Best Jack in the Box I've been to in a while! The cashier was really friendly and even gave the 3 of us our orders in our own bags without asking even though it was one check. Burgers were tasty with just the right amount of sauce. Definitely fulfilled that 1am craving!

This was the most peak McDonald’s I’ve ever been to lowkey. The bathrooms are so clean and they give you so many napkins and sauce. And it tastes good. And the gave us an extra nugget. Love you guys!!

Had been given fries that were almost half full. Asked a young gentleman if they could throw a bit more in. He said keep them and I'll drop you 2 more fresh right now. VERY POLITE VERY FRIENDLY! Really good guy! YOU THE MAN JEREMIAH ON 2ND SHIFT! GIVE THE MAN A RAISE!

This location is not too bad. I live around the corner and appreciate the late night hours and 2 tacos for .99 if ordering through the app. The people working handle the crowd and get you what you ask for. They work to get people in and out. It’s usually pretty clean and I don’t know if the bathrooms are open. Probably good not to open, downtown can be dirty.

Don't waste your time waiting at the Drive thru from 3:30 to 4:00 am They don't serve you. I was seating there for like a30 plus minutes waiting and when I'm make it to The order what they tell me... Sorry we closed 🔒 for the next 30 Minutes come back after 4:00am

Here's their Really-Big-Chicken-Sandwich promoted on TV. Tastes much better than Burger King, but much worse than Chick-fil-A. I do not recommend any of the Jack in the Box chicken sandwiches at this time. The most satisfying item at Jack in the Box is still the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger, in my opinion.

These people still have the lobby closed 2 years into Covid and this is ridiculous. Same for the bathrooms. This is a major problem with a lot of establishments and people shouldn’t have to use a garbage can outside as a table to eat their meal. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because some of the staff here are nice.

The two lane drive thru is poorly designed. People with common sense understand there are people already in line; while others will freely pull into parking lot and cut in front of those who were there first. Service was extremely slow. Will never come to this location again.

I like going here for cheap and fast food. Usually the service is fast, but they always get my order wrong. They neglect to add sauces I ordered and sometimes forget my add on drink. Today brought me to my limit… How are these considered “Large” Curly Fries!? The cup is halfway filled and the fries are really cold. I feel less inclined to go again since I don’t want to be scammed out of my purchase.

Even though it's a restaurant parking lot, they've closed it off with a big gate, so you can't find a place to park your car; it's a really bad situation.

This is one of the worst jack n the boxes in the whole Bay Area. I DoorDashed from here and they literally didn’t even give me anything I ordered, they have a bunch of young burnt teenagers working there not doing there job. And on top of that they don’t even have a condiment section online. And when the dasher asked they tried lying saying we couldn’t get any. They don’t even charge for them so idk what the issue is. AVOID JACK N THE BOX ON 148 E SAN CARLOS ST. Horrible horrible horrible!!!!!

Ordered a doordash order and they couldn't do it i got a note to call the store i called they kept hanging up. This is the WORST place to put an order at.

Ordered ahead online and still waited 20 mins in the drive thru between the order speaker and the cash window. Absolutely ridiculous. Get more help at this location for night shift especially. Waiting 30 mins for a call ahead fast food order is INSANE. And my fries were freezing cold

Waited over half an hour only to be told I can't pick up my mobile order because they "can't see their screens". I was told the money would be refunded automatically yet it never was. I had to dispute it with my bank. Liars and thieves at this location. Very rude, too.

Food is fine. It’s the customer service. Went during Christmas Day. They were overwhelmed but doesn’t mean I’m not getting what I pay for. At first I wasn’t rude and told them they missed something’s so they wanted to double check the receipt. Fine. Then they only gave me medium drinks but I ordered large meals which is silly. (their screen wasn’t working to see the order or I would’ve corrected them) Then I told them that two of the fries were only half way filled I’m sure because they are rushing with the crowds… which is not acceptable since it’s not free so of course I will bring that up to fix it. Should be no issue right. He said they are so busy and have orders waiting that I had to pull around and come in and wait. No no no, so that my food is cold nope. I didn’t move my car and just waited there til I spoke with someone else. Least the manager was nice to remake new ones and quickly. Not the best location but it’s fine. Just double check all your food to make sure you aren’t missing anything.

