Opinions de The Page San Francisco
One of the best bars in SF. Great tap selection, pool, foosball, full bar with top shelf selection, carpeted!, free pizza if you show up during early happy hour. And all at a very respectable price. Go-to pregame spot if you're seeing a show at The Independent.
The best. No notes.
They serve a whisky shot and a beer for a fair price, and their wine selection is very good. This is one of the few bars I feel comfortable with; the staff is always nice, and if you go on a sunday evening, there's plenty of space to sit and relax.
Even though I don't drink alcohol, I just have to recommend this little spot due to the pleasant atmosphere. Weird that I was stung by a Murder Hornet last night and no stores in the area were open. Thanks to the beautiful tender at The page I was able to apply ice on the sting until I made it home. Thanks for relieving the pain and helping a brotha out.
An institution. Has only gotten better post-pandemic and the techbro exodus. Still a bit crazy on the weekend.
They had jazz all weekend. Great combos too with lots of talent. Good beers on tap and everything is reasonably priced. Friendly staff with good hustle.
The Page is a quintessential neighborhood bar in San Francisco. Draft beer still at incredible prices, some surprising and fun bottles hiding on the shelves, and a ton of character. Excellent outdoor seating or cozy indoor spots, hard to go wrong here
God tier dive bar. Great selection. Outdoor music on nice days. Special table in the back that's a 2player pac man arcade. Anyone giving this place a low rating is a hater.
If you're searching for a place that offers an incredible fusion of affordable drinks, sensational live music, and a vibrant atmosphere, look no further than this gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an ambiance that instantly puts you in the mood for a good time.
Cool old school vibe. Its almost like you're drinking in a 70s basement in the best way possible. Also a great beer selection and good shot+beer combos
10/10 hang out spot, bar in the front and cozy hogwarts-common room vibe down in the back. Also not crazy overpriced ($7/beer) which is a deal these days. Went on a friday night around 8-9pm and it was the perfect evening chatting with friends.
Our neighborhood dive. A lively place with decent drinks and a serviceable tap list, and the best parklet in town. Some weekends there's live music, always great musicians. The interior looks like they haven't changed much since 1959, just the way a dive bar should look. Is there a pool table back there somewhere? IDK. I've never been that far back.
This place has gone through so many iterations but in its current form as The Page it’s gone from a 4* to a 5* in my opinion during the pandemic. I’m hoping the daily live music comes back but this cash only (indoors) venue is top tier in my book. Classic dive with beer/sidecar specials and pbr to high quality cans.
Bar has perfect mix of high and low aesthetics: it is fashionably grungy but then I noticed its collection of beautiful leather chairs which gave the bar a look of a upscale cigar club; music today was bouncy and meaty, big and beaty; Halloween themed, perhaps from the 1950s, ; I ordered “Harmony Kolsch” beer , a smooth and sweet local lager. Sat in cozy corner with a friend while another patron’s dog scampered about my feet. Why does the men’s bathroom have no lock ? Is this a generational thing?
Visiting from Kansas for the long weekend and stumbled upon this local meet up. Great cash only spot with affordable drinks and delicious Indian food available to order at the bar. The butter chicken was delicious but the real winner was the saag paneer! What a treat since we don’t get this diverse food back home. Love San Fran!
This place is so adorable! I got a delicious martini and my dad got a yummy stout on draft 😻🍸🍻
The Page. What a lovely dive bar! Definitely one of the best parklets in the city with frequent live music. Amazing spot during a sunny day. Cheers 🍻
Love The Page! Been coming here back when it was called Chances. It's a local bar. They have outdoor seating. You can pay using QR codes or cash. Make sure to check the beer and whiskey special. Although they don't serve food, you can bring food inside. They have menus of places nearby. My favorite is Little Chihuahua which is a couple of doors down. They have great outdoor seating. The jukebox is pretty sweet too. They started having live music there as well.
