Underdogs Cantina is a great American-Mexican bar in San Francisco. They have a good variety of draft beers and cocktails, but I especially love their house-made Bloody Mary’s and Micheladas. The Nachos Son Muy Grande with carne asada were delicious and packed with flavor. We also tried the churros, which were tasty but a little undercooked and doughy. What really makes this place awesome is how easy it is to order—just scan the QR code at your table and the food and drinks come out quick. The atmosphere is lively with plenty of seating and TVs showing live sports everywhere. Perfect spot to grab food, drinks, and watch a game. It’s located right across from Oracle Park. Great for pregame drinks.

The food was really good. Skinny Guacamole was so good and I have never seen it in a resturant before, brilliant! The Street tacos were a little dry. The child's bean and cheese burrito was so tasty, they use whole pinto beans, we gave it 2nd place. The extra crispy wings were great. We gave them 1st place. The soft taco was packed full, very tasty. We recommend Underdogs!

I was in the neighborhood for work when lunchtime rolled around. A quick query in the Google Machine brought Underdogs to my attention. Located directly across the street from the baseball stadium, this is a great place for sports junkies to get their fix by pre-gaming or getting some tasty libations and grub after the game. It's a true sports bar. Lots of tv's and sports memorabilia along with a small arcade of video and carnival games upstairs. Underdogs doesn't carry a strict bar food menu - maybe that's why it's a "Cantina"....? I chose the burrito bowl, which sounded like it would be tasty and healthy, no tortilla required! I wasn't disappointed by the quick delivery of a hefty bowl chock full of perfectly cooked chicken, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. This baby could easily feed 2. I haven't been to a Giants home game yet. I can tell you, however, that Underdogs will be a part of my initiation to SF baseball!

We decided to stop be here before a giants game, after a very disappointing dinner near by. The bar was fairly filled but we managed to find a spot at the bar. The waitress was very attentive and personable. We ordered the nachos and some drinks, not expecting much from a bar outside of the stadium. Let me tell you .. the nachos .. chef’s kiss. The perfect pregame appetizer. Crisp tortillas that withheld the salsa sogginess. Next time I’m I town, this will be my first stop.

Underdogs has an amazing menu. Their Breakfast Burritos and Elote con Queso are delicious. The Chilaquiles plate can be overwhelming, but is filling and tasty.

I've only ever gotten one thing here, which is the "Grilled Corn & Black Bean Taco Salad with Pollo Asado". And let me tell you, it hits hard for "reasonably healthy dish" when you need a quick lunch to go. Price is reasonable, service is quick, and the included chips and two salsas are a great touch. One day I'll try another item and leave an update, but for now get the salad!

We came in for dinner to go and were very impressed. The food was hot and SO DELICIOUS. We had the San Francisco burrito with Pollo asado. The meat was well seasoned and the sauces were great. The server was very friendly! Definitely a must!

My company had an event at Underdogs Cantina back in August .The event was held in their dedicated event space directly next door to the main restaurant. Our event was extremely tricky to manage. To start we went from 100 guests to 250 guests over night less than 3 days before the event. The staff didn't even blink. They just immediately restructured and made it happen. We had VIP guests who needed to be separate from the main party. The venue itself has an upstairs balcony area with seating which was perfect to accommodate our needs. There was also a fully operational bar inside so guests were able to walk up and get drinks directly onsite instead of having to wait for drinks to be run over from the main restaurant. If you're looking for a place to host a large event, look not further. I want to add that I didn't find out until the event was over that staff voluntarily picked up shifts on their day off to come in and work our event. Saying I could not have done the event without them is an understatement. The staff at Underdogs, specifically Nem, the event manager, went so far above and beyond to make sure that everything went according to plan. I felt like he was my own personal party planner. Knowing he managed our event on top of other events in the restaurant..I don't know how he did it. Underdogs is a favorite restaurant of mine, their food is always good and it was no different for a large event. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

came here and got the guac + chips and a vegetariano crispy taco (beans and cabbage). they have multiple vegetarian options that can be made vegan by simply removing things! the chips were good but i personally didn’t like how they put the guac on top?!? inconvenient to eat lol (but good portion sizes + yum!). the taco was also huge for what i was expecting. it was 80% cabbage, 15% guac + pico and like 5% beans lol. maybe shoudlve said less cabbage! nice bar though!

The food I had (nachos and vegetarian burrito) were well portioned but just fine; there was nothing especially good or bad about them. The service was great; friendly staff members were everywhere. I ordered nachos from this place last night and was extremely disappointed. For $20, all I got were flavorless beans and plain chips, it was also burnt and only cheese on the corner. It was completely inedible, and I ended up throwing it away. Absolutely disgusting! I will NEVER order from here again.

The quesadillas I had ate gave me nasty food poisoning. My food arrived very quickly so probably it’s not made fresh. I have been sick since yesterday. Don’t recommend eating from here unless you want to get food poisoning.

But when you go to pay the bill, there is an additional Service Fee ($1+) for ordering on your phone! If anything, it should be cheaper since you need less staff. Well, now a burrito is $20 before tip with the fees and tax. Get a drink and a side it's easily $40. It's insane... This place has gone way downhill.

Blehghgggg . Semi good food if you’re hungry. But these people take advantage. Asked for a chips and salsa, they added guac and for sure they added that to the bill. Ask for reg baja taco and they add some guac, and that’s another $3 you weren’t expecting .. these guys be worst than my nail shop lady! (anjelah Johnson voice: “$20 more ok?!!” )
