These guys were really, really nice. I accidentally took someone else’s quesadilla and they made him a new one and were really nice about it. Food was highly respectable. Don’t give them a hard time.

If you’re looking for a taco that won’t disappoint, this should be your first- and last stop of every night. I’ve had both, the burrito, and every other time the steak taco. The food is hot, fresh, and prepared with passion, whether it be a slow night (like now as I write this review), or when the line is double wrapped around the block. I’m on a mission to find the best tacos in SF, and Taqueria Zorro is still on my top 5.

I regularly order from taqueria Zorro and I have had nothing short but a wonderful experience. The food is always hot and delicious, there are also options for those who are vegan/vegetarian! Service is always impeccable, and catering orders are always on time. Highly recommend this place!

For catering, Taqueria Zorro was 10/10. So fast and responsive via email. Tariq worked quickly and diligently to make sure that all our dietary preferences were accommodated. The food arrived perfectly on time and the staff was kind and helped me set up. Then the food itself was delicious. Each dish came in generous portions and tasted great. My experience was fantastic. Maybe because coming here was a part of a surprise party for my b'day. It is a magical place, probably very well known among locals, and might be a perfect tourist spot, because of it's atmosphere. It's like a living art nouveau painting and you're the main character.

By far and away the best bar in North Beach and one of the best in the city. This place has a really cool vibe and is nicely decorated. During the week it is usually decently busy, perfect for hanging out at the bar and chatting with friends or a date, but weekends it can get absolutely slammed. There is an upstairs section with nice views of the downstairs for people watching and of the street / alley outside, but sometimes it can be incredibly tough to snag a seat. It is pretty tight inside and not a huge place, but it is pretty easy to strike up conversations with people. When it gets slammed with people getting a drink can take awhile sometimes. Prices are definitely on the cheaper side and this bar really does attract all types of people. I always run into people visiting the city here, as well as people that are there all the time. Even when I am going out in other parts of the city I like to start off my night here and it is one of my favorite bars.

As classic as it gets! Vesuvio has been here for forever and there is a reason why it has such a stellar reputation. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect -- nothing beats crushing a few beers up on that second floor balcony. Love this bar and am excited to be back again soon!

Vesuvio Cafe has some of the best vibes I've ever experienced in a bar! Every single piece of artwork has a different story to tell. Service was fast. The drinks tasted great and were surprisingly cheaper than expected. Try to get a table on the second floor overlooking the bar to get a nicer view. One of my favorite bars in San Francisco. Highly recommended!

I am obsessed with this place. During my weekend in San Fran, me and my boyfriend went here almost every night. We love to share cheap pitchers of beer and this place had pitchers for $20 which was an unbeatable price in the area. The bar was so cozy. It felt like an old Victorian mansion. The walls were covered with art and paintings and it was lit with mostly Tiffany style lamps. I loved looking at the outfits people had on, seeing people enjoying the atmosphere with a cocktail and a book, or typing notes on a type writer and handing them to people around the bar. It felt like being in a different world and I loved the escape.

12-30-2022 - What an incredible find!! Found it after a random walk in the city, and its not as if this is a new place. Vesuvio is having its 75th anniversary in 2023. The terrace/balcony brings so much charm to the place. The walls are decorated with art work from local artists (I purchased 2 pieces) so it provides nourishment to your body AND mind. Plus.. It is BYOF (Bring Your Own Food), at least during the morning/afternoon. We were hungry, but the bartender said he was OK with us bringing in food. We brought in food from the pizza place down the street and enjoyed it with some amazing margaritas. Another Plus.. the patrons are very friendly. We had conversations with 3 different groups. What a fun experience. I will be back!

I love to come here for drinks and have been doing that for many years. It's quirky old fashioned San Francisco, full of history, full of charm, full of booze.

Decent tacos. Ordered al pastor, cabeza, and carnitas on Taco Tuesday, so $2.99 per taco, loaded with meat. The al pastor was a tad bit overcooked, but the flavor was good. I’ll definitely try them again on Taco Tuesdays.

If you're in North beach and craving some Mexican food, this is a good option. I usually get a regular asada burrito, but if you're feeling sit down their asada plate is pretty satisfying. Their habanero salsa can be hot or miss, some days it's got good spice, other days it's mostly tomato flavor.

I took the fish Taco. The fish was well cooked. Ingredients were mostly fresh. Waitress is not particularly talkative but doing all right. The inside was kinda loud and resonating, but still ok. There are sauces available and free to grab yourself. Almost everything is plastic so not the most beautiful decoration but we're here to eat :) Paid 8,17 after tax.

However it took a long time to get drinks, the space is very compact and seemed to be a hangout spot for the normal work week. The saving grace was the outside space where we could stretch out and chill with our drinks.

Very kitschy place with lots going on, there was a book club meeting the night we were there. Very arty with a young crowd. Not the friendliest of places, guy behind the bar quite abrupt, but I guess they're quite busy. No wifi but not a negative just letting you know. Top balcony is a good place to sit and people watch, overlooks some great street art.