My favorite bar in SF! I come here nearly every year on my birthday to celebrate another trip around the sun. I know that by removing the pool and foosball table from the lower level helped free up some space inside, but I miss playing a round. They have the friendliest bartenders in the city. I hope that the Page never changes, carpeted floors and all!!!
Stopped in for one...stayed for the great staff, great band, great atmosphere! Quintessential neighborhood pub / bar, featuring a broad selection of Whiskey. During pandemic, there is lots of well distanced outdoor seating AND touch less ordering! Great Job - The Page
Just decided to stop in on the off chance that they would still have Pliny the Younger from Russian River Brewing left over from this years San Francisco beer week, they didn't for obvious reasons (it's amazing!). However there was still a very welcoming feeling in this cozy and intimate atmosphere. The bartender was welcoming and charming, offering suggestions with knowledge and she was very observant and pleasant! The ambiance is created not just by the friendly interactions of those around you but also the red tinted lights and how they complement the red walls and chairs. If that doesn't do it for you take a short walk to the back to find foosball, a pool table, dice, and a tabletop arcade game. I appreciate this bar not only for being in a neighborhood of up and comers but also this establishment has been the Page since Thanksgiving 2004 and there has been a bar on this corner since the 40's. This well known bar is perfect for those who enjoy the dive bar experience with a little class. Do yourself a favor and stop by!
Very chill, friendly staff and great tap list. The bar is dark but welcoming with plenty of tables and chairs in addition to the regular bar and also a big sunken area in the back with more tables and chairs. Can't wait to go back soon!
I have had a lot of drinks before, but my favorite was made by Amanda who works at the Page!! She is so friendly, so welcoming and makes sure each drink is perfect. She goes above and beyond for all her customers. We would 110% go back to the page, if Amanda is working there!!
Great service, good beer, saw some friends and enjoyed live awesome music! 👍🏾

Cool little bar! It has the look and feel of an old cabin. We went on a Thursday evening before dinner and it was packed. Make sure you keep an eye out for tables that may leave or you'll end up standing the whole time.
Thanks to my friend who's a local of the panhandle for showing me this lovely place. The drinks are just right and they throw in a seasonal mix too. I had my first mulled wine here. It has an ambient outdoor seating that you can enjoy with your friends on a cool San Franciscan evening. They have tasty food too in collaboration with The Little Chihuahua.
Sometimes they have music in/outside. If there’s one bar that’s allowed to have carpet, it’s The Page. Been coming here for over 15 years!!! Love this spot.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Kevin was a lovely server. Would come back!

“Light” Dive bar with good beer on tap. It has a pool table and a fussball table out back. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends. Pool table is inconsistent since you never know if the cues are in decent state or a ball might be missing. Cash only
A good little dive bar to hang out after work. Good amount of traffic on a Wednesday night. Drinks are properly priced for a dive bar experience. A good place to hang out and people watch and possibly meet new friends while at it. :)
A great dive bar, of the kind that is rapidly disappearing in San Francisco. I only had beer, but the had a sweet selection of booze on hand. Probably don't make too many artisanal concoctions, but the girlfriend had a Martini she loved. Prices are extremely reasonable. Wish it were closer to home.
Great Place, Go For The ale's, the easy talking, but watch out for the serious pool-players, especially one's with ESPN type of rules. Other than that, I would just check a book off the shelf and read it while drinking, you'll be impressed bye how many people will wonder what you're reading and why? especially on a weekend night! :)
Decent local pub with comfortable retro "lounge" tables and chairs. They've got a pool table and foosball! Excellent selection of craft beers. This place can get very crowded on the weekend nights, but it's manageable on weeknights and around happy hour. Very friendly bartenders, and a relatively unpretentious crowd (for the most part...)
This place is all about the environment. Everyone needs a neighborhood dive bar, and this is the one I've adopted. Good beer selection. Wine selection has been on and off. And if you're ordering cocktails, still with something simple (this is not the place to get an Old-Fashioned and expect great things). From the game tables to the old-school phone booths, this place is comfortable and has its own unique charm.
