, friendly tenders and patrons. May be the last, decent, neighborhood bar in this town. Don't miss it!
Everything about this place is awesome and even Joe when I ordered my shot and he hadn't made one in 20 years. I am letting him relive his youth. The staff is amazing and I can't wait to go back to Chicago now. I love Chicago and this place is close to it. Well done. Bar is cash only just know that now.
Nicest bartenders. I dog sit a little guy that can’t get enough of this place. He takes me inside and wants to say hi to everyone and they’re so friendly and say hi. Such a wonderful local pub.
My Husband and I came here last weekend to watch the Chicago Bears game while we were in SF. Everyone was very welcoming and they had lots of room for everyone to enjoy a drink and the game. A great place to watch a Bear’s win! 🐻⬇️
The BAR on Dolores is my go-to place to watch NFL football. They have all the games and are happy to put on whichever game you request. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the drinks are great, and there’s usually free food on Sundays. They are also dog-friendly. Touchdown!!
Solid local bar- great bartenders, the owner is a good guy. Fun place to watch a game or to grab a couple drinks after work.
Great vibes. The owner really knows how to hold a great Chicago Bears watch party. Probably THE best bar in SF for Bears games!
Such a nice local sports bar for an anytime visit! Friendly staff and locals! Pool table with plenty of television screens for every game on that day. Good selection of draft beer on tap as well. Clean environment with nice clean bathrooms. Not sure if they serve food but we ordered a pizza from outside and brought it in and they provided silverware and napkins.
Came to watch the bears game. Stayed for the amazing staff, food, and atmosphere. This place is seriously a gem. I'll be back next time I'm in SF.

Feels more like a suburbs bar than a Chicago bar, I wouldn’t go any greater than calling it a Chicagoland bar. Though I did meet a nice lady named Gina. If you want a Bloody Mary with loads upon loads of pepper then this your spot. Also recommend if you like to sing songs after every touch down
Local neighborhood sports bar. Friendly regulars and bartenders. Unfortunately the bar isn’t properly stocked and only the least expensive draft and bottled beers are available. Any craft beers is hit and miss. This place is run on a shoe string!!!

Visited from Chicago to watch bears game. Very disorganized. Messy place. Seating very odd. Only one bartender who did not seem happy to be there. Never got a drink. Left and went somewhere else that ended up being perfect.
Damon and Lee have created a fantastic bar that's been a beloved San Francisco spot for years. I have been a loyal supporter and truly value the community they built. My experience soured due to harmful actions by bartender Mary, her boyfriend Damien (who does not work at the bar), and Kim (another bartender who got involved despite missing the original incident). One evening, Mary was drinking whiskey on shift while her dog appeared unwell nearby. As friends who had plans to get our nails done the following week, I offered to take the dog out for some air when she did not respond. I stepped outside for 60 seconds, returned immediately, and explained what happened. She seemed upset at first, but it appeared resolved at the time. Damien (around 6 feet tall and 200 pounds) escalated the situation aggressively by dragging me outside, yelling at me with a closed fist raised, and using a racially insensitive slur (a variation of the n-word). This was deeply terrifying for me as a Black woman who is 5 feet 3 inches tall and about 120 pounds. It was not the first time either, he had previously shouted at me when I jokingly asked for a glass of water, though he later apologized, saying that is how he talks to friends. I accepted that and moved forward as adults. A week later, I returned to the bar calmly to clarify the situation and even apologize for any confusion about the dog. Instead, Mary called the police, falsely claiming I had threatened her and that I was banned from the bar (both untrue). Six officers arrived and, after hearing my side, confirmed I was within my rights as a customer and that while she was not required to serve me, others certainly could. They all comforted me while I cried because I could not believe the escalation. I complied fully and left peacefully. Despite this, Mary and now Kim (who was not even present for the original issue) continue to deny me service, blacklist me, and spread false stories, like me trying to steal her dog, to other bartenders and patrons across San Francisco. This defamation has real consequences: people I have known for years now avoid me, harming my deep community ties here, where my family has roots, and my professional reputation in human resources, where trust is everything. Mary has also openly admitted to me and others that she takes unpaid shots while on shift. She previously bragged about getting a Black male bartender fired by sending footage of a messy bar to the owner, then later denied it, showing a pattern of inconsistent and harmful behavior. This ongoing exclusion, harassment, and slander must end. I deeply respect Damon and Lee's hard work and want everyone to thrive and make money in this tough economy, but the actions of these staff members undermine the inclusive, welcoming environment they have created. Update: I am pursuing legal action and have a meeting with an attorney next week. I have never received an apology or a chance to discuss the situation, and so many people are now shaming me and my name because of a complete misunderstanding. The owners have decided I am no longer welcome, and I fully respect that. I want everyone to be happy and to make money in this economy. If the bar must be held liable, I will likely drop the suit, but if I can stop Mary and Damien from continuing to harm my reputation, then I will do so. Because I am being honest, I am happy to swear on a Bible about this experience and why this matter is completely ridiculous and unjust. Black people, women especially, are unfairly targeted in the US, and the one place that was a haven, the Bay Area, is now seeing that inclusion spread thin. I refuse to lay down and say it's okay. It is not. The optics do not lie, and yet again I am having to stand up for myself without a single human being supporting me. It hurts, but I won't let this ruin others' good experiences at the bar. Do better and be better, life is short, and there's no need to continue spreading hate.