Every few months or so I regretfully find myself coming back to this McDonald's when Chic Fil-a is closed in order to feed my girlfriend who has a food allergy and this is the only option left. This store could care less about the quality of their food, whether it's on the manager being lazy or the owner being a cheapskate, the food always seems to be 3 days old and never made fresh. How hard can it be to make the food to order. Almost every fast food place can do this besides McDonald's apparently. There's a reason every place around you has a way higher rating. The customer return rate at this location has to be atrocious and I hope they realize consistency and making food to order will fix this problem. Nobody wants cold fries and dry nuggets that have been sitting for hours. If this place didn't have the McDonald's name over its building it would have been gone long ago especially with how little the franchisee seems to care about it. Stop prioritizing "speed" (because even when you premake it it still somehow takes forever) and focus on actually letting your customers enjoy their food.

Ordered curbside carry out food in the app at 7:30pm, sat in the spot for 30 minutes and didn’t receive any food. Number listed online was out of service. Went to drive through, was told “We’re short staffed we’re doing the best we can.” No apologies, kind of a rude tone. My food was cold when I got home and I live less than two miles away. I can not in good faith recommend this McDonald’s to anywayone.

2nd time this week I've had to wait an hour for my food even though I order beforehand. The first time my food was at least correct but this time I'm missing items. Both times I wasn't the only person it happened to. It's fast food shouldn't take an hour to get meals that are ordered ahead of time there really isn't much of an excuse imo, update I used their link and it doesn't work this place is a joke

Consistently the worst McDonald’s / restaurant in the area. Terrible service. under staffed? Without a doubt you’ll spend 20-30 mins minimum in their drive thru . Just go to Wendy’s next door to avoid the aggravation. If I wasn’t so damn addicted to those golden salty French fries I’d never go here again.

I tried speaking to 2 different employees to figure out how to order. They both looked away and ignored me. Finally the young man who was managing saw me and he was great. I feel badly for him trying to manage that " crew".

Just left this location and between the attitude of the person taking the drive-thru orders/payment in the first window and the inability to get a simple correct I will not be returning. Every time I give this location a chance it ends in nothing but disappointment and usually missing or incorrect items and the terrible attitude was it for me. I don't need smiles and cheer, but I'm also not responsible for whatever your mood is. Be better.

Just left Mc d where I got all large drinks to get the monopoly pieces just to recieve all my drinks and someone in Mc d already pulled them all off before giving them to us. I called and she said she would look into it never took my name or offered anything in return. My coffee was delicious none the less.

Absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been to! Sat in the curbside pickup for over 15 minutes, went inside, and as told they had no idea where my order was. Good grief! I've been there a few times before, as well, and my food was always, ALWAYS cold. Do better! I will NOT be back.

This is the worst service I have experienced at a restaurant. I waited over 40 minutes and still did not receive my food. When I tried to ask someone the progress on the order, no one acknowledged me and were all too busy doing other things.

25 minute wait after I paid just to get 2 breakfast sandwiches while one of the employees was standing there playing a game on her phone instead of helping. Trash work ethic killing service! Need better management! McDonald’s won’t care about this review because the line will fill regardless. However, better management and discipline/accountability would increase efficiency and throughput leading to more profits.

I order large Caramel frappe in the drive thru, the person was not paying attention and rude. When I pulled around they gave me a large mocha. I tried to hand it back and told them that was not what I ordered, they said it was. I told them they must've misheard me then but no they continue to say its was not. I was gonna leave til they took back the mocha and made me a caramel. They made a medium caramel and covered the rest with whipped cream. First they were rude then they cheat me on the frappe. Worst experience ever.

Rip people off for their money. Ordered a medium milkshake got a small. Ordered a sweet tea and they filled the cup all the way up with ice to where I could not get a straw in the cup and they gave me unsweetened tea. Sitting next to 3 managers audibly complaining about this. They don't care.

9:45pm Wednesday, pulled up to the drive thru window and was told by the employee that they are not taking any orders due to low staffing, since the restaurant was open and other cars were waiting in the drive thru I assume that was a lie and they must still be taking online orders through sites like the app or DoorDash. That said, if the employees want to be lazy and not work; im not going to risk ordering online.
