We had such a beautiful Valentine’s Day dinner at Fitoor Restaurant! The whole atmosphere was romantic and cozy — perfect for a special evening. Our server, Preet, was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Her service truly made our night extra special. We ordered the chicken dumplings, biryani, and goat curry, and everything was delicious! The dumplings were flavorful and fresh, the biryani was perfectly cooked with amazing spices, and the goat curry was tender and rich in taste. Every dish was full of authentic flavor. Thank you, Fitoor and Preet, for making our Valentine’s Day so memorable. We will definitely be coming back! ❤️
I had a great experience at Curry Up Now in San Jose. The atmosphere and vibe were fantastic, and the hospitality was top-notch. Raj, our server, was incredibly helpful and really made our visit special with his suggestions. We tried the Naughty Naan, Paneer Kebab Sizzler, Kachori Chaat, and the Paneer Tikka Burrito. The food was overall delicious—my favorites were the burrito, kebab, and Naughty Naan. The Kachori Chaat was just okay for me. I’d give the food 4 stars, but the service, hospitality, and ambiance deserve 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back!
Really loved the food and the service. Everything was delicious, and the service truly made the experience even better. A special shoutout to our server Dikshya, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming back!
We visited Curry Up Now yesterday to plan a surprise baby shower for a friend, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience! The food was delicious as always, but what really made our day special was the amazing service. A big shout-out to Diksha, our server , she was incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to help us set up, take pictures and videos, and make everything run smoothly. It’s rare to see someone so cheerful and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. Thank you, Diksha, and the entire Curry Up Now team for making our little celebration feel extra special. We’ll definitely be back! 💛
I was so tired and hungry after my classes and then I decided to have some snacks nearby me. I had heard a lot about the burritos of curry up now and my server Raj recommended me the newly introduced Parda Biryani and Chalupa tacos which were beyond my expectations. I was the lucky customer to meet the chef Bikram in the restaurant and he recommended to try fish and chips as well but I was already full😩 but I am pretty much sure that I will be back very soon to try it. Thank you Raaj for being a nice server!
We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday here, and it turned out to be the perfect choice—especially if you’re a fan of Indian cuisine. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it a great setting for a special occasion. We ordered the chole bhature and the chicken thali, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding—bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Each bite truly felt like a celebration of authentic Indian taste. What really stood out, though, were the starters. They were a brilliant example of Indian fusion done right—unique, flavorful, and a delightful twist on traditional dishes. We highly recommend trying them if you’re visiting. The service was attentive, and overall, it made for a memorable dining experience we’ll definitely return for.
Wonderful experience with contemporary Desi flavors . You have street food styles small bites like samosa to chaat everything.Grab your complimentary chai with biscuits to keep your mood high or grab a drink 🥃! You have various veg , vegans and non veg🌯 burritos…..when you are in super hurry but want to carry your curry . Go for it … a compact meal on your drive . A Currito bowl 🥣 is fully loaded with tasty & well seasoned curries , lentils , sag , saffron rice .A well balanced bowl packed with nutritious ingredients. A Curry thali is colorful feast with flavors. Exotic indian platter which can be enjoyed with different colors of nature red ,green, yellow . These names are given by me to have an idea about the meal and how it is served . For your understanding I have attached the menu photo . Portion size is perfect for individual.
Nice ambience, food and service is good. We were there on a Sunday at ~3pm so the place was not busy exactly what we wanted. We tried most of their chats and really appreciated their option for veg Keto bowl especially for those who are trying hard to manage dietary restrictions without having to miss out on comfort food :)
Curry-Up Now has truly outdone itself with their modern California twist on traditional Indian cuisine! From the vibrant atmosphere to the creative dishes, every aspect of this restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience. The cocktails, like The Mortal & Pestle and Summer Whip, were not only visually stunning but perfectly crafted to balance refreshing and bold flavors. As for the food, the Samosa Chaat and Bhel Puri were authentic yet had a contemporary flair, while the Guac Sev Puri was a delightful fusion that took street food to a whole new level. For mains, the Paneer Naughty Naan was cheesy and satisfying, and the Chicken Tikka Masala Burrito delivered a creative take on comfort food. The Lamb Sexy Fries were indulgent and flavorful, and the Tandoori Fried Sandwich was a crispy, spicy masterpiece. To end on a sweet note, the Hot Balls on Ice was the perfect dessert—an exciting blend of hot and cold with a unique presentation. Chef Das was very kind and staff made sure the service was good
Came here to try their special Diwali menu and it’s amazing. Very flavorful without being too spicy. And drinks are great. And very happy with the service too. Aloo puri halva reminds of home. Really liked palak patta chat and dahi bhalla and a very unique take on croissant dabeli ! Definitely interesting and worth trying. They also have an amazing Japanese whiskey collection. Brandon our server was amazing !
We had a great time here and came during happy hour. We sat at the bar and Brendon was such a fantastic bartender he made the trip even better. We got the Kachori Chaat and Punjabi 69 and they were both delicious. We tried a few different drinks including a couple on the happy hour menu and they hit hard. Really liked this place and the mood was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
If you’re looking for a modern take on Indian street food with an ambiance that feels both lively and welcoming, Curry Up Now in San Jose is your destination. During my visit, I sampled a variety of items from their extensive menu, and here’s how it went. The Mango Lassi was creamy and refreshing, while the Chai was perfectly spiced, adding a warm and comforting start to the meal. We tried a variety of small plates that were both creative and delicious. The Pani Puri was a tangy and spicy delight, served with a fun, interactive presentation. The Deconstructed Samosa was a flavorful blend of potatoes and peas, topped with a tangy chutney drizzle. The Guac Sev Puri was a unique fusion of Indian and Mexican flavors, with a creamy avocado base and crunchy sev. The Mini Samosas were crispy and packed with a savory filling, and the Naan Bits were perfect for scooping up all the delicious flavors. We ended the meal with the Gulab Jamun and Daal Halwa. The Gulab Jamun was soft and soaked in a sweet syrup, while the Daal Halwa was rich and textured, offering a unique and satisfying end to the meal. Overall Curry Up Now provides a delightful experience with a creative menu and friendly service. It’s a great spot to explore a fresh twist on classic Indian dishes.
I love this place and this review was long overdue. The ambiance is great, totally reminds me of India - love the bollywood songs they play. Loved the vada pav, kathi rolls (paneer) and kachori chaat. All 5/5. Very flavorful. Naughty naan and chicken tikka sandwich were pretty oily but tasty. Tikka masala bowl and deconstructed samosa was was okay. 3/5 Staff is nice and friendly. Overall I love the place and the vibe! Perfect for Indian street food with a twist :)

