The best dinner I’ve had in Cabo so far, the steak and lobster was excellente!!!
We love this place. Its such a welcoming and friendly restaurant. The atmosphere is authentic and the people are so friendly and accommodating. We visit this location at least 1x per year when in Cabo and we eat here every day at least 1x a day. Their food is amazing. Absolutely amazing. The fresh fish is delicious. They have the best ceviche in town!!! The Seafood cobb is to die for. They have so many options for fresh catch of the day it makes it hard to choose. The Imperial Shrimp is mouth watering. We tell everyone about this place.. A MUST if you are in the local area. One of our all time favorites!

Took the family to breakfast this past Sunday. Hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. Sardinia Scramble, Crab Benedict & Cantina Omelette were all outstanding. We will be visiting again for our last breakfast this trip
The food was absolutely scrumptious, the filet was so tender, the veggies were bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous. Oh, and the service was top-notch!
VERY busy because it’s VERY delicious! Our party was looking for a good restaurant to cook the fish we caught and THIS place was incredible!!! We had our fresh caught fish(grouper & white fish) prepared 2 different ways: grilled with a mango sauce and a coconut caper sauce, perfectly blanched veggies, delicious Mexican seasoned rice, a salad and THE best bread served with an herbed butter!! All of this for about 300 pesos per person. Friendly staff, quickly prepared and the margaritas were pretty good. Our only issue was we had a reservation we checked on twice for inside but when we arrived they didn’t have us down and so had to sit outside. Sorry that we forgot to take photos as we were so excited to eat!

My girlfriend has been coming here since she was a baby! We have had their breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing service that makes you feel like you are a part of there family. The food is excellent (best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had) Amazing fresh ahi tuna tostadas Margaritas are always well balanced and hit the spot. This trip we spent 5 days down in San Jose and ate here at least once a day!!!

Incredibly tasty food with generous portion sizes. The seafood in particular, was a standout on our trip. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp and shrimp quesadillas. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they checked in multiple times to be sure we were enjoying our meal.
Great little place. Chief only made Egg Fried Rice. No Spanish rice with meal. That should change.
Absolutely the best food and drinks. Especially the margaritas 😜 Saradina scramble was delicious The fish and chips were great The bartenders and all the employees were absolutely fantastic. Went and watched the Superbowl and had almost the whole place to ourselves. We stopped a few times on this trip.
I had tortilla soup before bacon and cheese wrapped prawns presented with carved vegetable flowers scewered in a grilled pineapple. everything was really good and service was great
I have dined at many Michelin star restraunts, and I can tell you the food at Sardina Cantina is just as food I'd not better!! And alot bigger portions!! Tuna tostadas are better then Nobu!! Best margaritas around! Oyster Rockefeller is also to die for!!! You will not be disappointed!!
An absolute must! Portions are huge, service is fantastic and food is always great. Go every time we’re here. Only problem is cash only and if you have a large party they sit you outside. But well worth it.
Excellent service. Generous portions at reasonable prices. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Bass, wonderful flavors. My wife had the Pasta Rustica, and we ended up taking some back to the hotel. It's was loaded with shrimp, chicken, and prosciutto in a cream based sauce, and I would have preferred penne instead of the linguine.
Awesome little place. Stopped in for a small bite. Shared the chicken prawn Alfredo. Delicious. Prawns were amazing...big and butterflied. Sauce was so creamy with the perfect cheesyness. They TAKE CASH ONLY.. we didn't know but they let us go with a credit... we went back and paid :)
Amazing food and great customer service! We came not once but twice..breakfast and lunch….The owner Mike made us feel as if we were at home! We tried the egg shrimp flouretine, and pancakes for breakfast…the calamari, coconut shrimp, and Lou’s burger, everything was delicious!!! 10/10 Recommend!!!
We ate here several times during our stay and the food was great every time! We loved the whole staff. So kind! But the food is crazy delicious!
We brought our own catch for the day mahi mahi and tuna and they prepared it a few different ways, was delicious and great service! We got bread to start with and a delicious garlic butter and the fish was served with veggies and rice Our server Dago was extremely friendly!
My husband and I stayed in La Jolla Residence and came here for lunch when we first got into town. We came back with some friends later in the week for dinner because it's within walking distance and oh am I so glad we did! This was one do our top dinners while staying in Los Cabos. We had yellowtail veracruz style, the Mexican combo the imperial shrimp and everything was amazing!! You must come here if you're staying in San José.
Hands down the best fish tacos I've ever had, and u try them anywhere we go. There tuna steak with a caper sauce was delicious as well! Definitely will be back soon
We celebrated a birthday here, and it was awesome. The food is fantastic and the portions are gigantic, I took enough back to the hotel to have an entire meal the second day... Lots of choices between freshly caught Seafood and what I had was an amazing chicken dinner. The staff was really fun and accommodating.
I had the coconut shrimp meal...so much food! Was delicious and filling so I had enough for a full meal as leftovers. The margaritas were also large and amazing also. The staff are so friendly. I will be back! If not this trip, it will be on my next trip!
Started our trip here with dinner (take out), and ended our trip here with breakfast. Both meals were fantastic. They speak good Inglés, so if your Spanish is like mine you can easily order, ask questions, etc.