Good beer selection (including a couple hard to find beers that I haven't seen many other places) and good prices. It's an intimate little dive bar that wasn't overwhelming with loud music or TVs, which I definitely liked. It was nice to be out for a few drinks and not need to shout over the ambient noise. The pool tables definitely looked like they've seen better days, but they were definitely not in any worse shape than any other dive I've been in. Good place to hang out; I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the neighborhood.
First off, I really like the Page. It's been my go to for years. Over the years, seen alot of turnover, some good, some ok. Great parklet with killer music and a great vibe. That being said, the last few times I've been in, it's been One bartender for a full house. Last visit was a 20 min wait to get a beer while standing directly at the bar. Tender kept passing me by as I waited patiently. He saw me there, but kept letting the "regulars" jump in at the other end of the bar and serving them...definitely not the way to get repeat business, even though ive been going there for years. When I did get served, tender was nice. I wanted another drink or two, but didn't want to deal with feeling ignored again, so i just moved on. I felt bad for the tender cuz he was spread thin and didn't look like he was having fun. Additionally, it was 1 to 1.5 min after every service cuz he had to ring it in the register. I used to come in all the time and they had 2 tenders, which was way better for everyone. Just seems a bit like it's turned into a "regulars" bar and you don't get fat service unless your recognized....kind of a bummer.
Funky cash only bar with live jazz. Very old school. Good liquor drinks, but a pathetic selection of beers
Lots of drinks that won't break your wallet. Super friendly staff. And you can bring outside food to enjoy with your favorite drink. So is generally pretty crowded and has a very good vibe. So what more can you ask for, come get a drink.
brunette Bartender can be rough, moody or unfriendly, the doorman is the best! Overall the spot is a classic SF watering hole. Great bar, cash only!
Cool old neighborhood bar - now frequented by Young hipsters. I think they have live music on occasion too.

This retro bar has character, but not a lot of space to move around. On a Friday night it was quite busy with a wide array of people, but that was all part of the fun. Fair warning: the retro leather seats with small cocktail tables make a narrow path between a long bar (which makes you quickly comfortable with your neighbors). The door guy was a marvelous French guy. The drinks were pretty affordable, and the electronic jukebox makes it easy to play DJ to the entire bar.
The Page is a cool hipster bar on Divis with a kind of grungy vibe and is a cool place to grab a beer. The bar is long and narrow with a pool table in the back and an occasional band jammed into the front corner. Great place to grab a beer and hang out in a very causal atmosphere.
So, I was in the area and had time to spare. I always like bars with a jukebox so I went in. Immediately the female bartender seemed so uninterested taking my order but the biggest thing, was that i put on some songs. I put on a song by Olivia Newton John since she had just died and one by Janet Jackson and the guy at the door, gets off his chair and heads to the jukebox and turns off the music i paid for. It's rare that a bar will shut your choice off if they don't like what you play. I finished my drink and left. I would not recommend going here if you like the jukebox. The drink tasted like hella water anyway. I'm not taking my friends here.
ATM ate my card and bartender was quite rude about it :/ seemed like it would be fun spot if you’re like a 50 year old guy though
I want to preface this by saying that I have been to this bar twice before and had a pretty good experience. On Friday night, I saw an older guy hit a beer glass into another man's face pretty hard. I walked up and asked him if he was ok and he seemed to be. I noticed there was broken glass on the floor. Apparently he mistakenly grabbed the wrong drink from the bar top and the other guy reacted the way he did. I was surprised to see that the older guy was still sitting at the bar and wasn't removed immediately after this. I can't blame the bar for the behavior that I saw, but the place really seems to lack security

Servers were pretty judgy and clientele were super basic. Redeeming quality is that there is room to hang out. Update: the staff of this bar found my phone number and called to harass me, including threatening me with "a report for slander" based on receiving a bad review. Deeply unprofessional, just go to any other bar in sf.
Didn't catch his name, but the white frat bro bartender would not provide water to a dude on a bike ride. Very aggressive about it too. Unfortunate because otherwise the place was really cool. Will likely go back, but not during his shift!