Everything's delicious! The ambiance is great, as well as the customer service. Mitesh was very attentive to us. My whole family had a great experience. We will definitely come back here again soon.
Food was delicious, delivery was quicker than expected. Food is pricy, but that's all across the board in the Bay Area, to be honest. I'd order here again.
Two thumbs all the way up!! Very flavorful food, fun and creative options, and speedy delivery service. Some things I recognized and some that were new to me. Would absolutely order again and hop…
Decent spot for parties of all sizes. It's moderately priced (around $15 to $20) per person. There was enough parking at the visitor parking lot, but I'd still recommend carpooling or going as a group when visiting.
We ordered 2 Burritos - Goan chicken and lamb. Lamb burrito was tasty but a bit salty for my taste. Goan chicken was not that great, expected it to be spicy when we specifically asked it to. Instead Goan burrito had more flavour and spice. However the burrito quantity was very good and filling. Deconstructed samosa were not that great choice to order, there was something missing in it, especially when it was presented as a chat dish (based on the ingredients provided) The ambience is great!
The restaurant features a retro vibe and offers a unique Indo-Californian menu. We tried several dishes, the Naughty Naan with Paneer, Punjabi 69 (cauliflower version), Pani Puri and Pineapple Frizz. The Pineapple Frizz was the standout, followed closely by the Naughty Naan. The Cauliflower 69 was a bit oily and the Pani Puri didn’t taste as great as we expected due to the Channa stuffing (a potato stuffing might have been better). However, the presentation of the dishes was extraordinary and impressive. We were too full to try their Holy Moly Fried Ravioli or we would have given that a shot. The customer service was excellent, the place was spacious and the ambiance was pleasant. If you are a fan of paneer dishes, this place is definitely worth a visit. Their menu offers vegetarian, non-vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options, accommodating a variety of dietary preferences.
Loved the rustic ambiance here. We ordered their choley bhature, bowl, sandwich, pav bhaji and thali. Choley bhature, pav bhaji and the sandwich were our favorites. The chicken sandwich was very full of flavour and I absolutely loved it. Lamb keema was not great in the thali. Service was a bit slow.
It’s a funky place with some twisted menu. Ambiance is good. Service is good. Taste is good. We tried sexy fries, paneer tikka naan pizza and deconstructed samosa were good but not so great however kulfi ice cream was so so good. They give a free chai which can be better. The quantity is huge so order accordingly.
Had ordered food from Doordash in the past but this was the 1st time visited this place for dinner with friends. The ambience is funky modern n Indian mix. The food we ordered was a good attempt to match the street food culture in India. I liked the tandoori chicken sandwich of all the food items we ordered. Overall a good place to hangout and have fun!!

This time we tried Papadi Chaat, Vegetarian Gobhi Tacos and Naan Pizza. Taste was good and so was the service! \nI love that they serve Chai with Parle Gs.

Ordered karol bagh thali, samosa, mango lassi, pav bhaji, kachori chaat, curry bowl and hot balls (gulab jamun). Worst indian food in terms of taste. Not sure of the quality. Also extremely expensive. Not worth the value. Edit 1 9/14/25 - increasing 1 star for the ambience, quick service and late night availability. Liked raj kachori chaat this time. Rest of the food I ordered (goan burrito, pav bhaji and mango lassi) still not good. Also very expensive.
The food wasn't spicy at all, but it was still flavorful thanks to the other spices--though it could have been better. The Death by Tikka Masala was very plain and not as good as it could be. I tried…

Zero‑Star Review for Curry Up Now – San Jose I was really looking forward to trying Curry Up Now, but our visit was a disappointment from start to finish. • Dishes ordered: Samosa Chaat and Karol Bagh Thali • Temperature: Both arrived barely lukewarm, as if they’d been sitting out for a while. • Flavor: Surprisingly bland. The samosa chaat lacked the tangy chutneys and spice kick it’s known for, and the thali components tasted flat and under‑seasoned. • Value: Given the portion size and quality, the prices felt unjustified. In short, the food was neither hot nor flavorful—exactly the opposite of what you expect from Indian street‑food classics. I hope the kitchen can address consistency and seasoning, because right now I can’t recommend this location.