Small place but has indoor and outdoor seating with a bar inside. The shrimp tacos were delicious but the tuna ceviche is a must order. They seem to have daily lunch and breakfast deals going on so meals are reasonable prices.
It was so good! The servers were so attentive, awesome vibey music, and the portion sizes were big and very worth it <3! I would come here again!!
We had an amazing dinner. My husband caught fish and we brought it in and Carmelo and Armando the chefs made two different incredible dinners. Manny, our waiter was great and RAFA. The bartender was super attentive. I highly recommend Sardina Cantina. We are looking forward to coming back again.
Great seafood. Friendly staff. Small intimate restaurant. If you eat inside get the bar top near the window. We could smell the wonderful smell of cooking our dinner. Scallops are served inside a pineapple. Coconut shrimp are skewered and and act as a crown to a pineapple which holds a wonderful coconut sauce.
Amazing food, servers speak English, a few gluten free options. Prices are amazing, at least compared to san jose California. Only downside is that they only accept cash.
Craving Calamari..sooooo good! Thin coating with lots of tentacles and yummy dipping sauces. Sat next to the window with a breeze enjoying a Ranch water and my husband's company . Highly recommend!!!

Cash only, bring your appetite, & you'll leave very satisfied! Small inside seating, but more room outside, (the highway is close, but not too close). The food is more than worth it. We went with clam chowder, fish tacos, shrimp basket, and coconut shrimp x2. Every entree was huge and amazing. I am a sucker for fish tacos, and the tilapia was perfect. You know it's a great restaurant when they offer to prepare your meal in any way that you prefer. The coconut shrimp are massive (6), and we couldn't finish them. The service reminded me of an old school diner, fast, efficient, and they know the menu inside & out. Changes? no problem...they want you to be happy, and we were!
The restaurant is fairly small and not fancy but comfortable. Our food and drinks were excellent! My wife had shrimp quesadillas and I had a house salad with seared ahi tuna. Both were delicious and very filling. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. A great place to stop on your way into San Jose coming from the corridor resorts. Be aware it’s cash only.
It's a small cozy place. Reminds of the small family owned restaurants found along the Mediterranean. Expats who live around here, say it servers the best food around Cabo area. Also known for the Caddilac Margarita. Don't have two. I ordered the seafood linguine with "red" sause. OMG!! It was not cheap, but an enormous amount. Excellent pasta which turned out to be spaghetti, all fresh seafood of every variety. A meal to dream of. Since we had some appetizers and complimentary bread plus I had two Pacificos, there is no way I could finish it. I managed maybe 1/3. Tok it home and can't wait to have the rest .

Excelente sin lugar a duda !! La calidez del personal y los platillos son una divinidad! Nada mas qué hay que llevar efectivo, no aceptan ninguna tarjeta ya sea débito o crédito.

Awesome place, right next to Worldmark Coral Baja. Great service, quick and efficient. Food was excellent, great quality and very fresh. Would especially recommend the tacos. One thing to note is they only accept cash so make sure you bring enough. Would recommend!

Great food and hefty servings. Loved the atmosphere, service and location right outside of our resort. They prepared a combo fish/shrimp basket at or request and we audio the chicken enchiladas. Took the leftovers back to the room :-).
Amazing restaurant. So much better than the food at our resort. It's a short walk up the hill from Coral Baja and well worth it. Many choices and even some lunch specials. When we were there, they had a $9 burger and fries special. Update: We e been here twice for lunch and again for dinner. Do not pass this place up, particularly for dinner!! The plates come out beautifully garnished with vegetable flowers and so much more. Captain John's Platter is s Shrimp, scallops, fish and calamari, served with veggies and potatoes and bread for the table. And they do not skimp on the portions. They offer multiple preparations. I chose the bacon wrapped shrimp because ... bacon! Grilled to perfection. Simply amazing. Do not miss Sardinia Cantina. Seriously.
Great restaurant walking distance from our timeshare. Food was fantastic and big portion. We were there Monday lunch and I have a coupon second plate off for lunch. They are very nice and made a special plate not on the menu for my kid. They will cook for fish if you had join fishing tour and need a place to cook your fish.
This is a great place! The food was delicious and more than either of us could eat. I missed that it was Cash/Venmo only, and it wasn't stated until after the bill arrived. I will definitely go back.

