The only Pho place that sticks out in my mind. This place could just be the absolute best in SoCal, and I’ve been to a butt load of pho restaurants. Man I’ve even bought a t shirt from this specific restaurant because I really love it. This place ain’t no joke. Be warned once the weather drops in the area expect a good wait.

Update: Still the GOAT! Update: The best there was, there is, and ever shall be. Update: The top #1 pho place hands down. No comparison! The best of the best! Top 3 pho places of all time hands down. Pho is superb. Pork chops are superb. The owners and all the employees are superb. The #1 Pho w/ everything is a nice portion of meat and noodles for about $17. The Cha Gio egg rolls are hands down the best in town and I will dare to say in Los Angeles and LA county! I would avoid weekends bc its crazy busy on weekends.

My girlfriend loves this place, especially the eggrolls. She’s quite picky with pho, too, so this hits the spot for her. The pho broth is great. Doesn’t taste bland, sweet, or like it has too much msg. They also had chili oil!! I am one of those who loves chili oil in my pho, so this got me super excited. Only problem was that it wasn’t really tasty. Just simply tasted like chili and oil, no aromatics or additional flavor. The eggrolls were extremely delicious with such a crispy/crunchy texture. I’d say one of the best I’ve had at a restaurant for sure! Although, I still don’t know if I can agree on the price at $15.50. I’d assume it is due to the difficulty of preparing and the complimentary herbs/lettuce, but each to their own on that opinion. Service was extremely quick and food came out extremely fast for the two bowls of pho and eggrolls. Water was always topped off before I get a chance to notice and I drink a lot of water. Definitely a 10/10 on that, too! We will be back when we’re in the area again! Thank you :)

We've gotten a bit picky about pho since we went to Vietnam a couple of times and find many of the pho we try in the US not as flavorful as we'd like, but this was the best we've had in a long time. We both had a pho tai and split the cha gio. The fried spring rolls were delicious, fairly big, and came with all the herbs and vegetables you could want. This is definitely our new go-to for pho! The staff were friendly and the meal was very efficient. It's a busy place. We went around 5:45 on a Friday and we're seated immediately but when we came back out about 40min later, there were groups waiting outside.

Definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. Be ready for a wait if you are going on Saturday for lunch, the space is limited and it gets packed. It is worth the wait though, the food is delicious and authentic. The number 44 Bun Chao Tom comes with their signature egg rolls that deserve the praise. Staff are friendly and helpful and food come quickly.

The beef pho is incredibly flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and tender meat. It was a very enjoyable dining experience. But because of this, be prepared to wait in line even if you’re getting your lunch at 2pm lol. It wasn’t a long wait today since I only waited for about fifteen minutes. It’s definitely worth it

This place is popular. It is open at 10am. We arrived at around 10:15, and the restaurant is already full. Luckily, we only waited for 10 minutes to get seated. Tried their sandwich, beef roll, and beef vermicelli. All taste delicious.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to! Banh Tam Bi & Chao Tom is excellent and it distinguishes itself from any other Vietnamese restaurant I have tried before. Their Pho is authentic and very nice! The soup of Bun Rieu is fantastic if you like shrimp!

Food is absolutely delish! We drove here from the West side. There are only a handful of Pho spots we go to, and this is one of them. The spring roll are bigger than other restaurants. The soup is very tasty.

I was highly impressed with the vietnamese food here! The meat quality is superb for pho and the bun rieu oc is really good as well. Usually bun rieu oc doesn't come with extra dipping sauce so when it came with it here, it made it all the more special. Very authentic with the herbs and everything. The restaurant is always packed so make sure you have time to wait if necessary! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Golden Deli is a small Vietnamese food joint in SGV. They have been providing bowls of phở, crackly egg rolls, and other Vietnamese classics for 40 years. This casual, family-run restaurant is one of the best in the San Gabriel Valley. I have known and pass by this spot copious times for the past six years; never had the audacity to dine-in until now. We were fortunate that we didn’t wait to be seated given its popularity. I came late afternoon for a late lunch. Their food and drink menu was vast and it took me a long time to read the entire menu. I end up with my usual Vermicelli Chicken x Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Both food and drink were alright. I was still hungry after devouring my scrumptious meal. Service was really quick. Staff were competent and assiduous. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was noisy. Overall, I had a modest-in and out-experience.

It was the first time I came to San Gabriel and I learned that this is a very popular Vietnamese restaurant, so I gave it a try. I arrived at noon on Saturday, and there were many customers. We had tried their fried spring rolls. The deliciousness was really amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. In addition, the beef noodle soup is very sweet, and the portion is sufficient. Although the taste is not top-notch, it is pretty good.

Vietnamese pho has always been my comfort food. I enjoy randomly seeking out restaurants like this—delicious and quick. I rarely leave negative reviews, but that changed when I visited this place today. From the moment the first male waiter, with his hair slicked back, sternly ushered me in, to leaving without even a "thank you," I realized I didn't want to simply attribute the poor service to them being busy today. I would still frequent restaurants with poor service but great food because my purpose is to eat. However, for this place, I can only give my first negative review for a pho restaurant. The broth was bland. The fatty parts and gristle on the beef were poorly trimmed. The noodles were clumped together and hard in texture, which I believe was due to being undercooked. The baguette for the Vietnamese sandwich (Banh Mi) was excellent—soft and airy, and the vegetables were fresh. However, the pork had a strong gamey flavor and was also untrimmed with gristle. Approximately sixty percent of the meat was uneatable and I had to discard it. The overall experience was terrible. I almost wanted to say that the residents of San Marino do not deserve to have a place like this, until I saw the actual address. All I can say is that the constant look of discrimination I received is completely inconsistent with the honors displayed on their wall. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

No service for take out. They just want you to in and out. It’s fine as long as food is good. I came here because of the high reviews but man the meat in the pho was like rubber. I had to throw away almost all the meat. What a waste!