Fantastic little hole in the wall ran by native Montanans. Fantastic breakfast and dinner with some of the best clam chowder I have ever had. Went here multiple times getting both the chicken enchiladas and the sea bass. Both were very flavorful and a good value. Note to the owner, what was that weird Asian fried rice that was flavorless doing with my enchiladas? Maybe just stick with Mexican rice?
The food here is incredible!!! We decided to try this place since it was close to the condo we were staying at. Servers were so friendly and helpful. All covid precautions were taken with hand sanitizer and temp checks. Now on to the food. Our family of 5 loved everything. The chicken quesadilla wasn't your boring chicken and cheese. It had peppers and onions and was huge! Came with a side of beans and guacamole and sour cream. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly. Our usually bottomless pit child who ordered it was FULL. That's always a good thing. My husband and I tried the specials. Mine was imperial shrimp stuff with mozzarella and wrapped in bacon served with a sweet pineapple dipping sauce, veggies and I chose a loaded baked potato as my other side. My husband got the freshly caught yellowfin tuna seared with a garlic butter, white wine and some smokey mexican chili pepper sauce. Delicious! He chose au gratin potatoes as one of his sides. We shared a cesar salad that was yummy. And my daughter got a grilled chicken Cesar salad. Reasonable prices for the portions. They only take cash. I hope to go back later this week!!!
This place served the most delicious food we had in Mexico! We dined in on Friday and the night before leaving Mexico, we also ordered takeout from Sardina Cantina because it was just that good! Our server was Rafael and he was such an amazing person. He recommended us several dishes as well as providing us with happy hour specials. We ordered carne asada tacos, quesadillas, crab cakes, enchiladas, surf & turf, but the main event was the coconut shrimp dinner platter. The attention to detail on the plate was absurdly great. The coconut shrimp were cooked to perfection and the edible decoration on the plate made it even better. The mango salsa and the rice were also a homerun. The best meal I had in Mexico, hands down!! Such an amazing place to visit!

Super nice staff and nice place right next to the resort. They don't take cards anymore but worth going. Food was some of the best yet we have tried on this vacation. My combo plate was delicious. Everything on it was amazing and the wife's meal, she was so pleased with it. I recommend this spot. Seats were comfortable and $70 was not to bad for 2 people. Place was definitely on point.

The food was delicious and presented so nicely with hand crafted veggie flowers. Arrechera steak, steamed veggies, Au Gratin potatoes, fresh bread and homemade garlic butter. We thoroughly enjoyed all of it.
Portions are generous and the food was very good. The place is cash only and mostly outside but you are near the beach so it's to be expected. The wait staff was nice and as accommodating as possible. Really good, calamari, enchiladas, and burger!
So let's stay with atmosphere. The resturant is small and dinner dining is very dark suggest a bit more lights. The fake candles or lights with bottles just does help. Prices are a bit alarming afterall this Mexico but set for tourist of course so 1 dining outing here for 4 with drinks will set you back about 275.00 of which our 4th person shared a meal. Mind you only cash is taken...this sets up tourist to bring larger sum of money in their pocket. The food tax is 16 percent so keep that in mind. Food is good, but seems not as good as previous years. Quality a bit down...did you know they now added goat cheese to their guacamole? Why? When we questioned this they said no...clearly the appearance of goat cheese was in our guacamole and instead of getting us new they told us repeatedly no. Food allergies did not allow us to finish it. This set the tone for our meal. The tuna was great, the coconut shrimp a bit heavy on the breading as was the calamari that generally would be more rings instead of legs. The mash potatoes were serve cold should be hotter..Vegas were tasty.
We were in the mood to try something more authentic Mexican however due to holiday most of the places were closed. So we decided to give this place a shot. Cocktails were good. Food was okay, nothing exceptional at all. They don’t accept credit cards and only let you know that at the time of payment. Expect to spend around $50- 60$ US dollars/1000- 1500 Mexican pesos for a meal for two. Not many options to choose from in their menu. It’s an expensive tourist trap. Check out the local places- much better, authentic and much cheaper.
Pasé a comer porque fue el primer lugar que vi y pues la experiencia es decente. Tienen una de las cartas más pequeñas que he visto, y me costó elegir un platillo, no porque no se vieran apetecibles, sino que todos eran platillos demasiado... comunes, y ninguno llamó realmente mi atención. Al final elegí un cóctel de camarón y me lo prepararon estilo mexicano. Tenía buen sabor y los camarones eran de buen tamaño. El servicio fue de muy buena calidad, aunque también era el único comensal.
We went here just because it was so close to our resort, literally right outside of it. They have a lot of options but for 8 people we spent $300 for dinner and it wasn’t worth the price. It was really dark at our table since they didn’t have lighting outside other than small table “candles”. The seafood was pretty good and everyone liked their clam chowder but the calamari was chewy and more breading than anything. The chicken piccata was okay as were the fish tacos. Everything was average but our kids ate the pasta so we were happy about that!
Make a reservation or will sit with heavy traffic noise. Food - cheese enchiladas very filling - shrimp tacos very good but the noise ruined it for us.
